Meet Jase Spencer. He’s just your everyday kinda guy, a hard-partying, hard-living professional hockey player. Nothin’ special. Good-looking and ripped, the man has moves, on and off the ice. But, he’s also jaded and alone, and tired of living out of suitcases. For as long as he can remember, hockey has ruled his life. He’s chased pucks across more than a dozen countries, and had his pick of women in any town he visits. Then he met HER. And now, he’s about to turn his life upside down because of HER. Because he can’t get the one night of passion he shared with a smokin’ hot biker babe out of his head. Unfortunately, DeeDee wasn’t interested in anything long term, and she’s gone before he’s ready. Life becomes complicated and difficult when Jase is traded to another team, and as he tries to settle in his new hometown, everything seems to conspire against him, determined to go wrong. Dancing around their mutual attraction, one day he and DeeDee find themselves face-to-face and body-to-body, but will they be able to set aside their past pain and focus on the future they could make together? Can he make her reconsider her relationship fears and trust him? Jase is on a mission to show her what they have together is worth fighting for, to convince her to take a chance on him. His attempts will bring him squarely into the path of a motorcycle club, earning him the attention of Mason, president of the Rebel Wayfarers MC. Jase says, “Bring it on.” You miss 100% of the shots you never take. – Wayne Gretzky *Please note this book is part of the Rebel Wayfarers MC book series, featuring characters from additional books in the series. If the books are read out of order, you’ll twig to spoilers for the other books, so going back to read the skipped titles won’t have the same angsty reveals. I strongly recommend you read them in order. WOW!!! Another amazing book in the Rebel Wayfarers saga!! I absolutely loved it and I honestly didn’t think I would because I didn’t know what to make of Jase in the beginning. But , then slowly I began to understand his character and I fell in love with Jase!! How can you not?

Jase has been added to my hall of fame book boyfriends list because he is the most patient, understanding, passionate, romantic, funny & goofy, sweet & sexy, protective and endearing man. And he is a motorcycle riding hot hockey player with humor and brains, there is so much to love about Jase!

DeeDee is just as sweet but much more reserved and quiet. She doesn't share her thoughts and holds a lot in which causes much of her turmoil in the book. I loved how the Rebels looked after her after the death of her husband and child, throughout the entire book the mc club comes together to help their own and it’s an incredible testament to how families should be. DeeDee has a big heart and she learns how to love even bigger when she allows Jase back in her life.

This is simply a story about love, love in all its forms. From the romantic love of Jase and Dee, to the bond the brothers in the mc have, it is all about the love of family and friends. It was very well researched and written and I give MariaLisa deMora huge accolades with this series, so well done lady!!!!

So, I tried another one. It went off the rails at about 70%. The author starts with an interesting storyline. She develops decent characters. Then, after all this work -- because her stories are rather lengthy, she takes them into "Stupid World." I can't figure out if this is intended, or is she just meanders her way to this place where only the stupid follow her logic. Not sure, but it craped out at 70% this time. Probably because I was prepared this time.

So, not reading anymore by her. I'd say, not reading more until she gets a good editor, but doubt this will ever happen, so saying .. Nope. In the end, it seemed like a total waste of time. Fair warning.

[Not so] Happy Reading!!

We’re up to book 4 in the series now and taking a sidestep from the MC in Jase’s story. Jase isn’t a brother, he’s a hockey player and friend of the club. DeeDee is a widowed Ol’ Lady who Jase met at a Rebel get together and the two hit it off. The sparks fly and the couple seem great together, to Jase at least, but DeeDee feels extremely uncomfortable at first with the age difference between the two (she’s 22 years older than Jase) and fights it. When Jase makes a huge change in his life, will DeeDee finally see just how serious he is about her? Will she finally move on from thinking of herself as Winger’s Ol’ Lady and start seeing herself as Jase’s?

This was a slow burner for me, however the story was well written and getting to see more of the members from an outsiders POV was a nice change. For those thinking why is an MC book about a hockey player though? Don’t worry, the Rebels are still well and truly involved in Jase’s book and the MC action/drama makes it’s presence felt in places and increases towards the end.

Another very enjoyable read in the Rebel Wayfarers series and I’m looking forward to reading about Gunny next.

