Ava Mehra has always believed love should feel like the books she reads. Reyan Malhotra? Absolutely not that type. He’s the popular boy everyone looks at, the one who could charm his way through life, and the one she’s sure would never fit into the story she imagines for herself. They argue, they annoy each other to the point of madness.
Enemies? Maybe.
Something more? Definitely not.
But somewhere between their fights, teasing, and undeniable chemistry, feelings grew... even when they tried to ignore them. But then comes a misunderstanding big enough to break them apart, a goodbye neither wanted, and five long years of silence. Now fate brings them face-to-face again. The timing is wrong… but their hearts remember everything.
Love isn’t always like the movies—sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it hurts, sometimes it leaves… only to return when you least expect it.
DNF @ pg 105 Hell, damn, sh*t, and f word. Oh my god, god A book quote on a hoodie that said “lift your hips for me love” Guy gets drunk They kept bring up a spicy book The guy was pretty much obsessed, like not in a good way. I was really hoping this would be good and clean. It was sweet and I love how he read all the books she loves but yeah most weren’t clean. I wish this was cleaner.

This romance healed something in my heart. It shows every person how love is worth waiting for. You can spend years searching for love, but when you finally find the person who feels like home, the world stops being an obstacle and starts making a way.
I honestly thought it was so sweet on how Reyan had read every book Ava loved. It was the small details that mattered because it literally led to her being PROPOSED to be his girlfriend in a bookstore.
Near the end I thought it was over since Isha actually pissed me off with the engagement invitation to Reyan😭 I was going to throw hands🙏
In the end it all worked out because the man took a car accident for Ava and I couldn’t be more emotional🥺
The author has done wonders with her book and I am so excited for her next romantasy!

This was a short and cute read! Perfect for times you feel single af (ik I'm cringy but who cares) Reyan is my literal dream guy and I loved him and Ava together so much. To be very honest, I enjoyed 60% of the book way more than the last 40%, where the 3rd act breakup happened (I hated how Ava just believed Isha) Overall, this was a cute read and I really liked it 💗
