I always look forward to His Christmas List and just read the new stories, which was A Forever Kind of Kiss this year!

This story features Andrew, a widow and massage therapist, and the very wealthy Mabel. Andrew is younger than Mabel, but neither can deny the attraction. Does Mabel choose her career, or the possibility of a new relationship?

Entertain

Most of the stories were repeats from previous book.
As for “Brunetti” and “A Forever Kind Of Kids” I wasn’t a fan. Each for personal preference reasons. I don’t like love triangles because someone tends to get hurt. I especially will not like it between siblings.
With the last book I do not like the characters. I don’t like how Andrew speaks to Mabel’s staff. I don’t like how he has so many expectations that he wants from her when they had no discussion about what they each wanted. It’s unfair for him to be mad at her for rejecting him. I honestly don’t see what he sees in her. She has given him nothing of herself.
On the other hand Mabel is mean and cruel to him. There is no need for her rudeness to people who express care towards her. She lacks tact. Her propensity for constantly lying, evading answering questions, and playing games with Andrew is frustrating. I felt like I felt like she spent more time wondering about “the what ifs” than time was spent getting to know who she is or what makes her tick.
At this stage of the book I have zero desire to see them end up together

I should have read my post on this book from the beginning of the year before rereading it again 🙄 but oh, well, I just don’t seem to learn my lesson 🫣

I really like this author, I think she has very good books just the Miles High series is a favorite. I can’t price the Casanova enough, and Tristan as a character 🧑🏼‍🍳💋 I even love the bonus even though some didn’t, so of course when I saw that she had written a new story besides announcing the release of Edward’s book: The Heart you Kept, well, I have to be honest, I wanted to reread it again….

But oh boy, was I so disappointed… Alaskan Jack, The Bonus, and The Heart You Kept are the only ones worth reading, the other five they are not for me. I don’t think I will waste my time again rereading the whole book as the only three stories that I like, I now know them by heart, and two of them have their own book.

This time I can truly said: Lesson learned!!!

I enjoy this collection of novellas . Over all give the collection 4 stars however the new addition to the collection is five a 3/3.5. Just found the heroine’s character flat and the two to be not compatible. It felt unbelievable to me. I didn’t see the emotional chemistry.
I see the story may go on and I look forward to reading when that happens. I am sure with more story there will be more development.

2025 edition (1 new novella)

A lot of editing and attention to detail is needed throughout the anthology, but each novella has a lot of potential.

*****SPOILER ALERT*****

His Christmas List by TL Swan. Ebook purchase. This is the fifth edition of TL Swan's Christmas novella anthology. The following seven were part of last year's edition: 'Alaskan Jack' (originally released in 2020 in a free multi-author anthology gift of appreciation to readers, then self-published in 2021), 'The Christmas Angel' (added in 2022), 'The Bonus' (added in 2022; full novel published in 2024), 'The Expert' (added in 2023), 'The Heart You Kept' (formerly 'Mr Prescott'; added in 2023), 'You Wish' (added in 2024), and 'Brunetti' (added in 2024). This year's edition includes one longer novella: 'A Forever Kind of Kiss.' This year's edition is finally priced correctly for the content. It is available to both borrow through KU and purchase for a limited time. JP

===

Alaskan Jack (2020). Dual POV. Holly McMillan (33) divorced her embezzling-cheating-b@st@rd husband 18 months ago after 10 years of betrayal filled marriage. She works directly with Gabriel Ferrara at Ferrara Media as the Acquistions Manager in New York. Jack Stevens was widowed 7 years ago. His wife died of a brain tumor. He is a builder living in Alaska. White knight/damsel in distress, forced proximity. Three chapters weren't enough, I need more Jack and Holly. Both main characters are new characters, but there is crossover to The Stopover, The Takeover, and The Bonus with Gabriel and Tristan. When it was originally released in 2020, TL Swan commented in her FB group that there would be a full novel for this story at some point in the future. It ends in a HFN.