This was a very interesting read. It broke a few of society's rules which I always love. What I think I love the most is how Jase handles having children in every way. He really is a rear beauty. DeeDee is just as loving & beautiful at heart as well. She adopted a whole MC & didn't even realize it. These two have hearts of steel!! Their love for each other & others around them are what I love the most!!

Review for Jase (Rebel Wayfarers MC #4) by MariaLisa deMora

Jase is the fourth book in the Rebel Wayfarers MC series by MariaLisa deMora. These books can all be read as stand-alone novels, but are all incredible stories so I would suggest reading them all in order. This series is definitely not what is expected with typical MC books — we expect bad men who do bad things and treat women badly… they are famous for the men you hate to love. deMora broke out of that pigeonhole and found her own way by creating a world that has ‘real’ people, emotions, reactions, and scenarios.

I can imagine that this world is closer to how a real MC is verses the dozens of other books that are out there. And for that, I commend deMora for breaking out. It’s obvious that she did a ton of research in getting even the smallest details right. Not only that, but there is a real passion behind her words that pulls you right into the middle of the story. As you read … you live the character’s lives. You hurt when they hurt, love as they love, and fight down to the very marrow of your bones right alongside them.

“Fate’s a fickle mistress, Jase. Let the bitch have her secrets or she gets pissed off. If I’ve learned one thing, it’s that we just have to take what she gives us; the happy is entirely up to us. I could never be glad I lost my husband and daughter, but now I can’t imagine my life without you."

DeeDee is Rebel family. Her old man was a patched member of the Rebel’s and when he died the club stepped up and took care of her. Lord, this woman. My heart ached for her throughout the entire book even when she exasperated me half to death. She’s a heroine you’ll root for and want to throttle when she flounders. Just like any woman she doubts herself and after years of seeing things one way, it’s hard to change that mindset. I may have cried a time or two — it’s almost impossible not to sympathize with her and I believe a lot of readers are going to find a bit of themselves wrapped into her personality which just drags you deeper into the story.

“You are a vixen,” he accused with a smile, pushing one knee between her thighs, forcing her legs open so he could slip between them, pressing pelvis to pelvis. “Distracting me again, this is my workplace, woman. Let me work."

Jase. Have you seen the cover? I had that picture in my head the entire time I was reading and let me tell you, it was a joyful thing. (Much respect to the cover model — I don’t mean to make you a piece of meat, but dang man you are fine.)

Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, Jase. He is a hockey player. A kick-butt and take names amazing hockey player. Not only that, but he is nice. He isn’t a pig like a lot of athletes or book boyfriends are … no you will love him and you won’t feel bad about it one tiny ounce. He’s the BBF that you actually wish was real because he’d be a perfect man for just about every woman out there. His pursuit of DeeDee is panty melting and the chemistry between them burns up the sheets.

“Baby,” he said softly, “in the moment is all we have. It’s all we’ll ever have. We go moment to moment, in love, out of love, together, apart…
it’s all in the moment….”

Jase (Rebel Wayfarers MC #4) is one of the most beautifully written romance novels I have read this year. It is so much more than I expected and it will stay with me for a long time to come. Somehow deMora found a perfect balance for a sports romance and MC romance without making one overpower the other while at the same time finding the right angsty romance to fulfilling romance ratio. Five brilliant stars for Rebel Wayfarers MC #4 and four drenched panties for Jase. eh?

**I would also like to note that I binge read this book — I literally couldn’t put it down and sent the author a love/hate message blaming her for being most of the night devouring her words. So worth it.**

I put off reading this book for a long time because of the hockey factor, which was really stupid!!! To anyone reading this review, this is an MC book with a hockey player!!! And it is one of the best books (in my top 10, for sure) I've read this year! I freaking loved Jase!!! Loved his interactions with the club from the very beginning! DeeDee I had some issues with for a large portion of the story. Then I finally understood. And Jase's love for DeeDee was So beautiful!! And the twists toward the end were outstanding!!!!

