I have a knack for biting off more than I can chew. I’m not talking about those giant heart chocolates we devour every Valentine's Day either. It’s paired with my inability to tolerate being pushed around. You go low, and I’ll come back with a shovel to go lower.

There is no way I'll let them put up a fancy ski resort that will taint the sweetness of New Hope. So if that means seducing the fancy lawyer, so be it.
It doesn't matter that I have zero clue how to flirt. I'll do what I must, but in true Tinsley fashion, my plan blows up in my face. I wake up married and in his bed. The kicker is he's not even a lawyer, and divorce isn't an option, unless I want to end a legacy. I'd be the first person in the town's history to get divorced.

I had a good time, but I guess it wasn't as much as I thought it would be. Tinsley's age definitely came through here; she literally just turned 21. 😅 She's not super young, but she's still pretty young for sure. I’m not sure how old Pierce is, but for some reason, I picture him in his 30s. 🤷🏽♀️ There's just too much immaturity on her part. Sometimes the running away was pretty adorable, but after a while, it definitely got exasperating. Guess she's lucky because Pierce is in it for the long haul and doesn't mind keeping up with her shenanigans.
Anyway, it was still fun in some ways, but I didn't really get that invested in it. The second book in this series is still my favorite out of the three.
That said, can't wait for Katherine's book. I know she'd be a handful as well (she's Tinsley's bff after all, so that should say a lot 😂), but she's really entertaining and her antics, and I'm really curious to see who ends up being her man.

Pierce is not a lawyer but with a knowing smile and hearts in his eyes, he just falls in love, hard with this spicy pixie with glitter on her cheeks and her hands on her hips, ready to go toe to toe with anyone and everyone! She is tiny and he is a foot taller than she is, but although she might be small, she is mighty! He just stares at her in awe, and when she leaves after their meet cute, he follows her to New Hope intending on finding out everything about her and making her his in all ways. It is a done deal for this entrepreneur. Before meeting Tinsley, he seldom smiled let alone laughed. He was always focused on his work to become rich, so he never has to worry about not having a meal. This was his childhood when he would bounce around from home to home, never belonging and worrying if he would skip a meal one day. Women were never on his radar, until he met Tinsley and Tinsley waited for her Mr. Right because she knows that is what she wants. She manifested her prince charming, and my goodness did fate deliver with Pierce!
Pierce never wavered about his feelings, and whenever shenanigans would light up in her head, he would just smile at her and enjoy every bit of her craziness. It keeps him on his toes and gave him a now glitter sprinkled, brighter world that is interesting, very opposite to his boring beige world he lived in the city. He smiles more, laughs more, is ahead of Tinsley's shenanigans and meets her fiery temper with a kiss that melts her resolve like butter in the sun. He feels happier and knows that it is all Tinsley.
She resists him, because she is scared of heartbreak, and he figures that out, so he is resolute on showing her that their relationship is for life. He takes time to show her, and her being drunk and having the idea to marry Pierce was pretty hilarious. He doesn't resist one bit! She wakes up in bed and he just has this big smile again that she is his and he is hers officially. She thinks of getting an annulment, but in her heart, she doesn't really want one. She is just running scared but whenever she runs, she runs straight into Pierce's arms. I kind of wished that she didn't push him away so much, but the humour and light heartedness made it kind of fun and if Pierce was hurt by her then I wouldn't have like it. He loves that she pushes away and runs, because then he can chase her, catch her, and with a kiss show her that he isn't going anywhere. Still, I wish that she didn't resist so much.
The fact that Pierce is elated that they share all their firsts together, is the most important character trait in a romance hero for me. We get that rare, gem of a hero with Pierce! Although they are both new, they are both a quick study, and enjoy experimenting. He loves control and she likes the chase. There are many sequences of events that unfold, and it includes very prominently Tinsley's best friend Katherine who is just a hoot! She is hilarious and her story comes next! I loved her to bits, but I wish our love birds had more alone time. It's ok though, the whole story was just fantastic and the people of this small town are hilarious and loyal to each other. Pierce fit right in. I am glad we see Hollis again, from book 1 in the series. I cannot wait Katherine's story next! Lucy Darling continues to deliver one true love romances with first timers, so for her, I drop everything to read her stories! I am left with a smile on my face and best believe I will reread this again and again!

Pierce and Tinsley
I loooooovveeeeee iiiitttt!!!! This one was … I just loved it.
First, each others firsts and onlys!! So, dual virgins here!!! Yessss.
Second, this is hilarious. I laughed so many times. It’s taking Candy and Kindred’s mischievous ideas to a higher level. The women in this town are incredible!!
These two, Tinsley and Katherine are a ticking bomb together. It’s so funny what comes out of their mouths and minds. The questions!!! I started answering them in my mind 🤭.
And Pierce is the best. He’s what I love in a MMC. Obsessive, jealous, possessive, doesn’t wait too long but also gave her space to accept him nd their relationship, sweet with her, understands her, accepts her crazy and lets her follow through some of her crazy plans until it’s time to pull in the leash. He is what she deserves, someone special that helps her accept herself and blossom.