2 out of 5 on my spice scale.

===

The Christmas Angel (2022). Dual POV. Dylan Andrews (police officer) and Zoe Armitage (26; lawyer). Cop/damsel in distress. Her flat tire changed their life. All new characters. There is no mention of a full novel for this one that I can find. Five chapters with a sweet HFN ending.

2 out of 5 on my spice scale.

===

The Bonus (2022). Single POV. Gabriel Ferara (CEO) and Grace Porter (32; CEO's assistant). Boss/employee, forbidden, seven year crush, surprise pregnancy. Five chapters, big cliffhanger, no HEA/HFN in this novella. While these five chapters were edited for the full novel that was released in 2024, this is the original 2022 version.

2 out of 5 on my spice scale.

===

The Expert (2023). Dual POV. OW/YM, one bed, fake relationship with an escort. Elizabeth Burchmore (aka Beth/Liz; over 36; CEO; divorced Graham, her cheating husband, four years ago; no children) and Dr Thomas Stone (36; doctor and escort). Five chapters of healing and fun. Elizabeth seems to have conquered her goals. These are new lead characters; Cameron and Ashley Stanton are mentioned. This novella does not end with a HEA/HFN couple. In TL Swan's FB group, she commented that this will become a full novel at some point in the future.

2 out of 5 on my spice scale.

===

The Heart You Kept (formerly Mr Prescott; 2023). Dual POV. Edward Prescott (aka Mr Doe/Boss; English; dominant; controlling; wealthy; his mom is deceased; he has a brother and a sister) and Alora (aka Miss Doe/Doe; American; inexperienced; math teacher; her mom is deceased; she has a brother and a sister; her father struggled to support them) meet when they were matched at a private five star resort in Switzerland that caters to clients who want to explore their k¡nks with anonymity. Age gap, dirty weekend with an anonymous stranger. These seven chapters left me wanting so much more. Edward first appeared in Mr Spencer, and he had a very brief appearance in The Do-over. This novella ends with Alora wishing on a fortune from a fortune cookie. It does not end with a HEA/HFN couple. The full novel was supposed to be released in 2024. It was delayed until April 2025. It is currently listed on GoodReads with April 7, 2026, as the new release date.

3 out of 5 on my spice scale.

===

You Wish (2024). Dual POV. Aaron Hammond (29; veterinarian) and Emma Barret (25; aka Em; writes code; desperate to confront her biological mother for giving her up for adoption) met in the airport and a snowstorm forces them to share a rental car and a hotel room. Forced proximity, one-night stand, and miscommunication. This eight chapter novella is what I imagine would've happened if The Stopover and Dr Stanton had a baby, and I'm not mad about it. Three years later, Aaron and Emma are married and expecting their first child.

2 out of 5 on my spice scale.

===

Brunetti (2024). Single POV. Three chapters with a massive cliffhanger. Halle Johnston (American) is contracted to work in Italy for one year. She is definitely starting it off with a bang when she shares a hot kiss with a stranger: Romeo Brunetti (aka Bruno; Italian; met Halle first; aggressively sexu@l; Dante's twin). A week later, Halle went speed dating with her friend and met Dante Brunetti (aka Bruno; Italian; conservative with his affection; Romeo's twin) believing he's Romeo, she gave him her phone number. I have no idea how Bruno is a nickname for Brunetti, let alone for both twin brothers, but I look forward to finding out how TL Swan is going to explain it and sort this love triangle out. This novella directly crosses over to The Italian, Ferrara, and Valentino.

2 out of 5 on my spice scale.

