Olivia Cunning presents two new sizzling novellas from her bestselling One Night with Sole Regret series.

Tell Me: Gabriel "Force" Banner has been unable to get a certain sexy accountant out of his head. Sole Regret's inventive drummer has created big plans to keep sweet Melanie entertained all weekend long. When they leave behind the bustle of New Orleans and the rock 'n' roll, their romantic weekend seems to be back on track. But life has a way of butting in at the worst possible times.

Tease Me: Adam Taylor, the lead guitarist of Sole Regret, always walked the world alone, until he opened his heart and his world to his sweet, reserved rehab counselor. The tender emotions that Madison draws to the surface have him considering his future for the first time in his life, while his impulsive, reckless side causes her passion to burn bright. But can a man as wild as Adam be tamed enough for a serious relationship?

Combining her love for romantic fiction and rock ‘n roll, Olivia Cunning writes erotic romance centered around rock musicians. Raised on hard rock music from the cradle, she attended her first Styx concert at age six and fell instantly in love with live music. She's been known to travel over a thousand miles just to see a favorite band in concert. As a teen, she discovered her second love, romantic fiction -- first, voraciously reading steamy romance novels and then penning her own. Growing up as the daughter of a career soldier, she's lived all over the country and overseas. She recently moved to Galveston, Texas.

I <3 the poop out of Force. I could read him over and over and over again.. Oh that's right I have!!
Now I like Melanie I really do, I think she is good for Gabe and he is good for her. But I do think she needs to set some ground rules for Nikki because this girl needs them and Mel needs to really stick to them.

I love reading the scenes with them on stage. Those are some of my favorites. Olivia really captures what I think a concert like that would be like.
I hate when these books end I just want more, more, more.
I felt so sad for Lady I even had a tear. I get why it needed to happen to bring the story around but I hated it.

Can we buy some of Force's inventions? Hot damn they sound interesting!
Adam and Madison's first book really hit me. This guy was totally the typical rock star right. But he found his way back from addiction and a messed up family life. That's not to say it’s all left in the past how can it be. But Madison was his saving grace you could say. And for her it was him as well even if she doesn't trust herself to see that.

I never wanted this book to end sadly it has to as all books do.. But we get more of these guys in future books so that's a plus. :)

Tell Me is the continuation of Gabe & Melanie's new relationship. He finally invites her to a show on tour (all the guys are breaking the "no girlfriend/wives on tour" rule). She's excited and then best friend Nikki, who is still after Shade, manipulates Melanie and shows up on the airplane. Determined not to let her friend ruin her weekend she and Gabe come up with a plan. Gabe has no intentions of someone intruding on their weekend so Nikki gets sent to the bands hotel room for the weekend and Melanie and Gabe go to his home. She meets his parents and gets to know the side of Gabe and not the rock star persona. Nikki still manages to intrude with devastating circumstances and surprising revelations causing a rift between Gabe & Melanie. Also continuing in the arc is Lindsey who is still trying to tie one of the band members to her pregnancy
Tease Me is the continuation of Adam & Madison's relationship. A bombshell at work has Madison reevaluating her feelings for Adam and heading out to spend tome with him. He's newly clean and sober and wanting to be with Madison. She has acquired a stalker from the airplane who seems to pop up in the most unexpected places. As she and Adam explore their relationship they partake in something that will make or break the relationship. Adam wants it all and Madison is running scared. Also Madison, Melanie, & Dawn all finally meets as the band's significant others and along that Lindsay is still in the background trying to get a band member to own up to her pregnancy

Tell Me
Gabe/Force (drummer) and Melanie
Now that I've completed the first 5 days/nights, we get to start back with Gabe and Melanie. I'm already tired of Nikki; I really don't feel sorry for her. She's a manipulative slut and it really bothers me that Melanie lets her walk all over her and allows Nikki to depend on her so heavily. Next book is Gabe/Melanie's story should be interesting, considering their plan for the future.

I really like how this series is written, one day/night and we move on to the next couple on a new day. As they all begin to interact, it's fun to experience the thoughts and impressions the current main characters have of the other characters as they interact.

Tease Me
Adam (lead guitar) and Madison
I definitely have a problem connecting with these two. I understand why he's damaged, but I don't get why she's such a mess.

Again, I enjoy how Ms. Cunning advances the storylines of the other books/characters that aren't the focus of this particular book.

TM/TM is another great addition to the Sole Regret series. Olivia Cunning never disappoints.

Tell Me: I find it hard at times to pick me favorite Sole Regret member/couple but Gabe and Melanie are definitely at the top of my list. I loved their time away from the tour and I can’t wait for their next book.

