"It wasn't time that consumed me, it was you."

In the aftermath of the queen’s demise, Winter finds herself at a crossroads. There will be another hierarchy battle if she doesn’t marry Westley. The packs crave stability, and two alphas are stronger than one. Between imprisoning Kaden and discovering the truth about her lineage, her mind is in turmoil. Is loving her mate enough to stay in the past forever and leave her family behind?

Westley isn’t going to force Winter to marry him. With pressure steadily mounting, she leans on his second instead. Everett is patient, understanding, and all of the things Westley isn’t. Jealousy grips Westley again and again, especially when he smells their stolen kisses. Is loving his mate enough when her heart drifts in different directions? Will she choose between him and his second, or will she go back to the future after all?

As Winter and Westley’s tale continues, the prophecy unfolds. Gold flourishes. Evil looms. Fate shifts into the enemy, threatening to end their story before it has the chance to bloom.

WHAT DO I EVEN SAY? MY BRAIN IS NOT BRAINING!

This book is properly named but inside reflects a much bigger, deeper, chaotic and emotionally reflective story.

The author beautifully highlights the chaos of Winters constantly changing life and the weight of it all, the past haunting her more so now than ever. Winter is a ferocious and deeply empathetic person and balances them well - exuding strength, support, love while still able to be commanding, steadfast and authoritative. She wears her burden under her heart but with West and now Everett in her life, they are all able to tame the beast and cherish the broken pieces with no timeline, no expectations - with raw love, intense passion and understanding; unfiltered affection. West and Ev are the ying and yang of Winters life, each offering light and dark and somehow they all balance each other offering support, love and a safe space to heal.

This story unravels quickly and evolves in no specific pattern; you think you have it figured out and the story turns another direction. Over the development of so many things, the trio face many obstacles, decisions and more questions than answers. Tension, yearning and devastation are present as ever as the prophecy continues to unravel - not all that glitters is gold. You get more character development, more in depth experience of everything going on behind the scenes.

The author created the perfect concoction of spice, banter, heartfelt moments and heartbreaking moments in an unmatched intensity that has your heart cracking, warming, and speeding up. The end was so brutal and leaves you feeling so many emotions, closing this book with so much unanswered feels like darkness itself is taking over your vision leaving you blinded, much like Winter.

Thanks to B.L. Lewis for the eARC! 💕

All Winter wants is time. Time to sort out her feelings, to understand the prophecy, and how her lineage is relevant to it. Westley is still battling his insecurities and doesn't want to force Winter's hand in marriage, but the packs require it, and they all know it. He loves Winter, but sees how she looks at Everett. Will she reject their bond and chose his second over him? Or abandon them alltogether and return to the future to be with her family? Can they figure out their changing relationships, without breaking each other's hearts?

TGG heavily focuses on relationships and trauma, and thus broke my heart multiple times. 💔
West never considered himself worthy, never good enough. The one thing Winter asked for, time, he cannot give her. He craves his mate's proximity, even though he feels banished to the sidelines.
Seeing how easily it comes to Ev to support Winter in her struggles, and how much she adores him is eating West alive, and his jealousy boils to dangerous levels once again.

The way I see it, Everett is literally the glue holding it all together, he really loves them both fiercely, and should be more appreciated. He's understanding and patient with Winter who is refusing to put a label on their relationship, and still supports her while she confronts past and future. He calls West out on his bad attitude, and overall makes him a better man imho - and it's been that way even before Westley became alpha. The difference to before is that Winter makes Ev challenge West, not in a threathening way, but one that enables growth. 😌

Sometimes dealing with ones own feelings can be overwhelming, but considering they're all bound to each other, when one suffers, they all suffer and it must be unbearably difficult to figure out their relationships on such a short timeline. ❤️‍🩹 It's beautiful how slowly but surely, and with constant reassureance, West changes for the better while being around Ev & Winter. After all, if they cannot convince him that he's worthy of love, nobody can. This is the ultimate why choose because they all love each other deeply. ❤️‍🔥

This book, this entire series, reminds me of why I prefer series over standalones. You get to know the characters, not only the protagonists but the others as well. You'll end up begging the author for spin-off series because you want your favorite side character to tell their story.
B.L. Lewis is a genius and casually provides backstories for her characters, all while making them relevant to the main story and I LOVE it. She did so for Mellie, and in this one we learn more about Mags and Emrys, and that's fantastic. Side characters who are more than a plot device? YES PLEASE! 👏

B.L. Lewis truly knocked it out of the park with Golden Goddess. This book is, in every sense, golden.

