Love Notes

Pine Valley. It was one of those small towns nestled in a long narrow valley that was lined with thick and tall pine trees on both sides. The little town was held still in time with all of yesterday’s accommodations. A friendly smile, a firm handshake and proper manners had always and would always play a big part in the frozen-in-time town. Most everyone who lived in Pine Valley was born and raised there. They, for the most part, could not bring themselves to leave its comforts. The slow content lifestyle suited them just fine. Very rarely did anyone visit the little town and not fall in love with it. Most of those who visited ended up establishing a permanent residence. They just couldn’t seem to pass on its pureness and honesty.

There were no mysteries about the little town of Pine Valley or its people. Everything was out in the open for everyone to see or hear………. Well, almost. Some unforeseen circumstances led Abby to pursue a different life. Never in her wildest dreams would she have imagine what was in store for her at her new location. The unknown is sometimes nerve wrecking and even scary. You know the feeling; you can’t wait for it to be over and done. At the same time, other unknowns are harmless and even fun to experience. The kind that keep you imagining and dreaming. When your dreams actually come true and the unknown surpasses what you had imagined, it is a completely different feeling. A feeling that runs deep, especially when it’s a love you have always held buried in your heart just waiting for the right time and person to bring it to the surface and allow it to flow out of you. You realize the wait and the leap into the unknown were totally worth it.
