I guess Vol 1 + 2 weren't ready for publication, so this is actually the first published volume of Dick Briefer reprints. Scanned from the original comics, it's a bit rough at times but most pages look nice. I prefer this style over recoloring.

Frankenstein is created by an evil scientist inspired by the original novel. He has a serum that turns a bunny evil, so decides to inject his monster with the same serum -- well, it backfires! Instead of making Frankenstein evil it turns him good. What follows are a bunch of goofy silly stories with some fantastic creative artwork.

When I say I read this volume of the first 5 issues of Dick Briefer's lighthearted comic book take on Frankenstein's monster that started in 1945 I really read public domain scans of the issues off of the website called comicbookplus here: https://comicbookplus.com/?cid=1154

Overall reading these first 5 issues of this odd comic book take on Frankenstein was pretty delightful and I think I might prefer the lighthearted Dick Briefer's frankenstein over his earlier dark and serious take on the character! There is just a energy and life to this series and its art that makes it still a very entertaining read for a comic book from the golden age of comics!
