The heartwarming and uplifting summer holiday read from the Sunday Times bestselling author, Katie Fforde.

She's found her dream home but can she make her dreams a reality?

Hattie finds other people their dream homes for a living.

Surely she, of all people, has the connections and the knowledge to find her own forever home? Instead, she baffles those closest to her by choosing to pack up and move every few months from one housesitting job to the next.

Of course, that's because she knows where she wants to live. It's a beautiful house owned by a lovely old woman who'd simply love for Hattie to have it.

But nothing is ever that simple.

There's Clive who refuses to listen to his great-aunt's wishes about her house. There's Luke, Hattie's oldest friend, who just wants to see her happy. And there's Hattie herself. It might take a difficult client, an awkward teenager and a couple of dogs to help her see what really makes a house a home.

A sweet, cosy and undemanding read that was just what I was hoping for.

Hattie is a property finder (Kirstie and Phil style but without the strong opinions and long scarves) finding houses for people in the Cotswolds. She also has ‘visions’ from time to time that she acts on to bring people together who are meant to be together, per her ‘visions’. Much of the action in the book comes from Hattie inventing sometimes cringe inducing ways of matchmaking that seem to pay off with improbable speed. But then I was not here for the gritty realism but rather the pretty cottages with sloping wildflower-haven gardens and pots of flowers on the windowsills and there was lots of that.

I loved Xander her teenage nephew and Mary the old dear (there’s always an old dear) they brought lots of warmth and some humour to the story with their candid remarks and the various side characters but I wasn’t very struck with Luke, he seemed a bit wet, wish he’d been a bit more alpha. He came to Hattie’s rescue a few times but mainly Hattie was perfectly fine on her own. There was some decent jeopardy towards the end that kept me reading late into the night.

Mainly though it was cozy escapism with the added bonus of pretty cottages and gardens. If that’s your thing you’ll enjoy it. 3.5 stars.

Thanks to netgalley for the arc.

I haven't read a Katie Fforde book in years, having moved away from the genre in general, but I could not resist the gorgeous cover and synopsis!

I am delighted to have made an exception for this book, which kept me engaged and smiling from cover to cover. We meet Hattie, who is a house finder (new dream job unlocked, makes my Right Move searching worthwhile!) and who herself stays in different properties without being tied down.

We meet some lovely characters, and friends of Hattie, along the way - including nephew Xander, who was one of my favourites, they had such a lovely relationship. There were a few subplots to this book, so plenty to keep me interested and entertained.

There were some elements, like the visions Hattie had, that I didn't feel were necessary, but all in all, this was a great and cheerful read. I suspect there was a couple in the story as side characters who may have been in a previous book, and I'm tempted to now look that one up!

Many thanks to NetGalley for an advanced reading copy in exchange for an honest review.

What a cute and fun read this was.

Hattie is such a wonderful character. She’s a property finder who loves helping people find their forever homes. There’s also a little twist in there for Hattie and who she is but I won’t spoil that.

When her sister asks her to look after her son (Hattie’s nephew) she agrees even whilst not knowing much about kids

Xander was so lovely. He’s a shy kid that likes things a certain way that slowly branch out whilst being with his aunt. It’s so lovely seeing him come out of his shell and into the wonderful lad that he is.

Then we have Luke, this guy had my heart from the get go. He’s the fixer upper, he’d do anything and everything to help rose out. He’s kind and lovely and a dog dad, how adorable!

There were so many more characters in this book that were lovable, they each had their own personalities that I loved to learn about. I sure do hope we get more from the characters in this world because I miss them already.

Unbelievably, this is my first read from Katie Fforde but now I know how brilliant her writing is it won’t be my last.

Oh my! It was lovely to read another book by Katie Fforde. I just love her writing style. A Cottage in the Country felt like a return to Katie’s familiar style, as her more recent books have mainly been from a series set in the sixties, along with a delightful story set on the Caribbean Island of Dominica. This time, we are back on familiar territory where we encounter a strong, independent woman who doesn’t need a romance to define her.