JASE JASE JASE :)

I love me a bad a$$ yet loving hockey player turned biker !! I will first admit that I have not read the series in order , I know I am horrible. I signed on because I love a good MC series and love discovering new authors meaning I didn't really look too much into the books lengths. Having said that I do love a long book , 300-500 pages used to be the norm. Being a blogger I need to pay attention because I read book 1 and had to go right to book 4 so I could get my stuff posted on time !! I don't feel confused or lost , the characters make themselves known and the books have tons of details and even though a ton goes on in the book the stories are fast paced and you can soak in the details during some of the down time. I was a little shocked by Dee-Dee's age , it kind of made me laugh , I am nearing 40 so I don't want to say 50's is old but in book world it seems ancient !! But hey good for her she is hot and knows how to satisfy her man !! There is set up for more stories and they seem like they will be amazing so I look forward to not only reading Slate and Bear's stories but to go forward with Gunny and whoever else comes after !!

Dee-Dee's story is devastating , losing her old man and daughter 2 years ago has left her wounded and unable to even think about moving on. She keeps busy at the club with her family and was lucky enough to have her daughters BFF , Melanie , to be with her. they are like a mother daughter duo and it warms my heart for D to be so needed. She will always be under the protection of the club and although they want her to move on and be happy none of them want to lose her to a new life. Perfect for them the star hockey player with connections to the Chicago piece of the Rebels MC is on the prowl for D after a meeting her and falling for her one night. D has a lot of hang ups and honestly it does get a bit annoying. Once she finds her solid ground there are so many other struggles for her to face beyond Jase and their age difference. D may find her HEA and you will be thrilled with the things she is given but it is not an easy trip. There is much drama and unknown that comes up. The Rebels are a great MC and I love their connections and love for each other.

Jase is a force to be reckon with on and off the ice !! He has played in Chicago for a couple years now but for 8 years prior he was in Russia having the time of his life playing hockey and loving on some woman. He isn't the typical manwhore he is subtle and honestly from the start of this story he is set on being with D. Originally from Canada he is sadly estranged from his sister who took off from home at 18 but yet has a great relationship with the rest of his family. Now Jase has no problem showing his emotions and expressing his feelings BUT D is so very resistant and more than once she leaves him hanging and again it is annoying but I love that Jase doesn't give up. He changes his life because he wants to be the one for D. Again it is a road full of hurdles between the two of but in the midst of that and after we get his sisters story and plenty of other drama that will keep you occupied and on the edge waiting for what is next !!

Jase and D are amazing together. Their chemistry , their emotion and the things they accomplish together. I adore them as a couple and was amazed at the road they are taking now as a family !! My only issue at times was that something would be going on and then right out of nowhere the chapter would break and it was like a tease to not see how the event would play out !! Glad I have gotten to know the Rebels and have yet to decide if I can even pick a fave !!

I do believe that I now have a favorite book in the series. I have loved each book in the Rebel Wayfarers MC series but Jase has surpassed them all. Ms. deMora has managed to combine just the right amount of sports romance and MC romance to give me the best of both worlds with this book. As expected, the author adds some seriously hot sex scenes between a sexy as sin hockey player and a sassy yet vulnerable biker babe that nearly had my Kindle overheating. All that along with some MC action, humor, family-building, and appearances by characters from previous books made for an engrossing read.

As it has been several months since I read the first three books in the series, I only vaguely remembered Jase and had no recollection of DeeDee when I began the book. But this mattered very little as each character quickly pulled me into their story on their own merit. One of the many things I enjoy about Ms. deMora’s writing is that she starts each couples’ story at the beginning, before they meet, so that if you pick up a book in the middle of the series you will know all you need to know about the main players in that installment. Despite knowing this about her books, I was not prepared to start off Jase by crying, yet that is exactly what I did when I read DeeDee’s story; in a matter of a few pages, I was heartbroken for her and understood the driving force behind her behavior. I also knew that Jase was going to have a very hard road ahead of him if he intended to make a life with DeeDee, and that was before I was even aware of their age difference. Despite Jase’s repeated assertions throughout the book, I understood her reservations about getting involved with a man 22 years younger than her – a man young enough to be her son. While the support that Jase received from the club was vital, it was his mother’s acceptance and guidance that gave Jase the encouragement he really needed to pursue DeeDee when she kept running and boy could that woman run. Fortunately Jase proved that he could be just as persistent and determined off the ice as he was on the ice and even though it took him longer to make DeeDee his, he finally succeeded.