A hilarious story set in the love-enchanted town of New Hope (which I hope never ends, it has so much potential).
I really enjoyed the plot in this one because Pierce is secretly planning to win his girl over and Tinsley is secretly trying to lure him away from his supposedly evil plans, but actually they're just falling in love. It's so cute!
Tinsley is so quirky, sharp-tongued and quick-witted that the big business man is highly impressed with her. One ingenious meet-cute and he's ready to put his empire at her feet. I couldn't stop laughing during their first encounter, and later on, when they clash wills in her hometown, it's non-stop fun. This couple plays tricks yet is a perfect match. And the whole town is in deep.
I loved seeing so much more of New Hope and its places and inhabitants. Katherine would make such a wonderful addition to the books in this series. Rosemary too. The story is long enough to include funny dialogues, hot intimacy, behind-the-scenes plotting and lovely touches of Valentine's Day, family and community.

A quick, easy read — exactly the kind of ride you expect from this author. I went in fully aware of the formula: a bit of insta‑love, a touch of obsession (but the kind that somehow works in this universe), and MMCs who are intense but matched by FMCs who aren’t exactly subtle themselves.
I’ve been curious about Tinsley since her earlier cameos, so I was genuinely looking forward to her story. And while the setup had so much potential — sweet moments, plenty of heat, and a dynamic that could’ve been really compelling — the writing didn’t quite rise to meet the idea. Shorter books and insta‑love can still hit hard when they’re tight and intentional, but this one felt like it needed a bit more depth and polish. These types of books rarely get that extra layer, and this one unfortunately followed the pattern.
Still, it was enjoyable for what it was, and I’m absolutely planning to read Katherine’s book. I’m already trying to guess her MMC — will it be the tech guy we met, or the lumberjack we only got a glimpse of? Either way, I’m in.

This book was funny, cute, and sexy all at once. Tinsley is a mess and hilarious, especially with her best friend. Their scenes had me laughing out loud and stole the show. Pierce was completely gone for her from the start, which made their chemistry so fun to read about.
The premise is over-the-top in the best way (stalker much Pierce?), and the story fully leans into it. It never takes itself too seriously and was incredibly entertaining from start to finish. I loved this series but I have to say, this was probably my favorite of the bunch.

I've enjoyed every book in this New Hope series. Tinsley is always getting into trouble, but this time it seems the problems followed her to New Hope, and now her little magical town seems to be in danger. Pierce only needed one look to know that Tinsley was the woman for him. To him, she was unique, always getting her way, but he was always two steps ahead of her; they were perfect for each other. This story is so romantic, steamy, and incredibly fun that you won't be able to put it down.

Pierce saw Tinsley and knew she was meant to be his. Tinsley believes certain things about him that are simply not true, but he doesn’t correct her either. This makes this one a little over the top, but I enjoyed the friendly banter between the two main characters and especially between Tinsley and her best friend.

Tinsley’s book did not disappoint!!! She’s the town friend, that everyone loves. Pierce follows her to her town and decides he’s not going anywhere for the rest of his life. I loved the banter in this book, and the fact that all the towns people stuck together. Great little book. 10 stars from my end! 😊🤩

Pierce & Tinsley
Tinsley is just as sweet and fun and scattered as always! And so is her story! I love how smitten and possessive Pierce is. Their story is relatively short and very sweet and definitely fun and chaotic (just like Tinsley) and steamy too! It definitely matches her personality. Love it!

I absolutely LOVED these two together. Pierce was just perfect for Tinsley and her chaos. Ugh! I loved him so much from start to finish. She tried to run from him, but the man didn't let up. So good! Give it a try!

I loved Tinsley and Pierce! Tinsley cracked me up she was definitely a firecracker. And I loved that Pierce wanted her just the way she was the only thing he would change is making her safe. Tinsley’s actions had me laughing out loud. Great read and adorable epilogue!

This was a nice read. There is a lot of laugh out loud moments with Tinsley. Pierce seems to be a quiet guy but knows exactly what he wants. Both characters were virgins and the storyline was great. A new author for me and I enjoyed reading this book

The last book in the series was so sweet. Then we had to get this mmc who was too impressed with himself to actually be a good partner. Tinsley deserved so much better.

4.2 stars. This book was quite cute and funny. Tinsley and Pierce are a great couple. We met Tinsley in the previous books and you just knew she would be great. Her relationship with her best friend is hilarious. You won't be disappointed.

Love Tinsley and Pierce!
Lucy Darling is in my top 3 favorite romance authors. This book has also moved to my top ten reads. It was hilarious, sweet, hot and everything else good above. Highly recommend and will buy whooe series once they are packaged together.

A Quick and Enjoyable Read
Tinsley’s all grown up and is still a troublemaker in this cute story. Pierce got a whiff of her and it was game over. Their story is fun and full of shenanigans. I want to live in New Hope now.