Our protagonist, Hattie, is a House Hunter. She searches out suitable homes for her clients and then presents a shortlist of options. Pretty much in the style of Kirstie and Phil from Location, Location, Location. She has a strained relationship with her parents and her older sister. However, she has a very close relationship with her best friend, Luke, who’s a local builder, and Mary, a nonagenarian who lives in Hattie’s dream cottage. She is also very close to her friend Rose and her husband Sam, who found their happy ever after through Hattie. I just loved Hattie and her chaotic life. Her heart was true, yet she was filled with self-doubt that held her back from finding happiness.

As the story unfolded, I felt a real sense of community as Hattie’s kindness touched so many people, drawing them into her circle. The characters were perfectly developed, but Hattie’s story arc thrilled me. She was just magnificent.

This gorgeous book is filled with some of the loveliest moments and characters. The local area and houses introduced a real sense of place to the book, and as a lover of the Cotswolds, I adored it.

I urge you to read this lovely book; it’s a real treat!

Haven't read a Katie Fforde book for a number of years but this new one was just as I remember her stories - a really nice, easy read. This one is based around Hattie, a property hunter who lives in a lovely part of the country. As well as her sister, who goes to work in Switzerland, leaving her teenage son with Hattie, she has lots of friends, including her best friend, Luke and an elderly lady called Mary. In fact, despite her job, she doesn't have a home of her own - she simply moves on from one rented place to another. Her dream house is actually Mary's cottage. Mary would love to leave it to her but Mary's great-nephew has plenty to say about that and will do anything it takes to stop Hattie getting it. There is plenty going on in this book, with one of the main themes being her friendship with Luke - everyone else seems to think there's more to it than that but Hattie is so afraid of losing the friendship that she won't allow herself to think past that. If you would like to find out what happens, you'll have to read it for yourself (but I'm sure you won't be disappointed)!

Sometimes I felt the writing was a little disjointed and some bits didn't quite feel finished but overall, if you're after a feel-good read, I would recommend this book.

This was a fun, cosy read! A real feel-good story of love, friendship and family spanning generations. Hattie was a relatable and funny protagonist and I especially loved her relationships with her elderly friend Mary and nephew Xander - I often find side characters don’t get much development due to the main romance, but thankfully that wasn’t the case here at all! Speaking of romance though, I loved Luke and Hattie’s relationship and the family unit they fell into (nephew and dogs included).

Initially, we seemed to jump straight into the plot with little context and I did feel that some of the storylines unfolded unrealistically quickly, but it is a work of fiction after all! The more I read, the more I enjoyed this story. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice, easy romcom to brighten up the gloomy winter days. Thank you to the publisher, author and NetGalley for the ARC!

I was so excited to get my hands on another Katie Fforde book. Whenever I pick one up, I know I’m in for a feel good story filled with believable characters, gentle humour, and wonderfully down to earth plotlines. This one was no exception — it had that comforting, uplifting charm I’ve come to expect from her writing.

Hattie has her dream job — finding the perfect homes for other people and matching them with the places they’ve always longed for. The only snag is that her own dream cottage is currently lived in by a close friend. Thankfully, Luke, her oldest and most loyal companion, is always there to lend a hand and look out for her. But when Hattie’s sister suddenly leaves her teenage son in her care, and Hattie is forced to move out of her rental, life becomes far more complicated than she ever expected. Add in Hattie’s uncanny visions, and you’ve got a charming, feel good story that’s impossible to put down.

What makes this story especially delightful is the way Katie Fforde brings every character to life with such warmth and authenticity. Hattie, Luke, and the people who weave in and out of her world feel wonderfully real — relatable, flawed, and easy to root for. It’s that believable cast, combined with Fforde’s trademark charm, that turns this into the kind of uplifting read you finish with a smile.

Katie Fforde’s new book A Cottage in the Country delivers satisfaction for this Katie Fjorde fan. Her books are like sitting down with an old friend. The characters are so relatable, the ones you like and the ones you don’t.
Hattie finds houses for people and she is good at her job, cheerful and optimistic. Oddly, however, she can’t seem to find a place of her own and flits about from one rental to another. Her dream home is the old cottage where her elderly friend lives, Mary, who would dearly like to leave it to Hattie when she dies. But Mary’s nephew has other ideas.
A good read. If you’re a fan of Katie Fjorde you won’t be disappointed with this new addition. Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for the chance to read an early copy.

This was a really cute, comforting read with a lovely heart at its centre. I enjoyed Hattie as a protagonist and the idea of someone who finds dream homes for others while struggling to claim one for herself felt relatable and well done.