Another aspect of the author’s writing style I enjoy is that Jase, like the other books in the series, unfolds over several years. This allows the author to interweave the stories in such a way that you get to experience scenes playing out from different points of view, yet doing so without feeling too lost because you don’t know what’s going on as you are only aware of what’s occurring from that character’s perspective. I got to “revisit” scenes from previous books to learn what part Jase played in them and will admit that I was both surprised, yet not to see the level of commitment he brought to the Rebel Wayfarers when he became a member (yeah, that was news). Getting to see the connection that Jase now has to Gunny left me chomping at the bit for the next book in the series, but even my desire for Gunny is overshadowed by my NEED for Mason. The continued revelations of just how much an integral part that Mason plays in the lives of his friends and families has me wanting him to find his much deserved happiness, no matter how painful I know that journey will be for him. No doubt about it, Jase is my favorite to-date but I look forward to seeing what Ms. deMora has in store for the rest of the Rebel Wayfarers.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Hockey player Jase has been hanging out with some of the Rebel MC ever since his friend Daniel started dating Mica. Jase falls for DeeDee but she is ashamed of the 22 year age gap.

Her past and losing her husband Winger and daughter means she is closed off but can he bring her forward?

I liked Jase but she was a little annoying. Long and drawn out in places with an ok ending.

Josie's 4.5 Star Review

I really love the Rebel Wayfarers MC books, but I want to go on the record and say Jase’s book is the best. Jase’s story is told in multiple POV’s and the story is sweet, tender and wonderfully done. I love MC books but I really love how this author added Hockey, a total alpha bad ass and really hot sex also. The author did an amazing job in developing Dee Dee and Jase’s relationship. I loved how it gradually progressed. I loved reading how their relationship played out.

Jase OMG, I want him! Jase is about 20 years younger than Dee Dee but he is so mature you don’t notice the age difference. He knows what he wants and he won’t stop until he get it. The minute he sees Dee Dee, Jase knows she is different. Everything about her calls to him. After meeting her the first time, she is all he can think about. They live in different states but he knows they will see each other again the next time their chapters meet. When that happens, nothing will stop him. Jase’s determination to win Dee Dee is so sweet. He’s dominant but tender. He knows she lost her husband a year ago but he is not willing to walk away. Even when she pushes him away he won’t back down. He is patient and buying his time.

Dee Dee is a sweet character. Even though she is not really part of the Rebel Wayfarers since her husband’s death they still claim her has theirs. However, because they have been there for her and her daughter, she helps them anyway she can. On a run she meets Jase. Jase is younger than she is, but he is everything she looks for in a man. Even though she feels a strong connection to him she is skeptical of seeking a relationship with him due to their age difference and her feelings of guilt for her dead husband. Dee Dee’s character is indecisive but the more she sees Jase’s determination the more she sees him as different.

The relationship they have is not easy but with the support and love of the Rebel Wayfarers they come to realize that they can be more. I loved reading both of their thoughts. Their feelings were sincere, honest and genuine. I felt Dee Dee’s apprehension and understood her feelings but when she finally conceded things just kicked off. I loved this story. I loved how natural this couple’s relationship felt and we get to see how the other characters from previous books in the series are doing which is an added bonus. I can’t wait to see what the next book will bring.

A hockey player turned biker...not bad. Well we all that love and are committed MC reader fans know that you don't need to have a shitty childhood to become part of that special brotherhood, you just have to have that spark, that something special and Jase had that in spades. He was committed, loyal to a fault and knew when to keep his mouth shut and mind his own business, even when he felt left out. He was a good man, a perfect fit for the Rebels.

I must admit that I while the end result of this story was amazing the journey getting there was frustrating as hell because DeeDee was one annoying female! I thought with her being older she wouldn't play the type of games we usually get from the young crowds but man was I wrong because all this lady did was play with Jase's emotions. The fucked up part was that Mason threatened Jase! Told him to leave her alone, not to play with her feelings and yadda yadda yadda! WTF! All along he needed to save those threats for DeeDee because she was the one playing the games and hurting Jase every chance, every opportunity she got! That bitch was ruthless! The only one that got it and had his back was Slate and I thought that was super amazing, he totally let DeeDee have it, ripped her a new one! I was like 'Yeah..take that bitch!'