===

A Forever Kind of Kiss (2025). Dual POV. Ten chapters with the option of ending on a HFN, or reading a few more paragraphs and ending on a cliffhanger with the promise of a future novel. Andrew Watson (35; aka Drew) is a physiotherapist by trade and a widower with two young daughters: Kaia (4; aka Sissy) and Birdy (3; aka Bubba). Madison Rothchild (44; aka Mabel Harrington) is the CEO and Founder of Gemtec and Jupiter Software and her current estimated wealth is $27 billion. They are an improbable, if not completely impossible match, but I'm curious to read where the author plans to take us. A lot of editing and attention to detail is needed, but it has a lot of potential.

2 out of 5 on my spice scale.

Cute Christmas read

So the first story Alaskan Jack was so cute. I was really upset that this wasn't an actual book cause I went looking to see if this was a book that was released that I hadn't read by T. L Swan only to find out its a short story. But I really wanted this to continue, I would love to read this as a full book or there should be like a movie. Holly and Jack, where absolutely adorable, and their moments together were extremely intimate and hot and it was just very detailed and worded well that it pulled you their intimacy, and I love that.

The Christmas angel short story was okay. I think I was more annoyed with Zoe because of just her backward mentality of holding on to a man that you were having a Ross and Rachel, -We were on a break dilemma- for 6 months. And then I understand she wasn't expecting to come across the cop, but once she started having things go, you know very well with him. I felt like she should have already told Roger they were truly over, an yes, I understand his mom was in the car, but even then that would have been like a huge let me just go ahead and break things off with him. Hurting Dylan like that and just causing trust issues like that was just quite unnecessary. But I'm kind of glad he just bit the bullet and decided to still try with her anyways. It was a cute story. But I just felt as though zoe was kind of stupid and the way she handled things.

The Bonus is chef's kiss 😘💫 Read it 3 times. Yes Grace gets real flipping annoying down the line but she has a redemption arc I promise makes up for her annoying choices.

I really like The Expert. That was another one of the short stories that was kind of hoping was a book in full Bloom that I hadn't come across. But I would love to see this turn into a huge book like I don't know if the guy has his own book. Because she said his name was Santon, so I'm assuming, and he was a doctor too. So I'm trying to remember who is Thomas stone. I'm gonna have to find if he has his own book, but I was actually hoping they would get together. But you know, it didn't happen that way, but I'm kind of glad it ended that way, because it's so strange. We're so used to seeing the main couples. You know, will they or won't they? And then when they do, you hope that they stay together. But this one was truly like he helped her out of her divorce and dry spell sexually, and then they parted ways on really good terms. I actually like the way that T L ended it. But I kind of wish that they were like their own book, but I think Thomas Santon has his own book. So I might have to go through the Santon Series to go find that. But this was a really good short story.

The heart you kept is one of T. L. Swan's newest books that's coming out in May and she just dropped a sneak peek of this. It's called kings of the Rivera series, and it has Alora and some other man named Edward... so far reading this, I'm upset like this book needs to come out Now! I'm obsessed when it's the female that's dominant, and there is an alpha male that's submissive, because you really don't see that in stories a lot. It's either like it's always the female being submissive, or it's the man that's submissive for like only when she gives him a blow j*, but even then he takes the reins of that to have control in, alpha male be submissive to a dominant female is so new, because I think the last book I read by sarah kate. I think the guy was a submissive, but he didn't really give me alpha male because he was like an annoying character from like the first book that I didn't like.....Anyway, so this was different.And so far, I really like it, so i'm excited for this new release.
Kinda of disappointed he didn't get pegged. It's really hawt if written properly a dominate alpha male getting pegged by another woman (😍✨️)
Alora kept saying she isn't submissiv, but girl....you definitely were the entire time lol. Edward is very mysterious and controllin, but I hope he can relinquish his control to her. I hope he gets pegged and T. L isn't baiting us 😔 May is so far away....

The way Brunetti ends in a TBC is crazy I need more neooow!!!

