4.5 ⭐️ (come on Goodreads, it’s 2026. Give us the ability to do half stars!!)

Wow, this is the best self-published book I’ve ever read. A murder mystery about a small town with secrets, but this book will keep you constantly turning pages with the amount of reveals and twists. So many complicated relationships. Nothing is as it seems. A delicious start to a new year of reading!

An absolute page turner, I couldn’t put it down! This book and story were particularly special to me, having grown up in Salem/65560 one grade above the author! The twists and turns kept me engaged, along with the emotional story of the 4 young friends.

A 12/10 read. Living in the area around where this book takes place, I loved that I could relate with many parts of the book- minus the crime and murder.

Also, my place of employment was indirectly mentioned. My coworkers and I greatly appreciated it!

I LOVED reading this book so much! This one was fun to read because 65560 - Dent County is my home, and I could see these places in my mind while reading the story! I do hope he writes more books similar to this one!! 10/10 recommend for sure 👍🏼

Great Story. Such good usage of small town dynamics. If you are a fan of the show Bloodlines, I think you would enjoy this read.