I understand that she lost Winger and Lockee but by the time she hooked up with Jase, several years had passed so her reasons for turning him down, running from him, playing hard to get, all that nonsense had nothing to do with the loss of her family. In fact I wasn't even quite sure why she was acting like a jackass because she never really gave a reason until halfway through the book: the age difference, she's 52, he's 30. That's better than him being like 18 or something...lol. Sighs...at the end of the day she was just basically running for nothing...end of story!

One thing I didn't understand was the story behind Jonny, if he was Judge's son, doesn't that make him Eddie's nephew? How does him being Judge's son make him related to Mason and subsequently to DeeDee since Mason and DeeDee are cousins? That didn't make any sense to me, still doesn't????? Anyway Judge is still missing right? This is so confusing...sighs...

Moving on to Gunny....

I was given a copy of the book from the author for a honest review. Jase (Rebel Wayfares MC, #4) by MariaLisa de Mora is the next installment in the rebel series. This is Jase’s story. We met Jase from book 1. Jase is Daniel’s best friend and a fellow hockey player on the semi pro team that Daniel owns. Jase is not a member of the club but since the team named Jackson as the team’s bar the players are always around the club members. One day Jase meets DeeDee. She throws him for a loop. As an older woman she has been through quite a bit. Her husband and daughter were killed in a freak car accident. She is trying to get herself back together as the brothers at the club help. Jase is the first guy she has been with since her husband was killed. She is trying to understand her place in the club since her husband was killed and is worried if she will still have a home since she lives at the clubhouse. Jase feels deep for DeeDee and wants her regardless to the age difference. Jase went so far as to get traded to the team in the town she lives in order to be closer to her. As in the previous books the previous characters are mentioned throughout the story as they happened in regards to Jase and DeeDee, so we are able to get our fix of the other characters. We still get to see more of Mason and his many sides. Not only do we get to see the relationship develop between Jase and DeeDee but we see how Jase becomes a brother in the Rebel Wayfares. Jase is very interesting and his life has many facets. I give Jas e 4.5 stars.

I just finished Jase and I just loved it! Biker book, I'm so there!!! This is apart of the Rebel Wayfarers series and to me you have to read them all to get the full effect of the characters. This is Jase and DeeDee. As you know from the other stories, they meet by chance and it is instant for them however DeeDee has been through a traumatic situation, ther old man Winger and daughter Lockee were killed in a car accident a few years ago so this has definitely put a hinder on them becoming something. Plus she is 20 years older then Jase so why would he want her? Jase is instantly smitten. He doesn't care about her age. He sees something in her that effects him and he has never felt that before so it's time for him to finally take his shot with her. The are other obstacles that are made known in the story so you have to read to see what happens.

I was pulled into this story from the very beginning and I didn't want to put it down. This story, hell this whole series has so much going for it. Awesome characters, awesome storyline, the writing is just so good. You just can't help but fall for these characters and want nothing but the best for them. I'm just in awe. I'm going to be honest. I binged these books and now I don't have anymore yet to read and I just feel so lost...I don't know what on do with myself. I'm just going to sit here on pins and needles and wait for Gunny.

Keep the Rebels coming!!! Though Mason and Slate are my favorites, I'm starting to love each of the Rebel members more and more as I get to know them in their stories. Jase's story is no exception. Though he's a friend to the Rebels, he's close enough to the club to be aware of the lifestyle and have a form a brotherhood with them.

I loved Jase. He was comical in the previous books and still just as comical in his own story but we got to see the serious side of him. How strong of a man he is with his fight to be with Dee Dee and his being a friend to the Rebels.

He was relentless in his pursuit of Dee Dee and it was the SWEETEST thing. He knew what he wanted and he was willing to do what he needed in order to get it. And I loved the fact that the Rebels were pulling for a "citizen" to be with Dee Dee. With a significant age difference, Dee Dee has a hard time accepting a relationship with Jase, no matter how badly she wants it. She pushes him away every chance she gets in hopes that he'll move on and find someone his age. But Jase isn't having any of it.

Jase's and Dee Dee's story was such a treat. It didn't get too dark into the typical MC life storylines but was just enough to keep everything interesting and not overshadow Jase and Dee Dee's story all together. It was a great read.

