All I wanted for Christmas was a flight home to my Grandma’s cookies.Instead, I got unwrapped by a silver fox billionaire at 30,000 feet.
The flight was a disaster until Marcel Dubois saved me. Older. Sophisticated. Richer than sin. He offered his private suite. I gave him my virginity. The rule was One night. No names. No strings.
But the holidays are full of surprises. When I walk into my new job to save my grandmother's town, I freeze. The ruthless developer bulldozing our library? It's him. The Grinch stealing our Christmas? Him.
Now I’m working side-by-side with the enemy. He’s cold, calculating, and hates the holidays. I’m fighting to save my family’s legacy. But every time we get snowed in at the office, his possessive gaze melts my defenses.
I can fight him in the boardroom. I can try to resist him in the bedroom. Yet I can’t hide the truth I’m carrying the Grinch’s baby. But can a ruthless tycoon who destroys homes ever build a real family with the woman standing in his way?
She gets upgraded to first class. He's a billionaire used to rich elitist women who are more interested in his money but she's young and not putting on a show for him. Her gran is a hoot but this French has a heart underneath everything. A feel good romance with lots of happily everafters included.
This is book one in the series and just a feel good story. Juliet is a college student on her way to see her grandmother for Christmas. Her parents decided to go to Aruba. On the flight to Rhode Island, Juliet meets a handsome silver fox named Marcel who is attracted to her in the most respectful way. From the plane ride to the office, both Juliet and Marcel fight for what’s right and to make things better. It was a sweetheart story on how these two come together for their happy ending. Read On!
So beautiful to read and crafted in such a way that the delightful characters are described succinctly with adept brevity and full force (something of an oxymoron !) The storyline was packed with base line, obviously necessary, info for the series, however, what surprises is the amount of info given and the expertise in the brevity of words used ! It was delightful also to read the prequel....... Onward!!
Absolutely loves this story, and could see this couple as their own series!! Wish it was linger, would love to see them further down the road with multiple kids, and restoration communities under their belts.
Had me laughing and completely caught up in the characters. I look forward to reading the next story. I got a little confused about “The Quattro” because I thought some of the guys were married in this book. I will read on and see :). Thank you again!