What stood out to me immediately was how thoughtfully B handled the emotional and mental health struggles of both Winter and West. Healing isn’t rushed here. Growth is messy, nonlinear, and deeply human — and Everett becomes the steady center they both need when everything feels like it’s unraveling.

West is really going through it in this installment, but watching his growth was incredibly rewarding. He’s learning to give himself grace while trying to become a better wolf, alpha, pack leader, and mate to Winter. Even when he falls back into anger, he’s learning to challenge his thinking and choose change — and that progress feels earned.

Winter is guarded, fierce, and controlled on the outside, yet deeply vulnerable beneath the surface. Her fear of letting people in — and letting herself be loved — mirrors West’s in powerful ways, which explains why they’re so explosive together. As we learn more about her past, her need for control and emotional armor makes heartbreaking sense. Her trauma has shaped her adulthood, but this book shows her slowly beginning to loosen her grip and open her heart.

And then there’s Everett — the calm to West’s feral energy and the emotional anchor holding them together. He knows when to give space and when to draw a firm line, reminding them who they are. Watching how West and Everett balance one another was one of my favorite dynamics, especially in how it centers and supports Winter. It becomes clear that the three of them truly need each other.

B also continues to shine with found family. Emrys absolutely stole my heart, and watching Winter embrace him was incredibly touching. The strengthening bonds between Winter, Mags, and a certain tiny vampire added another layer of warmth and healing that Winter desperately needed.

And that ending? A wild prophecy and a cliffhanger that left me reeling and counting down to book four.

Golden Goddess delivers emotional depth, growth, passion, found family, spice, sharp humor, and lingering threats that refuse to disappear. B’s wit had me snorting out loud more than once — and I am more than ready to watch our Golden Queen finally claim her throne.

✨ARC Review✨

Hands down, a 6⭐ read for me!

“It wasn’t time that consumed me, it was you.”

And that single line tells you everything you need to know about the way this book will OWN your fucking heart!

Winter and Westley’s story didn’t just continue…it deepened it, fractured it, and then set it on fire. From the very first chapter, I felt the weight of grief, duty, and impossible choices pressing down on Winter. Winter’s internal conflict is raw and devastating. Love versus blood. Fate versus freedom. Past versus future. My heart ached for her because loving your mate should be enough, right? But sometimes love asks for sacrifices that feel unbearable.

And Westley…god Westley absolutely shattered me. His restraint, his jealousy, his quiet desperation as he watches Winter lean on Everett…it’s brutal in the most human way. He loves her enough to let her choose, even when it’s destroying him.

And Everett? Ugh 😩 He is so patient, gentle and safe. The emotional tension between these three is exquisitely painful, filled with unspoken truths and longing. And you WILL be left having a hard time choosing between Ev and West…but that’s part of the “why choose” isn’t it?! 🔥🥵

The prophecy unfolding in the background adds an ominous, glittering edge to everything. Gold flourishing. Evil stirring. Fate itself turning adversarial. Just when you think the story might offer peace, it reminds you that destiny is not kind…and unfortunately, happy endings are never guaranteed.

This book is emotional torment done right. It’s yearning and jealousy and devotion tangled together…layered with pack politics, looming war, and a love triangle that actually means something. I didn’t just read this, I felt every heartbeat, every choice, every almost could be. Hands down, a 6⭐️ read.

If you love stories where love isn’t easy, fate is cruel, and the characters leave claw marks on your soul…this is an unforgettable continuation in The Wolf Queen Chronicles, that will forever live rent free in my head! I am emotionally wrecked, utterly obsessed, and desperately need the next book 🐺 💔✨

I received this book as an early ARC and I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did! Let’s get into it!!

First things first this is one of my favorite series I’ve read this year! If you haven’t read this series yet, you are truly missing out!!