Be honest, given that the short story, a forever kind of kiss was the last short story of this Christmas collection book I could have really done without it. I think that the brunetti short story should have been continued as the last story. Because this woman, Madison or Mabel, really annoyed me so much! 44 years old but acts like child.🫩🙄🙄

Rating averages out to 4 stars. These were hit or miss for the most part.

So looking at the above actual temperatures, I’d say it’s impossible for Holly to be driving in the rain in December in Northern Alaska. Other than that glaring error it’s a pretty cute story of two lonely people finding each other. I’d love to read a follow up of how the bitch(es) in town react to Jack being taken off the market.

The Christmas Angel 4 stars

My first thought is, “Why doesn’t Zoe have AAA?” but that would put too much of a crimp in the story so I’ll let it slide.

Dylan comes to Zoe’s rescue when her car gets a flat tire. There is instantaneous mutual attraction but nothing comes of it. He follows her home to insure that she arrives safely. She later spots him after a night of drunken revelry and they reconnect for a New York minute. He eventually shows up on her doorstep and its a raging inferno of lust. It seems like they are meant for each other until her ex shows up. Dylan thinks he’s been lied to so heads for the hills.

The Bonus 2 stars

(The MMC is Holly’s boss from Alaskan Jack)
Highly improbable story of a woman lusting after her boss for almost a decade. Part of her job is performing demeaning tasks for a rich jerk. They go over his schedule after he showers and then gets dressed in front of her on a daily basis. She finally realizes that this is leading nowhere and decides to quit. Her last day on the job coincides with the office Christmas party. Her boss makes his move now that she’s no longer his employee and confesses that he’s been attracted to her all along. They spend a torrid night together and she naively seems to think she’s gotten her HEA. Nope. The man has plans and they don’t include her.

I didn’t like either character. She was a doormat and he not only took advantage of her but the way he treated his other employees made me think he's a narcissist. It looks like there’s an entire novel about these two but I won’t be reading it.

The Expert 4 1/2 stars

I wonder how many women are emotionally crushed for years after they discover infidelity in their relationship? Liz needs to secure a contract to keep her business afloat. A conference will be held in Paris and her ex and his new wife will be attending. Her PA takes it upon herself to hire an escort for Liz. To say Liz is not on board is an understatement. Thomas is undeniably attractive and manages to coax Liz out of her shell and eventually seduces her. Liz is a changed woman and Thomas finds himself emotionally drawn to her as they connect on many levels. Disappointing ending.

The Heart You Kept 5 stars

I get why Alora is at the sex resort as she’s fulfilling a promise to finish the bucket list of her deceased best friend. Edward is a bit of a mystery. His therapist recommended that he visit this club and his sister is the one who insisted he see a therapist. I want to know why. The reader does find out that he doesn’t follow through with the assignment from the therapist. That also raises the question as to the ineptitude of the sex resort’s management in pairing these two.

“Mr. and Ms. Doe” connect on more that a strictly physical level. They follow the rules for the most part although their feelings for one other somewhat stretch the club’s boundaries. Edward discovers Alora’s real name and she observes his private jet departure at the airport. They will meet in the future in a book to be published in May. This is one I will read.

You Wish 3 1/2 stars

Emma recently found out she was adopted and is flying to Aspen to confront her birth mother. Aaron is headed there for a conference. They find themselves sharing a vehicle when their flight is canceled due to a snowstorm. They spend the night in Vail after securing what seems to be the only room available in town. Alcohol at dinner loosens inhibitions and they subsequently don’t get much sleep. Once in Aspen, Emma happens to see a text from a woman on his phone, jumps to the conclusion that he has a girlfriend and hightails it out of town.

Aaron is pissed when she doesn’t call him and then finds out that she gave him a fake phone number.
Fate determines that they meet again but he wants nothing to do with her. She discovers that her assumption had been wrong and grovels for his forgiveness. Nice ending to their story.