There were moments where the story dragged slightly and could have been a bit tighter, but overall I really enjoyed the journey. The supporting characters (and dogs!) added a lot of charm, and the ending delivered a very satisfying, feel-good HEA that made it all worth it.

I loved this book!!

It was full of cosy vibes, interwoven with an exploration of friendship, love, and meaningful relationships.

It is full of Katie Fforde's usual charm, and it tackles some big topics in a delicate way. A Cottage In The Country evoked all the emotions, and it's a story I will happily read over and over.

Oh I do love a Katie Fforde book, always just the right amount of fluff and excitement! 🥰

Such beautifully written story full of love, family and friendships. The characters are so relatable and in one way or another we’ve definitely come across a Hattie, Fiona or Clive in our time.

I really enjoyed friendships and relationships that develop throughout.

My heart broke at the thought of poor Hattie being so devoted to helping others find their forever home but not being able to find her own, and watching Fiona and Nick falling so in love, but perhaps never getting to find that happiness herself! Then the anger towards Clive, with such an uncaring callous nature towards his great Aunt, leaving Hattie homeless and longing to settle. It definitely took me on an emotional rollercoaster!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for my ARC it did not disappoint!

A Cottage in the Country is Katie Fforde at her absolute finest. This reminds me slightly of her earlier books so much that I am going to revisit some of her earlier work!

A Cottage in the Country has everything - a wonderful setting that I would willingly pack up and move to immediately and a lovely array of characters that you can't help but love, each with their own story that blends brilliantly and all linked to Hattie, our main character.

Hattie is a lovely main character, house finder and friend to many, she flits from house to house, never really wanting to put down roots but it all changes when her sister has to move to Switzerland for a job and her teenage son, Xander is starting college. Hattie steps in and settles into a routine with Xander and her friend Luke and his two lovely dogs. I really loved how the story flowed with the character and I really had a soft spot for Fiona, previously a house finding client and now friend and Mary, a 90 year old with a cottage that Hattie adores but a scrupulous nephew hanging around, both had interesting (and gripping) storylines that kept me turning the pages.

Very sad to have finished but I'm looking forward to what the author has in store for us next time!

Hattie spends her days finding the perfect homes for her clients, and yet she has yet to buy one for herself - even though she knows exactly which one she would pick. Her dream home is owned by her elderly friend Mary, and although Mary would dearly love for Hattie to buy it, there is a stumbling block... Clive, Mary's penny-pinching great nephew, who refuses to consider his great-aunt's needs and wishes.

Meanwhile, Hattie flits from rented property to rented property, relying of her oldest friend, builder Luke, to come to her aid in an emergency. She sometimes thinks that she and Luke could be something more, but she is unwilling to spoil their friendship.

Then her sister asks Hattie if her son Xander can come and stay with her while she is away working in Switzerland. Hattie is unsure she is the right person to look after a teenager, but knows she will be able to rely on Luke's help. She does not realise that Xander's arrival will show her what makes a house a 'home'...

A Katie Fforde book is always balm for the soul, and this one turned out to be just the tonic I needed! I loved Hattie from the start. Her unconventional style, her kindness, her intuition, and her ability to see glimpses of the future for the people around her (inherited from her wild Irish granny) make her easy to take to your heart - but finding her own happiness proves to be a little more tricky.

As the story unfurls, Hattie's big heart and her insightful visions allow her to steer her friends and loved ones towards their perfect partners. This generally involves complicated, and highly entertaining matchmaking schemes. And yet she struggles to see where her own heart really lies, until the moment she realises who she wants has been there all along. Ahh.

Fforde being Fforde, she handles all the messy business of friendship, family, and finding the perfect soul-mate to perfection. Lovely themes run through the threads of the story, touching on almost every character in the very likeable supporting cast (which includes Luke's adorable dogs Frank and Fearless); and there are even a couple of very creditable villains to loathe (looking at you Lance and Clive) who Fforde uses to explore controlling relationships, and those more concerned with a future inheritance rather than the well-being of an elderly relative (how I loved, and worried about, Mary). I really enjoyed all the house hunting in the beautiful Cotswolds too.

Tissues were required on more than one occasion when it came to the developments in Hattie's relationships with Xander and her hitherto spiky sister. And the slow-burn romance between Hattie and Luke is enchanting... more tissues required to mop up the tears when their happy ending eventually rolled around.

