He carries a past soaked in guilt. She carries scars no one sees. Together, they might just save each other.
Beast never talks about the night that changed everything, the crash, the blood, the friend he couldn’t save. It was supposed to be buried in the past, locked away with the rest of his demons. But when a ghost from that night comes back for revenge, it’s Bishop who pays the price.
Run off a desolate road and left for dead, Beast is pinned beneath his bike, bleeding, broken, and alone. Until Larkin.
Loyal. Quiet. Stronger than she looks. She stays. She fights for him. Even when the cops ask questions. Even when it puts a target on her back.
As Beast struggles to recover, haunted, scarred, and convinced no one could love what’s left of him, Larkin refuses to leave. Even when he tries to push her away.
She sees something he doesn’t.
She sees the man beneath the wreckage.
But the past isn’t done with them yet. And the road to healing might just lead them straight into hell.

Well hell. Where to begin and what to say that won't give anything away. Yeah good luck to me with that right. So here goes. Beast has been carrying guilt around for eighteen years. Does he deserve to feel that way? I don't think he does. But sometimes when shit happens and you think it's your fault you get it stuck in your head and heart that you don't deserve anything good in your life. Well that's Beast in a nutshell. Now we have Larkin. It never really goes into any kind of detail about what she went through. It's implied that she went through hell. I wish we could have had a bit more information about her past. I don't mean the gritty details but something to let us as the readers know was it her whole life or just someone she was with. That's the only part of this story that bothered me. I liked how Larkin stayed with Beast when he was hit by the truck. She didn't give into her fear or listen to Beast when he told her to leave. The two of them together worked. They wait I'm not going to keep telling you about them or what happens. Just read the book yourself. It really is good. I hope the next one comes out soon.

"For once, Danny's scream isn't the loudest thing in my head. Her laugh is. Her voice. Her words. I've been yours since the road."
With names like Larkin and Beast how can you not pick up this book! When Larkin witnesses a member of the local bike gang run off the road she doesn't run away like most would. Instead she runs towards danger and insists on being a safe space for Beast. Beast is your typical grumpy biker and does everything he can to push her away. But Larkin holds her own and i bloody loved it! There is so much more to this book but i don't want to spoil it for you.
I found myself giggling at certain points and the depth this plot goes is deep. So far Bishop and Beast have given me SOA vibes with twists and I bloody love it! That isn't just because its a motorbike gang either, there's do much more to it. Claire as always you've done amazing and I loved it! Thankfully we don't have to wait long for the next book in the series.

She Sees The Name Beneath The Wreckage
This is the second book in the series, and i loved it just as much as the first. I adore Beast and Larkin's story; they find healing in each other's trauma.
Beast is so broken from his guilt that he doesn't believe he should be saved, but Larkin refuses to leave. Even before she knows who he is, she carries her own scars and just wants to be seen. This is such a great story full of healing and love with a sexy biker and a stubborn woman, what's not to love?
Can the beauty tame the beast? Can the grumpy beast accept the help of a thoughtful beauty? Damn right he can
Larkin is a sweet soul who can hold her own against an encounter that no one seen coming, when the grumpy beast has an accident involving a motorbike, Larkin doesn’t hesitate to help which involves getting the help from the MC Crew he is in.
I loved this book and I can’t wait to see where else this series will take me
An excellent read, I absolutely loved Beast and Larkin’s story ❤️❤️❤️ two damaged hearts healing each other. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
When Larkin sees a biker get run off the road, she doesn’t hesitate to muck in. Disregarding her own safety, she stays by his side holding his hand until the blue lights turn up. Turns out the biker is Beast—a proper grumpy, gruff sod who's completely flabbergasted to find Larkin still sitting by his hospital bed when he comes to. He tries to give her the elbow, but she’s not having any of it and stands her ground. Before long, they realize they’re completely mad about each other and joined at the hip. But it’s not all plain sailing. Both of them are haunted by some right dodgy ghosts from their pasts, which puts a massive target on their backs. Packed with twists, turns, danger, and proper trauma, it ends on a massive cliffhanger that'll leave you absolutely gutted you haven't got the next book yet.
Larkin keeps herself in the background she takes everything in she just doesn’t like to be the center of attention she likes her own company but she will never admit she’s lonely Beast is the enforcer of MC he carries around a darkness in himself of guilt of a car crash 18 years ago, where his best friend died. The guilt is so unbearable at times he just knows that he will never find anybody because he’s not worthy of it. He feels unjust that he didn’t die instead of his best friend even though it was his friend driving drunk One night when Larkin was driving home she saw a motorcycle hit on purpose by a truck. She stopped to help and keep the man talking until she could get help there. She wouldn’t leave me alone. She put herself in front of him so that nobody could hurt him. She stopped him from dying and from that day on, they were never apart.
Larkin doesn’t hesitate to stop and help the biker she has just witnessed being runoff the road, with no thought to her own safety she stays holding his hand until help arrives.
When grumpy, gruff Beast wakes in the hospital, he is surprised that Larkin is at his bedside. He tries to push her away, but Larkin isn’t going anywhere.
A great story of a couple who can’t be without each other. Both are haunted by their past, some ghosts are dangerous and Beast and Larkin are a target. Plenty of twists and turns, danger and trauma with an ending leaving me impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.
Beast is book 2 in the Sons Of Havoc MC, Phoenix Chapter. It's Beast and Larkin's grumpy/sunshine story Beast of course is the grump and Larkin is a sweet, bright spot in his otherwise dim day but he's too foolish to realize it at first. She does not hesitate for one minute to stop and help him when he runs into trouble and she stays right by his side. Both of these characters have troubled pasts and they eventually discover that they're better fighting together than apart. Beast is a great, engaging read that holds your attention firmly in place from start to finish. Well done Ms. Shaw!
I love the depth of this story, how Larkin can hold her own in a world that’s completely new to her, keep her calm and cool with beast when he’s hurting and pushing everyone away while trying to deal with his own trauma.
This is definitely one of the more deeper books of Claire’s and I cannot wait to see what else the Phoenix chapter has in store for us!
Beast is haunted by his past and whe ot comes back it does woth vengeance, sriven off the road, its local Larkin who comes to his aid and offer a safe space, he tries to push her away, he cant drag an innocent into his troubles, but Larkins here to stay. Well written engaging steamy desires drama action and more
The series continues to provide us with an entertaining story. Even with the broken history, this couple is able to come back with a happy ending together.