Brunetti 5 stars

Halle and her bestie Allegra are working in Rome. They hang out at exclusive nightclubs in their spare time. A couple of blacked out SUVs catch their attention while waiting in line and the men who emerge are eye candy. (Just an observation but this author certainly seems to like referring to men as gods. This is at least the third story that uses the descriptor) The women ahead of them in line hint that these men are kings of the underworld. Wouldn’t you know it but Halle manages to bump into one in a dark hallway. Bruno promises to meet up with her later but alas, it is not to be.

Allegra convinces Halle to participate in a speed dating event and lo and behold Bruno is there. She gives him her number and they arrange for a dinner date. She meets his mother who invites her to the family brunch. Halle is in for the surprise of her life.

A Forever Kind of Kiss 2 stars

Meh, didn’t do it for me. Andrew vacillated too much between being a puppy dog in love to resenting Madison and acting like a spoiled brat. She wasn’t any better with her fear of being judged by people she knew. That and pretending to be out of town for a week so she didn’t have to deal with him.

Another short where there is a book to complete the story for those who want to know how it turns out. I’m not one of them.

T.L. Swan’s His Christmas List is a festive collection that blends romance, intrigue, and emotional depth, offering readers a mix of new stories, previews of upcoming novels, and familiar favourites. With a strong holiday undercurrent and Swan’s signature chemistry-driven storytelling, this collection feels like a curated sampler of what’s to come.

“Alaskan Jack” takes readers on a rugged, adventure-tinged romance with Holly, who finds herself stranded after a car accident and unexpectedly rescued by the mysterious Alaskan mountain man, Jack. The story balances heart, humour, and survival elements beautifully, and if this one becomes a full-length novel, it’s already off to a strong start.

In “The Christmas Angel,” Zoe’s chance encounter with a charming police officer after a flat tyre leads to a connection that feels both tender and transformative. What begins as a simple moment quickly becomes something far more meaningful, making this a quietly emotional and hopeful holiday read.

“The Bonus” revisits the world of Ferrara Media, following Grace, a personal assistant navigating her growing feelings for Gabriel, the company’s powerful head. The tension between ambition and desire is front and centre here, giving this story a satisfying emotional push-and-pull. (Originally released August 13, 2024.)

“The Expert” introduces Elizabeth, who hires professional chaperone Thomas to help her navigate a business deal while keeping her past firmly at bay. This one delivers charm and humour in equal measure and gives strong The Takeover vibes, making it easy to imagine as a future full-length release.

In “The Heart You Kept,” Alora heads to an exclusive Swiss resort to tick off a bold bucket-list item, pairing up with a mysterious stranger for just 48 hours. The pacing keeps the tension high, and the intrigue alone makes this one hard to forget. I’m very ready for this story to be expanded.

“You Wish” follows Emma and Aaron, whose first meeting at an airport goes spectacularly wrong. A snowstorm, a single rental car, and an impulsive road trip to Aspen force them together, leading to one unforgettable night and a whole lot of miscommunication. They part ways, only to reconnect later under very unexpected circumstances when Emma’s dog lands Aaron back in her life. The emotional payoff and healing between them makes this a deeply satisfying romance.

Finally, “Brunetti” transports us to Italy, where Halle is on a work exchange with her best friend. After sparks fly with Dante, she’s quickly swept into the warmth and chaos of the Brunetti family. Things take a dramatic turn when Halle discovers the man she’s been falling for has an identical twin, leaving her questioning everything she thought she knew. The setup promises intense family drama, tangled emotions, and a very intriguing path to a happily ever after.

And rounding out the collection, “A Forever Kind of Kiss” follows Andrew, a widowed father balancing parenthood with financial pressure, looking after his girls by day and a masseur by night. When a high-profile job introduces him to the formidable Mabel Harrington, sparks fly between two guarded souls with everything to lose. The opposites-attract chemistry is magnetic, and I loved the unique choice Swan gives readers with two possible endings.

