Red was raised to hunt the creatures that destroyed her family.
She never expected one to save her life.

Gregor Callahan rescued a terrified little girl from the ruins of her past. He raised her, trained her, and molded her into the deadliest member of his syndicate of hunters. Under his protection, she became Red, a woman both fearless and fiercely loyal, her only mission to rid the world of the monsters that slaughtered her family.

When the infamous Red crosses paths with Kellan, the alpha of the very pack she has hunted her whole life, everything she believes shatters. Kellan delivers a dangerous ultimatum with an impossible choice that tests her in ways she never expected. He claims Callahan Corporation is hiding the truth...and that Red is the key to bringing it down.

Suddenly surrounded by enemies, forced to choose between the life she knows and one she can’t fathom, Red steps into a deadly game where every loyalty is cast into doubt. As the secrets unravel and the truth becomes a blur, Red begins to question her memories, her mission, and the very foundation of her identity.

Red has always known exactly who she a hunter forged from loss, sworn to protect others from the monsters that took everything from her.

But if all she was taught is a lie, her only chance at survival may be to become something she never imagined.

Power and strength but still learning the vulnerable parts of yourself.
I loved that the FMC was strong on her own merit. The fight scenes were so engaging I just kept reading and didn’t want to stop. I wanted more after the last chapter!
If you enjoy werewolves, action, and self discovery you will enjoy this read.

Being Red is a fast-paced debut novel with a fierce heroine—a dark twist on an old fairy tale, and I don’t want to give too much away, but there are werewolves.

Elena Marie Ball writes some of the best fight scenes I’ve ever read. The action is vivid, tense, and easy to follow without losing the emotional stakes.

I loved how this novel kept me turning pages, asking questions, and wondering who the real monster is. Being Red is perfect for readers who enjoy dark fantasy.

Being Red is an engaging paranormal read with a strong premise and an easy-to-root-for heroine. Red’s journey from loyal hunter to questioning everything she’s been taught adds intrigue, and the tension between her and Kellan keeps the story interesting. The plot moves at a good pace and gradually reveals secrets that make you want to keep reading. Overall, an enjoyable story with plenty of action, mystery, and promise for what’s to come.
