Very simple story and easy to read for kids but very well done. Even though it’s short, there was still enough of a story there to make it interesting. There is a grammatical error in the book though. The word gave is there instead of game in one spot. While experienced readers can easily figure out what was meant, inexperienced readers who are learning to read may be unnecessarily confused. I would recommend finding and correcting it before handing this book to a beginner reader, but other than that, this book is great for Scooby fans who are learning to read.

I think this is a great book for early readers. I have always enjoyed Scooby-Doo books, because of the mystery element, and I think that it helps to keep young readers engaged. I also enjoyed how they wrote Scooby's words starting with an R for example Rokay so you can almost hear Scooby's voice saying it in your own head.
I would definitely recommend this book for any level 3 reader!

No Monster, Boo

My 4 year old was very disappointed by the lack of monster hunting.

But it's a fun story even if he didn't like the ending😐😶😐😐😐😐😐😐

This was a picture book, which means there are pictures instead of words in the text. It's great for beginning readers but for those of us reading it outloud it's very frustrating and makes it harder to read. This story wasn't a scary one, but was still a mystery. A good one to get your youngster started with Scooby and the gang.