Possibly my favourite feel-good Fforde book yet. I adored it!

Hattie finds other people their dream homes for a living - while she has no home at all, house sitting for other people and moving every few months. Her life is full and simple - that is until her sister foists her nephew on to her for a few months. That proves to be the catalyst that changes everything.

Full disclosure: I love all Katie Fforde books. The characters are so real they almost lift off the page. Her stories are rarely the most dramatic, but they are satisfying and warming, a proper panacea to the often harsh realities of life. I have enjoyed the last couple I have read and have still given them five stars, but they have strayed from her usual rural England type settings in either timeline or location. But. This one is back to the type of Katie Fforde book I love best. Real people who she somehow avoids turning into caricatures. Somehow within moments of meeting the characters in this book I felt I had known them forever. There were multiple story lines, which were not every day, but equally realistic enough that you felt they could happen. The male best friend, the bossy older sister, the avaricious nephew. A Katie Fforde is not only like immersing yourself in a perfectly warm bath, but one with expensive bath oils, candles, wine and chocolates. I loved this book (did you guess?) and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for an escape for a few hours. Prepare to turn off your phone, cancel your plans and ignore your family, because once you have started this book, you won't want to stop. Yet, as with all great books, once you have finished it,you will wish that you had savoured it. Fabulous. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

This is an easy read from Katie, Fforde, wonderful characters, and an equally wonderful setting.
Although Hattie's job is searching out houses for other people, more personal than using estate agents, she doesn't have a home of her own, instead, she house sits vacant properties moving frequently from one to another.
Hattie has a very good circle of friends including Luke, her best friend, a friend who would like more, but Hattie doesn't want to compromise their friendship.
Being blessed with second sight from her Irish grandmother, Hattie has visions, visions that are not always welcome, visions that can affect people's lives, Visions that cause Hattie to manipulate to create happiness and avert disaster.
Mary is one of Hattie's friends, a friend that Hattie worries about. Mary is nearly ninety years old, very frail and living in Hattie's dream cottage, Mary's only relative is an avaricious, self seeking nephew who refuses to ensure that Mary's last days are spent in comfort, being cared for, but Mary has Hattie fighting her corner.
This is a gentle, emotional story, I loved how Hattie cared for Mary, I loved the relationship that grew between Hattie and her nephew, Xander, a nephew who was foisted on her by her controlling older sister, but most of all I loved patient, caring Luke who was always waiting in the wings, waiting for Hattie to face her own fears.
Thank you Net Gallery for this ARC, my review is totally voluntary.

After a few years of writing books set in the 1960s and one in the Caribbean with a dithery heroine, it was good to read a Katie Fforde book set in the present and with a relatable heroine.

Hattie is a house finder, searching for people's dream homes. Even though she cannot find her own dream house, she's been content house sitting for others, supported by her friends Rose and Luke and supporting her elderly friend, Mary. But then circumstances force her to rethink her options: her teenage nephew comes to stay with her, her house sitting stops being a good option and Mary's nephew increases his interference into her life. To cap it all, the visions of the future which Hattie has had all her life, become more frequent and force her into situations which she would normally avoid.

Accepting the idea of the visions is a bit of a stretch, but they are a key feature of the story. Once that's agreed, then this is an enjoyable read with interesting characters that make you want to carry on reading to the end. From the beginning readers will probably have a fair idea where the story is going, but there are plenty of twists and turns on the way to keep you engaged.

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to access this most recent Katie Fforde which should delight her fans and new readers alike. A good book to curl up to as winter turns to spring.

Reading A Cottage in the Country feels like slipping into a warm bath after a long day—soothing, familiar, and quietly joyful. Katie Fforde once again delivers a story brimming with charm, heart, and the kind of gentle wisdom that lingers like the scent of fresh scones.

Hattie, a professional dream-home finder who hasn’t quite found her own, is a delightfully endearing heroine. Her nomadic life of house-sitting is both whimsical and quietly poignant, especially as she sets her heart on a beautiful old home that may never truly be hers. With a cast of quirky characters—including a stubborn relative, a loyal friend, and a pair of scene-stealing dogs—this novel explores what it really means to belong.