Jase is just normal guy hes a hockey player he likes to party but hes tired of his lifestyle he feels lonely and tired of never settling down in one place his home is a suitcase.Hockey s been his life for so long different countries, different women until he meets Dee Dee she turns his world on its axsis they shared one night of passion but then she was gone and he cant get her out of his mind.DeeDee doesnt do commitment shes still struggling with a loss and the fact that Jase is younger than her.
Jase one again has to re settle when hes traded to another team.Things dont to plan and Jase feels everything is going wrong.Coming face to face with Dee Dee again Jase is determined to win her over even though she does everything she can to push him away.He sets out to show her they can be good together. In doing this it brings Jase to toRebel MC Club and Mason the club president. Will he hp bring them together? Can Dee Dee put the past behind her and take a chance on love with Jase?

I loved this book it’s a sport /mc romance Jase is the hot sexy hockey player determined to get his woman, the scenes between them are super hot I loved all the characters the book was fast paced and drew you in from the first pages I found it hard to stop reading once id started I look forward to the next book from this talented author.

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested. The story has laughs, pain, grief, love, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Mica (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #1)
Slate (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #2)
Bear (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #3)

This is DeeDee and Jase’s story. Jase would do anything for DeeDee but she thinks he is too young for her. Jase needs to be closer to her so he can win her over. With that in mind he transfers teams. But just when they start to connect she shuts him out. He is frustrated and so are the MC Brothers. When he gets hurt will she finally set up and admit that she wants him forever? Or will she just keep pushing him away. Will Jase risk reject again for another chance with her?

I loved both of these characters. Jase is sweet but tough. You can feel his frustration throughout the story. DeeDee is strong and sweet but also so frustrating. As always you get a ton of the side characters in this story so it’s not just Jase and DeeDee. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

It is obvious that this author is very talented and her writing style is without a doubt is fantastic! The author wrote the perfect amount, drawing me in to the scenes and allowing the reader to feel a strong connection. A great author writes amazing supporting characters to not only suck us in to the story, but to really bring out the personalities in the main characters making you feel like you can relate and want to be living in their world. In my opinion, MICA remains the best out of this serie due to the mystery, secrecy and drama.
I loved reading about Jace and fell in love with his determination to prove to DeeDee of his feelings was sincere, honest and genuine. Dee Dee’s character is indecisive and selfish yet appears to be preteen at times. Many times I wanted to hug and squeeze her. And other times she had me wanting to squeeze and shake her and yell WHAT ARE YOU DOING WOMAN?!?! The supporting characters were a amazing providing us with what’s to come in the next books of this series. I truly love that Mason, Slate, and Ruby plays such a big part in their story and aid in getting them together. I do not know who gets their story told next, but I know I will love it because DeMora is the writer;)  KUDOS!!!!

Jase Spencer is a professional hockey player. He’s introduced as Daniel’s best friend and teammate in the first book in this series, Mica. In that book, you see him as a hard-working and even harder-playing hockey player. He’s enjoying the spoils of his career and making no excuses about it. He loves his life, but he wants more than a string of one-night stands. Jase isn’t a member of the MC, but the unofficial team bar, Jackson’s is the MC’s, and his team loves the comradery there, and they all get along great.

DeeDee has suffered loss in her past, and she’s not looking to complicate her settled life.

Jase meets DeeDee, and there’s an instant attraction. After a night together, DeeDee decides to move on, but she’s gotten under Jase’s skin. Clearly the sex was hot, but DeeDee has issues with Jase being more than 20 years younger than her. Jase doesn’t see that as a problem, and he sets out to show her that it isn’t.

It was sweet to see Jase court DeeDee, and she deserved it all. This isn’t a typical MC book with the usual “club business” going on, but you still get to see the gang and catch up on what’s happening with them.

Jase is the fourth book in the Rebel Wayfarer’s MC series.

I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 4 stars.

5 Stars From Sammy's Book Obsession!

MY THOUGHTS~

I was provided with a Review Copy/ARC for review.

An author that can seamlessly combine my two favorite sub-genres that happen to be so much different from each other, is an absolute winner in my book! Bikers/MC and Sports...not a typical combination. Amazing though nonetheless!

While Slate (Rebel Wayfarers #2) has been my favorite so far, this one blew me away and I think it's right up there with Slate! Jase was a previously established character that was introduced in the very first book in this series (Mica), so I loved how developed he already was by the start of this book as well as how much more in depth we got to know him throughout it. The characters in this book and series are just so well written, developed, and real! I love that! To say that author MariaLisa deMora is extremely talented in her writing skills is an understatement.
I totally cannot wait for the next book in this series, Gunny, to be available. Gunny is an intriguing character to say the least. We got a glimpse of him in Jase and I can't wait to get the rest of his story!