Overall, His Christmas List feels like a generous holiday offering that showcases T.L. Swan’s range, teasing future releases while delivering heartfelt, romantic moments in the present. I’m especially excited for the completed versions of Brunetti, The Heart You Kept, and A Forever Kind of Kiss, all hopefully landing in 2026. Fingers firmly crossed.

Honestly disappointed in the new addition “A Forever Kind of Kiss” or “Forever Kiss”. I can’t
even remember what it was called and that should tell you everything you need to know. I felt there was no chemistry between Andrew and Mabel. There were also a few errors that confused me. The kids were eating Pez candy then a few sentence later it says they were sucking on their lollies? Is that an Australian term for candy that I misunderstood? I took that as lollipops. I can’t focus when I see conflicting sentences and get turned off from the book. The way Andrew describes his sister from his point of view is kinda disturbing, often referring to her as wearing sexy or tight clothes, and how he wears only boxers with her around. At first I thought Sally was a friend staying with him that he has a past with. Andrew’s characterization is also confusing. His attitude in the beginning he portrays him like a sweet and sheltered dad who is dedicated to his kids but then he turns sarcastic and rude towards Mabel’s staff and just his overall attitude is strange. He becomes a jokester out of nowhere. He also says some cringe things that I couldn’t get past. It’s sad because I felt like the beginning was promising and a cliffhanger just for it to feel rushed.

The other short stories Brunetti, You Wish, A Christmas Angel, etc., are all wonderful, hence why I kept this rating at four stars. I look forward to these books ever year and so I’m disappointed with the new story being a let down. TL Swan is one of my favorite authors and I love reading her books so I will continue to support her.

T.L Swan adds a new novella every Christmas. This year is A Forever Kind of Kiss.

Andrew is a therapist that gives massages from time to time. One day he is booked to go to the penthouse of a rich client, Mabel. They start a relationship but Mabel's insecurities are the reason for them to break up.
Andrew is a mix of a sweet and romantic next door guy and a hot masculine God. Mabel is cold and focused on her company. She doesn't know what a family is because her parents never loved her the way Andrew loves his two little girls. When they are together, both have a chemistry off the charts but to be in a relationship they need to have more than physical attraction.

I'm not a fan of reverse age gap stories. I prefer when the man is older than the woman.I like a grumpy CEO and a sunshine girl. In this story, Mabel is the grumpy CEO and Andrew the sunshine. It feels weird to read a romance written this way because it's difficult to find empathy with the female character and to be honest, we all love a rich, successful man, like in The Miles High Club.
I understand that an author wants to experiment with different kinds of styles and tropes. That is how I see A Forever Kind Of Kiss.
Did I like it? Yes. I love all T.L Swan books. I enjoyed reading it and I am looking forward to read the whole story. I hope that the book goes in depth inside Mabel reasons to be the way she is. I hope to see her character grows and I hope to see how Andrew and his beautiful family change the way she sees the world. Unrequited love and found family are always difficult tropes to pull out, but I trust Tee to do it right in A Forever Kind Of Kiss.

Another cliff hanger… another can’t wait for more

I’ve read all the chapters before in the previous versions of TL Swan’s Christmas treats. And I’ve not been disappointed… and I can honestly say, I’m not with this one either.

After reading this latest one I’m in so many different minds. Similar to how I felt after I read The Bonus… I’m not completely loving the main character… Mabel/Madison that is. Not Andrew… he’s adorable with a capital A but Mabel makes me want to wring her neck and shake her.

The whole wow is me, I’m a lonely, career driven spinster is so unappealing and I was hoping that Andrew’s influence would be enough to thaw her out a bit. But sadly, not even his love and affection can break through her walls.

What I don’t get is the last part though… I thought in the initial interview Andrew has he’s told it’s a family with three children that owns the property. I suspected when it was first mentioned that it would be her property but it really threw me at the end. And what a cheeky, heart wrecking twist Tee pulled on us. Just when we all thought and hoped that things were all happy and wonderful with the world, she whips that damn rug out from beneath us. You wonderfully cruel but brilliant woman.