I can’t!! I would sell my soul to have my hands on book 4 right now!! The cliffhanger…BUCKLE UP!

This world that B.L. Lewis has built is something beyond most books I’ve read my whole life. The picture that is painted literally transports you to this world and you feel like you’re right there with the characters.

Speaking of characters…let’s dive in!

Emrys: Favorite side character. He brings so much to this book and I love his and Winters friendship.

Winter: as always badass as hell! And only getting better!! She is so fierce with her self and her loyalty to those she loves!!

West: I LOVE HIM!! He is so rough and tumble but also so tender in the way he loves. He’s still hot headed as all get out in this book but honestly that is why we love him!!

Everett: I loved Ev from the second he was introduced into this series and let me tell you this book didn’t disappoint with Ev!! He had me drooling!!

This book also touched on depression and anxiety and as someone who struggles with both and some days getting out of bed seems like the hardest task on the planet, having that showcased in a book made me feel and even deeper connection to the story. It was beautiful and I’m so glad it was included!!

The ending. THE ENDING!! I screamed. Literally screamed!! I need the 4th book like yesterday!

I want to rate this more than 5 stars!!

You can always count on B to take you for a ride, and the third in this series was no exception. Unhinged, chaotic and emotionally charged - I had my teeth sunk in from start to finish.

The pacing is fast, and there is so much happening - just be ready for the cliffhanger. When do we get the finale?!

I love these characters. West and Winter feel like coming home and I loved seeing the depth B pours into them. Both had moments I wanted to shake them, while also petting their hair. Thank goodness for Ev. He’s uncouth, incorrigible and the perfect balance to West’s hot temper. I’m admittedly not usually a fan of “why choose”, but here, it just works. And who wouldn’t want two amazingly attractive and smitten wolves fawning over them? Winter, can we share too? Don’t stab me.

We see so many more facets of our MCs in this book. The character reflection and growth is exponential. They’re going to be unstoppable when they learn to stop standing in their own way.

Also loved seeing more on page time with some of my favorite side characters. Sweet Emry’s is a show stealer.

As mentioned, this story ends on a cliffhanger and it had me wanting to throw my kindle and scream. B perfectly set up for the finale and rest of the prophecy.

Run, don’t walk, to catch up before The Golden Goddess releases in March. You’re going to love this chaotic ride.

Why choose MMF
Cliffhanger
🌶️🌶️🌶️.5
Wizard of oz elements

I am really enjoying this series and I can see the growth of the author as the series progresses too which makes me so happy! The plot is feeling a lot more fluid and we ended on a legitimate cliffhanger that leaves me very excited for the final book.

One thing I have loved about this is the character depth of pretty much every character. Side characters are written with a respect to the individual and aren’t just there to move the plot.

I also enjoy the whimsical aspects of the story and while I struggled to see the “wizard of oz” themes in the first two books, it’s starting to stand out a lot more now. This installment had a lot less wild intensity like the first two but there was a lot more character and plot development laid down here.

For me, this is a very solid 4⭐️ read. What holds me back from 5 is just that while I’m propelled through it because I’m enjoying it, I’m not emotionally invested for some reason. I live to feel the emotions of the characters and I’m not getting that here. It’s well written, and the plot is fun. However, I think there are plot points that are there to add complexity but could actually be left out in the grand scheme. Still very excited for the finale!

This is the 3rd book in this series. And O M G ! BL did her thing in this book.
I appreciate how she handled Winter, West & even Everett's trauma and past hurt. West & Everett are SO sexy, how could she choose? And why should she? She IS The Golden Goddess.
I do adore how these three grow, love, and heal together in this book.
How they include so many of their friends in their "circle" Their circle is so strong - full of love, loyalty, and the unspoken knowledge that they all would give their life and/or kill for Winter ( and each other ).
This is the type of friend circle that we all need.
Found family is more special and stronger than blood family most of the time. Because you choose each other.
There are definitely some twists and turns that I did not see coming.
And you are left on a MAJOR cliffhanger.
I have no clue how I am to survive waiting on book 4.
I received an advance review copy at no cost and am leaving this review voluntarily.

This series is just getting better and better!!

