She came to give him a piece of her mind. Now she’s stuck working for him.Having ditched big city life to raise her daughter alone while housekeeping for a small-town B&B, Beth Anne juggles the demands of her demanding manager while secretly swooning over the local gardener Steven.
But when she works herself to the bone one too many times, her jet-setting sister RayLynn flies down from Boston to chew out her boss—and instead finds herself saddled with keeping the B&B from falling apart. Dead-set on getting her sister back to the city, she’s left butting heads with her infuriating—and maddeningly attractive—impromptu boss Corbin.
Corbin is hell-bent on solving the mystery behind his wife’s death. And when RayLynn makes a shocking discovery, they’re quickly entangled in a mission to unravel what happened that fateful New Year’s Day. Meanwhile, Beth Anne is scheming on how she can play matchmaker for Corbin and keep her sister from leaving.
As feelings start to simmer and lonely hearts begin to crack, will RayLynn and Corbin reignite their love lives in the unlikeliest way? And will the two sisters embrace a future together in the beautiful forests and towns of Maine?
With a thrilling blend of wholesome HEA romance and cozy mystery that will keep you guessing until the very last page, The Snug Harbor B&B is a delightful women’s fiction series that will warm your heart on a cold winter’s day.
Grace Meyers is an author of beachy feel-good romances and women's contemporary fiction. She was born in the south, but has traveled a bit since then and now lives in a small coastal town.
Why is RayLynn stuck on insisting Beth Anne and Raven move back to Boston with her. Her character rubs me the wrong way, I get that she worries about her sister and niece, but she RayLynn needs to understand that she is not the boss of her sister. I do like the chemistry between Corbin and RayLynn. Maybe they can help each other out and relax. The diary RayLynn found should be given to Corbin as it does not belong to her. I cannot wait to read what happens next and how they will navigate their feelings while trying to solve what really happened to Corbin's late wife. I love how loving and caring Steven is with Beth Anne and her daughter Raven. They are so adorable together. Corbin cannot interfere as he too is sweet on RayLynn;)
Beth Anne continues to battle sickness meanwhile Corbin tells RayLynn she needs to fill in for her sister and help with cleaning the inn
Sparks fly between RayLynn and Corbin. Beth Anne wishes she and Stephen were closer. Will RayLynn give up on her idea of convincing Beth Anne to move home to Maine?
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
Had to Stop reading because there were so many typos and poor sentence structure. I was wondering if Ms. Meyers was new to this country and lanuage. Its like she missed whole trains of thought. Sorry for the poor review, but it was impossible to read coherently.