Definitely hoping for a full length version of this one… because Andrew needs his happy ever after. If anyone deserves it, he does.

Great edition to this collection

This is a selection of short stories that T adds to each year and oh boy! What a hot story it was this year!
The heart you kept is that story. A young woman completing her late best friends bucket list and an overpowering Alpha make who takes advice from his therapist. They both end up in a kinky hotel resort, where they are paired together for one night. That night was so damn hot it leads them to enjoy a second night. After their hot and dirty weekend, they go their separate ways but so many questions are unanswered between them. Will they ever cross paths again?
I bloody hope so!! Their story will be T's next full length novel and I really can't wait.
If your considering this collection for the first time then your going to live each story. Some are already full length books and some haven't quite made it yet but I recommend anything this Author writes, she writes from the heart, she's truly magical.

These short stories completely stole my heart — and honestly, my heart is still there with them.

For such brief reads, they pack an incredible emotional punch. Each story is tender, romantic, and quietly intense, with that unmistakable T L Swan ability to make you feel deeply in very few pages. I found myself wanting to slow down, to savour every moment, and then sitting with that familiar book-hangover feeling once I’d finished.

What really stood out for me was how fully formed everything felt despite the length - the characters, the emotions, the connections. Nothing felt rushed or shallow, which is such a talent in short-form romance.

I won’t say too much because these are best enjoyed without spoilers, but if you love emotional, swoony Christmas romance that lingers long after you’ve finished reading, this collection is an absolute must.

Five stars without hesitation. My heart may eventually move on… but it hasn’t yet. 💫💔📖

I always try to see the best in a book, I feel bad rating low because I know it’s someone work but I just couldn’t give this book any higher than a one star rating - and that being generous.

The only reason I finished the book was because I had a New Year’s resolution to complete any book I start this year.

Every single male character is the same in each story. Same looks, same personality. Same goes for the women. They’re all just so weak and submissive that it’s cringey to read.

Every spicy scene plays out the same, it’s just boring. It wasn’t even good in the first story, let alone repeating the material in every story after it.

Also, I still can’t get it out of my head that in the first story she is ‘humped’ by his dog and he tries to use that as some kind of weird pick up line like ‘he’s not used to seeing such a pretty girl’ 🤢🤢🤢🤢

So glad I finally got through it and can read something else!

His Christmas List 2025 is once again the ultimate Christmas treat and my favourite annual gift from T L Swan (Tee). Every year feels like coming home, and this installment absolutely delivered. The festive romance, the tension, the chemistry—everything was perfectly wrapped and impossible to put down.

This year’s bonus story, A Forever Kind of Kiss, completely stole my heart. Ten chapters of pure heaven, packed with emotion, longing, and that signature Swan magic. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and devoured it in one sitting. It was tender, intense, and unforgettable.

And then there’s Brunetti… "jumping back into his world reminded me exactly why I fell so hard in the first place. The chemistry is off-the-charts hot and spicy, leaving me desperate for more. Tee has a way of making you laugh, swoon, and fan yourself all at once—and His Christmas List 2025 is no exception. Another incredible Christmas read that I’ll be rereading again and again. 🎄❤️🔥

I’ve bought and read this book since the first one was released, I think in 2022. I love all of the short Christmas stories. My favourites this year include Alaskan Jack, The Christmas Angel, You Wish and the new story for this year, A Forever Kind of Kiss. I didn’t read The Heart You Kept or Brunetti this time around as I want to wait until the full books are out. I’d only get my hopes up to read them and want the rest of the story if I did and I can’t wait that long! I have loved Tee’s books since I first stumbled across The Stopover. Her books make me laugh, cry and feel everything in between. This book of short Christmas stories is no different. They make me feel good and give me that bit of relaxation before a somewhat stressful period. I can’t wait to read them again soon.

