Snowed In With An Emotional Menace

Rate this book
Kaemon ain’t your typical menace…

He don’t yell, don’t fight, don’t wild out. He hurts you quietly. Through distance. Through silence. Through emotions he refuses to handle.

And Amira… She ends up snowed in with the one man whose pain speaks louder than his words.

Amira came for peace… but Kaemon’s the type of man who wears stillness on the outside and broken glass on the inside.

When secrets melt, and walls crack under the weight of winter, Amira learns the truth…

Sometimes the most dangerous men are the ones who feels everything but shows nothing.

👀😳😐

Y’all I truly don’t know how to feel about this dang book!! For one it has some funny parts, but secondly it’s ALL over the dang place. I’m more confused than I started. Like I truly feel sorry for Kaemon. He sleep with women that were younger replicas of his ratchet mammy…then the turns it take 👀😳.

It’s not a bad book at ALL, it’s just all over the place.

Wait…What?!!!🤯😱

Ok I loved this book, but what in the world? I was expecting a story line about an emotional menace, but I read an action packed book that had absolutely nothing to do with the title. Good book nonetheless. I can’t wait for part 2.

Listen Linda, the synopsis and the title maybe a little misleading on this one. However, you will not be disappointed, so jump in!

It's almost like Kaemon was the Grinch. Life failed a hopeful 10 year old kid on Christmas, so he made it his mission to take it all back by any mean. Thus becoming a menace to the world that failed him.

"I wasn’t born no menace. Life just didn’t give me no regular lane to drive in. It threw me in the fast one, cut the brakes, and said, “Good luck, lil’ nigga.”

This was Juicy, funny and hella messy, yall!

Wtf?!?!

The story was going good albeit kind of random, but I was feeling it. However, the abrupt ending pissed me off. Don't even waste your time unless a second book is introduced.

Too many loops left open...it was never clear what happened when he was arrested. What happened with the baby boy? Who got shot at the hospital?? What is the secret between the mom and the psycho ?? Where is Kaemon during all of this chaos?? Smh to leave things in this far is a lull is criminal.

Uuuummmm….where is the rest?

This book is too messy! From page 1 you meet Kaemon and his story starts off in immediate chaos. It quickly escalates to ratchetness and then he meets what feels like peace. But his poor past decisions want to keep him caught in a vicious cycle.

Secrets are falling out of pandoras box. Just when it pipes up, the book ends. So where is the next part Shantelly?! 🤔🤦🏾‍♀️

chaos + Christmas = good mess

This book was soooo good and messy! Secrets, fights, and chaos reign supreme! Shantelly wrote a good Christmas story that kept me engaged from the first chapter!

Cycles

Repeating the same Generational curse that has led to a lot more than just being able and willing to accept that change is possible. Parents should want their children to be better not less fortunate than they are.

I NEED BOOK TWO IMMEDIATELY!

Omg... Shantelly, how could you end like that! I was having a good ol time. Then the laughter and "oh shit" moments got cut short. You could have left a release date for the next part or something at the end 😂.

Title doesn’t match

99% of the story. The last 1% got weirdly serious. I’m still trying to figure out how they knew where the grandmother lived. And how they knew her name. I don’t think I care to read part 2.