Tease Me: I’ve been anticipating Adam and Madison’s second book for a while now. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen when Adam brought her to the sex club. IMO the scene was over too quickly, maybe that’s because I had it built up in my mind for so long. I was hugely disappointed in Adam’s reaction to it all. I felt for Madison so much after that scene. Even though it was the catalyst he needed to push him forward I still wanted to punch him. I look forward to their next book to see what’s in store for their future and of course hoping to get that BIG question answered!!

While the first two anthologies consisted of three novellas, Tell Me, Tease Me only has two: Tell Me and Tease Me.

Here’s my review for each:

Tell Me 3/5
MEL AND GABE ARE BACK! YAY! They’re my favourite couple in this series. This wasn’t good as the first book though… mostly because the chemistry between Mel and Gabe wasn’t as sexy in this story. Also, as with the previous book, there was a lot drama. But this time, it involves Nikki (TW: it includes a pretty accurate and unsettling account of the aftermath of rape...).

Tease Me 1.5/5
Tease Me follows Owen and Madison (in terms of the timeline of the story, it happens simultaneously as Tell Me). Owen and Madison are my least favourite couple in this series… First of all, no one should be surprised that Madison ended up getting fired from her job as an addiction counselor (seeing as she was sleeping with her client). Secondly, Owen takes Madison to a sex club to have an orgy and then gets mad at her for enjoying it. Wtf? Why take her there in the first place then? Finally, I was pretty disappointed that there was no conflict between Owen and Madison’s stalker. Owen never finds out about the creepy guy that followed Madison everywhere. What a healthy relationship. Not.

Also, the women in both of these stories were way to chill about Lindsey’s pregnancy. Sure, they freaked out at first when they realized that Lindsey’s baby could belong to anyone in the band. But then they quickly forgot about it forgave their boyfriends for cheating on them. Uh… ok.

I liked seeing the heroines grow some backbone in these episodes, and I thought the depiction of the aftermath of a rape was well done.
The library loan ended before I finished, so I'm not entirely sure what happened at the end of #7. I'm pretty sure I can figure it out, though, so I'll eventually listen to the next anthology. I'm hopeful that Cunning with finish the series relatively soon, so I don't run out before the ending.

TELL ME is a reasonably sexy story about two people who, amazingly are not complete and total head cases. They’ve each fallen head over heels and are happy to see each other. Neither suffers from a terrible illness, job loss, or drug dependency. Each even has reasonable self-esteem. But, Melanie has a friend who suffers from all kinds of problems: she’s a probably a clinical nymphomaniac, depressed, childhood rape victim, and a manipulative mess.

This story starts off hot and stays pretty hot all the way through. We get to see Gabe’s family situation and understand what makes him tick. In a family of MDs and PhDs, he plays drums and dropped out of college. Not fitting into my own family, I felt a lot of sympathy for the guy. But, even though he doesn’t feel he fits in, his house is near his parents’ house. We also get to see how much he cares about his pets. So other than Melanie’s nympho friend Nicki, this couple doesn’t face a ton of hurdles.
Even with the obligatory dust-up between the couple and stupid miscommunication scene, I enjoyed this story and its outcome.

TEASE ME ticked me right the hell off. The “HEA” in this story is more like a Stupid Ever After. Adam is getting his act together but as he does, Madison becomes her own kind of basket case. I hate the phrase “too dumb to live” but I almost have to apply it to this character. I had to force myself to listen to this story from the start to the end. Sometimes love is not enough and in this one you can be sure the HEA will not last. And, I didn’t really think it was hot because the relationship is all kinds of messed up from start to finish.

There is one scene where Adam has gotten his act together more and, just maybe, becoming less of an insecure jerk as he actually weathers a storm without resorting to substance abuse (although he still drinks??). He rediscovers his artistic mojo and I enjoyed listening to his process.

Justine does a pretty good job with the voices. I liked Melanie in particular, and I thought she gave Madison the right amount of tentative insecurity. She sounded like a bimbo. Perhaps that colored my opinion of the character who I could NOT understand as a drug rehab counselor. Ugh!

There is a lot of explicit sex in both stories; it’s erotica. It hink the sex in TELL ME is better than that in TEASE ME because I was so ticked off reading TEASE ME the sex was less enticing.

The upshot is that I would probably read them both because they are in a series that’s pretty convoluted. It’s been a while since I last read one of these and I felt a serious lack of recall on the backstory. I did not like TEASE ME but would like to know what you think about it.

Tell Me, Sole Regret 6 - Gabe and Melanie, part 2. Lots of drama..,

Tease Me, Sole Regret 7 - Adam and Madison get serious. Sort of. They are out of sync, he gives her a gang bang, she loves it and he gets pissed off.

Bought as part of audible romance package.

Nikki drove me up a wall in Tell Me and Melanie was just as bad for enabling her. Tease Me brought the book up to 3 stars.

Wow I love this authors work. My only wish was that it was a novel, so I could read it all at once instead of waiting and more waiting.