His Christmas List is always on my Christmas list!

His Christmas List by T.L. Swan is everything I crave in holiday romances—warm, witty, emotionally rich, and irresistibly sexy. Each story wrapped me up like a cozy blanket and then lit a delicious spark.

T.L. Swan has a gift for creating chemistry that practically crackles off the page. It’s sensual, confident, and swoon-worthy without ever losing the heart of the stories.

What truly sets these stories apart...her characters feel real, flawed, and deeply human, making their journey incredibly satisfying to watch unfold.

If you’re looking for short holiday romances that deliver heart, heat, and hope, His Christmas List deserves a top spot on your Kindle. T.L. Swan absolutely nails it every time. 💫🎄🔥

This was a total disappointment. It was not Christmassy other than to mention that it was around that time period. It seems as if the author was trying to write erotica i.e. : Alaskan Jack. Her full length novels are much better. For such an accomplished author with her own staff and beta team, there were too many errors. It needs to be revised.
The stories seem like teasers for full length books to come. The Bonus is one of them. I had already read the full length version. At the end of The Expert, Elizabeth mentions an author writing his story. 🙄 Of course that story has no ending. OD scenes were weak and rushed.
That did it for me. I tried to finish, but I just didn't like the book. What a shame because I liked so many books by this author.

This has all the feels 😉😉

This book is like getting your comfy clothes and slippers on by the log burner with a large Baileys hot chocolate. It’s familiar and yet new.
Jack is, well, just Jack, familiar with a big dose of spice. Dylan is cute, spicy and sweet. Thomas, well I can’t find the words to describe him except phoar 😉😉. Edward well he is off the charts bossy, dominant and spice on a stick. Andrew, ahh I can’t get enough of Andrew with his little girls, the new job and then it finishes! I mean WTF, how can it just finish. TL Swan you had better be busy writing the full version as I’m not sure I can wait for the outcome.
All in all, a fantastic set of short stories to keep a girl happy and content 🥳🥳

I look forward to these stories every year!

TL Swan’s writing is my absolute favorite. She always jokes about writing long books, taking us readers on a ride, and then delivering us a HEA. I don’t know what kind of magic she was able to put into these short stories that made them feel like full length books. The connection with the characters in each story… it’s incredible. I look forward to reading these short stories every year during the holiday season. Cozying up with stories from past years and sitting on the edge of my seat when I get to the good parts. Meeting new characters for the first time and falling in love with them as well! Love love love. Thank you, Tee! 🫶🏼

if tl swan has a 1000 fans, im one of them. if tl swan has 1 fan, im one of them. if she has 0 fans, consider me dead.
i love her books to death and will defend her flawed and misunderstood badboys to the ends of the earth.
i loved this so much and since i failed to read the 2024 version i absolutely adored brunetti. and cannot fucking wait to see my favourite italian men again.
i wasnt a huge fan of this year's new story. it is kind of hard to defend andrew 'strong independant women are a turn off' watson.
however, i enjoyed the rest of the book. thank you for the christmas present tee!

Previews and guilty pleasures

I look forward to this "release" every year. The two new additions this year are a preview of The Heart You Kept and my guilt pleasure of a reverse age-gap called A Forever Kind of Kiss.

The Heart You Kept is a new release coming in May 2026. An unexpected meeting between two strangers led to an attempt to try something new. The chemistry from their first interaction is combustible, and the perfect amount of words to get me addicted to when they meet again in their full novel.

A Forever Kind of Kiss has the roles kind of reversing all the way around. Madison is an extreme workaholic with no time for relationships. Andrew is a struggling single dad getting by for his two little girls. Their meeting is of circumstance when Mabel's regular masseuse gets injured, and Andrew is called to fill in. Both struggle with their attraction to one another, but they ultimately cave to it. With the way the story is left, I cannot wait to see what happens next.
