A Billionaire’s Christmas Promise: One Christmas. One Promise. One Forever

Rate this book
I thought I had everything. Until I met the one thing I could never buy — love.
I’m Jex Hamilton — CEO, billionaire, and the man people call ruthless.
When my father died, I inherited the empire he built… and the loneliness that came with it.
Power became my armor. Success, my addiction.
Then I saw her — Lexi Rose — standing on the deck of a friend’s yacht, laughing like she owned the sun.
She didn’t know who I was.
Didn’t care.
And that’s what unraveled me.
Her world was faith, family, and small joys — things I’d traded for boardrooms and balance sheets.
I thought I could win her over with wealth. Instead, she taught me that the richest man in the world is the one who loves deeply, lives humbly, and believes again.
This is my story — not of fortune, but of faith.
Not of luxury, but of love.
And it all began one winter night… when God decided my life needed a miracle named Lexi Rose.

Good

Hmm not sure quite how to review this book. It felt like 3 different stories in one book. ! It was bizarre, felt like an AI generated story from concepts. I returned in several occasions to previous sections of the book to check continuity and consistency. Then the end was rushed? Not sure I would recommend this book, it's too confused.

It felt like two separate stories in one book. The first part of the book was engaging with great characters that had depth and were well written. It was engaging and drew me in. The second part of the book was completely different. The story was no longer consistent. Family connections weren’t the same in part one and part two, names were not the same for the same characters. It just became confusing trying to figure out what was happening. Even key relationship moments do not line up. This story stacked up to be a wonderful romance. It missed the mark. 3.5 stars

Jex and Lexi caught me by surprise with this heartfelt story. It took a minute to get into it but once I became engaged their relationship transformation had me cheering them on. Lexi taught Jex how to live and love again.

The story was a little confusing, hard to follow characters. Could have been a great story, just needs a little editing.

DNF’d this book because it was too disjointed and choppy and didn’t make sense. I just couldn’t finish reading this.