Fforde’s prose is breezy yet thoughtful, with just the right balance of humour and heartache. There’s a comforting rhythm to the story, like the ticking of a country clock, and a gentle reminder that sometimes, home isn’t a place—it’s a feeling, a community, a choice.

Perfect for a rainy afternoon with a cup of tea and a woolly blanket, A Cottage in the Country is a tender, uplifting escape into a world where love blooms slowly, and every chapter feels like a hug.

With thanks to KAtie Fforde, the publisher and netgalley for the ARC.

Katie Fforde never disappoints, and A Cottage in the Country is no exception. Her novels feel like slipping into a pair of well worn slippers, comforting, familiar, and completely reliable. You know precisely the kind of warmth you’re getting, and she delivers it beautifully.
At the heart of the story is Hattie, who quite literally accommodates everyone (pun fully intended) by helping people find their dream homes. With an intuitive, almost sixth sense ability to read situations and people, she effortlessly steers her customers, friends, and even her sibling toward the right paths, especially when it comes to love. Ironically, the one future she fails to see clearly is her own, even when the answer is standing right in front of her.
The novel is sprinkled with gentle nostalgia through Hattie’s friendship with an elderly companion, balanced with a touch of drama brought in by her friend’s nephew. These elements add depth without disturbing the cosy rhythm Fforde does so well.
All in all, A Cottage in the Country is a charming, feel-good read—one you’ll finish with a smile and happily pass along to the next person who picks it up—perfect comfort reading from an author who knows exactly how to make you feel at home.

All the happy vibes reading this book! The author does it again!! Creating the loveliest of characters and bringing their lives to life!

Hattie is the main character in this book and she's one of the good souls in the world! always there for others, helping people and remaining calm when faced with demanding clients! She's a house hunter for others, but is still searching for a permanent home for herself, even though she has clear pictures in her head of where she think she'll end up!

She also finds herself as the guardian for her 15year old nephew, after her sister moves abroad, and this new path in life scares her as she's had no experience of looking after children, let alone a teenager but she soon finds out it's not as scary as she thinks it might be!

Some of the clients she meets are vile, and you can sense her frustration with some and also her not wanting to cross boundaries when she clearly wants to let people know what they can't see in front of them before they ruin their lives! I loved how the story flowed well between the personal and professional dilemmas and I loved how she was always willing to try something new! Fabulous read!

I always enjoy the satisfying, cozy escapism of a Katie Fforde novel. I’ve read them all several times each. However, while I really liked this book and some of the new elements the author introduced (the visions, the matchmaking), I wish she’d been more straightforward in naming the behavior of a few antagonists.

.

MILD SPOILER

One or two of the characters are straight up abusive. Katie’s protagonists are able to recognize and prevent the abuse, but I think it’s important to state that these controlling, threatening men aren’t just “bullies”. They’re abusive, their behavior shouldn’t be whitewashed and the characters should use resources to protect themselves and call the abusers to account. Millions of readers love these books (and I’m one!) and there’s an opportunity here to educate while entertaining, because domestic abuse is a pervasive issue. In the US, 41% of women and 26% of men experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime, according to the National Domestic Violence hotline.

I don’t know if anyone will read this review, but I had to post. Enjoy the book, learn, protect and work to stop domestic abuse.

I’m a huge fan of Katie Fford, so I was excited to delve into this book. I have to say, initially I wasn’t entirely struck by this book, it felt a little bit different to other Katie Fford books, and the visions Hattie got really threw me. However I carried on as the descriptions were beautiful and the characters were well rounded and easy to identify with.

I’m pleased I did as I really enjoyed the story, Hattie and Luke were great together, It was a bit annoying how they never seemed to communicate very well, when a simple honest conversation could of had them together sooner, especially when it later appears that Luke slowly tricks her into revealing her feelings by getting her to pretend to be his girlfriend.

I was fascinated by Mary and I loved all the scenes with her and Hattie, I really wanted her to tell Clive to get lost and cut off his inheritance and stick with Hattie. Hattie’s devotion to her is very touching.

A good read with some solid friendships, especially considering the age ranges with Xander thrown into the mix.