This is a re read but my rating and review stays the same. Baby Dinosaurs.......RAWWWRRRHHH!!!!!.....LMAO. I haven't laughed this much reading a book in quite a while.....so firstly thanks for that. eh!!!! Being Canadian I can honestly say that I don't say "eh" but I know they do in some areas. Ok, apart from the humour the story of Jace and Dee-Dee was awesome. I like that for a change the man was younger but its no big thang. Dee-Dee has suffered a lot and I understood all of her trepiditions but my heart went out to Jace. Thank the Lord he is patient and wanted her as much as he did. This one had everything in it, humour, love, sex, violence and it really pulled at my heartstrings with the kids. Quite the twist with little Jonny. Well Done MariaLisa - they keep getting better and better. Yes, Jace is defintely up there in the fav book-boyfriend list. As much as I'm looking forward to reading about Mason I almost don't want to because then it will be over - as far as finding out about Mason that is. Looking forward to reading about Gunny and Shar. He is a very intriguing character and since he's ex-military I know it will have something to do with that.

Jase is completely different from the other books in this series. Jase is a hockey player and not a part of any MC. But, after falling for DeeDee, the widow of a patched member, he gains the attention of Club President, Mason. I loved Mason’s appearance in this book! The way he handles these two is pure perfection!

Normally, changing POVs annoy me. But, it only enhanced and made the story that much better! My heart broke for DeeDee – even though there were times where I wanted to smack her upside the head! You wouldn’t know that she is much older than Jase by the way she acted. His sweetness with her was such a turn on…I want a Jase of my own! Even though he is adorably sweet, he is also a true alpha that knows what he wants. And he wants DeeDee for his own.

deMora is fantastic at storytelling. I absolutely love that these aren’t your standard macho MC men, but a group of guys who know how to treat their women and what is important in their lives. I LOVED this book!

Mason strikes again! How is it that he knew a hockey player would end up being a needed addition to the MC? MC Whisperer I tell you! He just knows.
Jase is a good guy. He has a close knit group of friends, and he is a great hockey player. But is that all there is? He didn’t know he was missing anything in his life until he met DeeDee.
DeeDee does her best to put Jase off. Pushes him away, refuses to answer calls, tells him he needs someone younger than her. But no matter how hard she tries to stay away, she knows he is her forever.
Of course in comes Mason to save the day.
These characters are very engaging. I love that Mason, Slate, and Ruby play such a big part in their story and are all pulling for them to get their HEA.
Not sure who gets their story next, but I know I will love it!

Received an ARC copy from author for a honest review. OMG!! Freaking awesome! Had my attention from the book cover. Storyline is entertaining, sweet, passionate hot and so realistic. A breathtaking beautiful emotional rollercoaster read that will have you laughing, smiling and crying. Jase has it all or so it seems. He's a professional hockey player who has lived the good life of fame, parties and ladies. Despite all this he realizes how truly alone he is when he meets Dee Dee, has an amazing night of passion and doesn't forget her. DeeDee does her best to push Jase away using all kinds of excuses including the age difference but he doesn't give up without fighting. Love how the author interacts the sports theme and the MC together along with the characters from the previous books. Would definitely recommend!!! Can't wait for Gunny!!!

Jase is the 4th book in the Wayfarers MC series and I was happy to see that Jase got his own book. Also, that Dee Dee got her HEA. At first I was dreading another book of 400 pages but, let me tell you I was quickly sucked into this story! So far MariaLisa deMora has done a wonderful job with her story telling and let me tell you I am a fan of the Wayfarers MC!

I loved Jase and Dee Dee. Dee Dee is 52 and Jase is 30. He is chasing her and she is running! But, he does catch her! Jase is her daughter’s age. Dee Dee is attracted and they have had some amazing sex. And, I say if a 30 year old man is attracted to a 52 year old woman don’t run just go for it!

Loved this book, loving this series and I can fortunately start reading Gunny which is the next book in this series. Jase was an ARC and I was gifted it for an honest review. I give Jase 5 stars. Loved this book!
