This book first published in 1834 has the very message the church of today has great need of. Though written as a challenge to the mind of the unconverted the doctrine of repentance is presented so scripturally and forcefully that honest people, saved or lost who carefully read this great book will all agree with Christ, who said “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

Lately I have found true blessings in the older authors of our faith. This book was originally written in 1834, and captures a series of sermons on repentance. This series explores the unsaved mindset against God's judgement, then moves through acceptance and how we need to keep repentance in the forefront of a believer's mind. One seldom hears preaching like this anymore. It is heartfelt and sincere, and very convicting.
As an update, the publisher included quotes on repentance from newer men of God. I found those pages at the end of the book quick a neat bonus.
This book is highly recommended for anyone wanting to get down to the basics of Christianity, from a solid Biblical perspective.