Quintessentially English and completely charming here is the latest from Katie Fforde full of heart warming comfort reading with her unique magic!
Hattie has forged a life finding the perfect homes for her clients, along with random house sitting which has worked up to now, but she has no security. Her favourite house belongs to her dear friend Mary, her ideal home but beyond her reach. Her best friend is a builder who helps her with some much needed jobs with a pair of dogs she sometimes has to stay. When her sister Leonie asks for Hattie to look after her 15 year old son whilst she works in Switzerland Hattie begins to see her life differently.
Some wonderful characters, great family differences and dynamics, and some brilliant twists and turns in the story. An addictive read, couldn’t put it down!!
Absolutely loved this book, and didn’t want it to end!!
Hugely recommended for a totally fulfilling read!
Thank you to NetGalley and Bloomsbury books for the early read, this was a huge treat!

This was a lovely easy read, if a little predictable. Hattie is a property finder (is that a real job?) but ironically doesn't live anywhere permanently herself. One property she does dream of living in is taken but it's one she visits regularly, as her friend Mary lives there. Mary is very old and in need of proper care but her nephew is more interested in preserving his inheritance than anything else.
This is part of the story but lots of other things happen to keep you turning the pages. Including looking after her teenage nephew, helping out with a wedding and her friendship with Luke. I've read a few of the author's Christmas books but not an ordinary one. I was pleasantly surprised and found it a very entertaining read. I will definitely be reading some more from this author. I would recommend this if you are looking for a light/holiday read.
The only thing that annoyed me was the constant reference to whether Hattie was going to have an alcoholic drink or not. It didn't add anything to the story, it just made me wonder if she was a recovering alcoholic?

This was my first Katie Fforde book for a long time and what a joy it was to read.
This was a quality book with depth and a great story.
Hattie a property finder has found her dream home only it’s owned by her elderly friend Mary. Mary would love to leave her the house but her son Clive owns half and her sense of duty to him overrides her love for Hattie.
Hattie finds her self homeless and housesits for various people whilst she finds another house to buy. In amongst all of this us Luke her eldest best friend who is always around to get her out of scrapes and being a builder they work on properties together often. Hatties nephew comes to live with her and Luke helps take him under his wing too and they bond.
Hattie has visions that allow her to guide friendships to find love and the perfect house.
This really is a great book and I really recommend it.
Thank you NetGalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

A Cottage in the Country is a cosy, wholesome and very easy read – perfect for the pool or beach when you want something relaxing and undemanding. The Cotswolds setting is charming, the characters are likeable, and Hattie’s role as a house finder who can’t quite find her own home is a pleasing central hook.

That said, the story is highly predictable and never particularly taxing. Some situations felt as though they could have been explored in more depth, and while the slow-burn relationship between Luke and Hattie is warm, a little more tension or “fizz” might have added extra sparkle. Still, this may simply reflect Katie Fforde’s gentle, comforting style.

Overall, a pleasant, feel-good read that does exactly what it promises – familiar, cosy and ideal when you’re in the mood for something light rather than challenging. Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the advanced reader copy.

I have read all of Katie Fforde's novels, and love almost every one of them. I have even re-read them many times over. However, this story seemed much too disjointed and unbelieveable. (The bride leaves her groom at the altar, then goes on holiday to France with another man she just met the same day?? Of course, they end up coming back from holiday completely in love and engaged.) Why was the parents' golden anniversary party necessary to the story? It didn't fit. Hattie also sets up her sister with a new man and they fall instantly in love too. But Hattie can't see that her best friend, Luke, who will do anything for her, is in love with her. Just too many disjointed storylines in this novel that seemed rushed and yet the Hattie/Luke theme took forever (ie the end of the book) to move along. Definitely not Katie's usual fully developed stories written with humour, great settings, interesting jobs, and loving characters.

I have always loved Katie Ffordes books and think a cottage in the country has to be my new favourite!
This book is totally enchanting, wholesome, cosy and has a real feel good factor to it, I so enjoyed the wonderfully diverse characters, the picturesque setting, the sense of community and friendship and the overall joy the book brought!
Hattie the main character is a house hunter who always goes the extra mile for her clients finding their dream homes for them, despite her job Hattie has no permanent fixed abode of her own but plenty of friends who are willing to help her out as needed.
Throughout the book we follow Hattie as her circumstances change, her relationships with family and friends evolve and her quest to find the perfect home for herself
Such a feel good read that i would highly recommend
Thank you NetGalley for this early read