I love how this series captures mental health, particularly depression, so well. Anyone who has experienced it will absolutely identify with either Winter or West (or both). Their emotions are raw, not watered down or magically better like so many fantasy books tend to do.

I also appreciate the insight into what it is like being a woman. There are a lot of moments that again, could be made less of an issue but B tackles them instead.

The other characters like Ev, Emrys, Mags, and Mel keep this story a little bit lighter and show the importance of having support. They bring comedic moments when needed. Ev also helps bring the spice. I absolutely love the dynamics all of the characters bring to one another's lives.

Also the CLIFFHANGER!!!! Which is all I will say on that.

I received this as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this review.

Ummmm hello? I’m so thankful I was gifted an ARC copy of this book early because I was itching to dive back into this amazing world that BL Lewis has created! The characters are so deeply connected, given so much substance, and each character truly adds something to the story for better or for worse!

I loved seeing more of the dynamics at play than we have been getting little snippets of from the begging of the series and truly seeing how things are evolving! The ending truly killed me though because the cliffhanger is brutal! I absolutely devoured this book and have no regrets about that though!

Truly this series has my heart and has been my top series of 2025! I can not wait to see what happens next and how the world and characters continue to grow and evolve!

Yet another flawless sequel in The Wolf Queen Chronicles. This romantasy series continues to deliver the perfect balance of magic, romance, humor, and darkness.

The story kicks off strong with a spicy opening scene, which immediately pulled me back into the world I’ve missed so much.
The dry humor continues to shine and adds a welcome contrast to the deepening, darker elements of the main storyline. I loved seeing Emrys take on a more involved role, and the character dynamics feel richer than ever.
The FMC’s inner struggles are written with such depth and authenticity—it made her journey incredibly compelling.
The development of the MFM relationship was handled beautifully and felt natural rather than forced. The pacing never drags, and the story remains captivating from start to finish.

Honestly, I loved everything about this book and can’t wait for what comes next.

ARC review! ✨

You're always going to be on a wild ride with B.L Lewis! Laughing, crying, side eyeing and blushing!

Another incredible instalment!!

Winter and West's story was challenging, deeper and complicated to then started to break even. The hurt, the jealously but letting her choose her own while he quietly is hurting, broke me.

If you liked Everett before, this book you're going to fall hard! I think hes my favorite and i've enjoyed seeing him shine, break and love.

I thought I had things worked out and I was so wrong and I adore books that surprise me!!

I've loved getting so much character depth for each person, its just the right amount that you don't get confused or lost, like a lot of other books i've read.

For me, this was my favourite book so far!!

This series has quickly become one of my all-time favorites! As a fan of witches and werewolves, I found the journey of Wes and Winter to be captivating. Their relationship is anything but smooth, yet the intense chemistry between them—and with Wes's omega, Everette—never fails to deliver. The bonds of love and commitment grow stronger as they navigate their challenges together. The depth of their feelings is truly beautiful, and together they confront the obstacles that lie ahead. The secretes that were buried to whom Winter really was have come to light and oh my what a secrete it is.

I thoroughly appreciate the contexts of learning to live and fight for the stabilization of mental health, not only for yourself but for those dearest to you. Winter learning to give up control and West learning to listen to those around him were integral components to this third installment of The Wolf Queen Chronicles. There was a delightful twist toward the end that will be fun to unravel in the next book.

This is the 3rd book in The Wolf Queen Chronicles and let me say that I am ready for book 4. This book took me for a ride. Everett, Westley, Winter and Mags did not let me down in this book. The banter, the love, and being there for one another had me laughing, made me shocked, and at one point the book had me pacing because my brain was like “WHAT???”. This book had unexpected twists and turns that made me want to keep on reading until I found out what happened. The ending was something I didn’t see coming and I NOW NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN WINTERS ADVENTURE NEXT.

SO PLEASE, let me get book four lol.

Thanks to the author for the ARC!

Wow wow wow what a journey this story has taken me on. Fabulous third installment for this series! The prophecy not complete in the last book and we got the next half in this one. The relationships between West, Winter and Everett are blooming and deepening. The side characters are phenomenal and integral to the story. And that cliffhanger omfg 🤯 Can't wait for the final book to come out and find out how this story ends!
