I was pleasantly surprised by this one! Not sure if it was because of the flashbacks or not, but the first half of the volume or so felt a bit dragging for me. Luckily it picked up then and I was invested in the story.

I thought this would be a boring read because of those flashbacks of the Vanadis and a bit comic exaggeration of the two main protagonist. Nevertheless, flashbacks deserves an applause for saving and giving flesh to the story of this book. The end parts are satisfying and the artwork with lots of no text pages are hands down cool.

Been dying to get my hands on some new Gundam material! The story so far has quite a bit of flashbacks but it is worked into the story nicely and helps flesh it out a bit. The art is definitely spot on.
