i picked 5 stars because i liked the way this book showed off some of the amazing moments throughout the years of nascar and the proud history of motorsports. i think other people should read this book because it a great book showing lots of the history and the great moments of nascar and shows moments from when nascar first started and show moments from big names like dale earnhardt and richard petty.one thing i think would make it a little better would be if it showed more of how nascar got started and a little about modern day nascar

I wondered why the event history recordings stopped in 2015...
By 2015, the last history of recordings, The sprint cup series.....! Although, they had inspection difficulties which delayed qualifying racing times, Nascar worked very hard to get it all back together!

This is an inspiring history of how Nascar became known, and got its name. As with most historical events, the south, as in florida, became a hot spot for racing. However racing wanted more than just the south.

In the 1940's, stock car racing emerged. Bill France became a well known stock car driver.
By 1947, Bill France, Sr., became the founder of Nascar, Although he had never raced in the event.

Nascar was then formed into a private corporation by Bill France and President E.G. Cannonball Baker, was appointed commissioner.
