Levi Harrison
Being the youngest in a generational law enforcement family means everyone else is always up in my business. Instead of joining the police department, I decide to branch out. Fish and Wildlife is really where my heart is.

My mom loves it because she believes it's safer.

My dad just appreciates that I'm continuing the legacy. My sister enjoys telling people she pisses off that her dad and brother carry weapons.

What none of them know is that my partner, Dakota, and I are undercover on one of the most dangerous operations that Laurel Springs has ever seen. And in the midst of that, I'm protecting the one woman I've always wanted, Magnolia Grace, from her husband who has his hands in all of it.

Magnolia Grace Handler
Life should be perfect for me. My business as a treat maker for the town of Laurel Springs has taken off. I've finally decided to leave my husband, who hurt me in ways I've never been able to talk about publicly, and I'm coming into my own as a woman about to hit her thirties. But just when I find my footing, my husband threatens to crush it all.

In steps my best friend's little brother. I've always known Levi Harrison as Molly's little brother, but when he offers protection I don't want to ask for but desperately need, I start to see him as the man who could change my life forever.

This is the first book in a new series set once again in Laurel Springs and it features the next generation of the Harrison family. Like is grandfather and father before him, Levi has found a career in law enforcement, though he has chosen a different branch, Laurel Springs Fish and Wildlife. Levi is still fairly new to the job, but brings the same dedication and passion to it as his predecessors have before him. He is a born protector, a gentleman when it counts and a master flirt. He has never been in a serious relationship and one night stands have been the norm in the past. That changes the minute Levi is called upon to stop Magnolia from dancing on a table to the delight of the men surrounding it. He is more than happy to take charge of a drunken Magnolia Grace, as he has always thought of her, and escort her to his home when she says she can’t go to her own. From then on, Levi is determined to show Magnolia Grace that he is a fully grown man and not her best friend’s immature baby brother. He is set on claiming her for his own.

Magnolia is currently going through a contentious divorce. She is desperate to feel free to be herself and not the woman she became during the last two years of her marriage. Her own family is hardly supportive, and is far too critical. Her soon to be ex now wants a part of her earnings from her new business and everything else he can get his hands on. Magnolia is just so tired of having to work such long hours, only to have the money drained out of her accounts by the husband she is divorcing. Her past experience with her family and her marriage have taught her not to ask for help. She is determined to be independent, to keep her head down when it comes to her work, and to guard her heart. That changes though, when Levi enters the picture all grown up. He makes her feel seen, heard and safe. He also tells her that she is in control of what happens next between them.

Levi and Magnolia’s story includes some angst, a whole lot of spice and a bit of suspense. The chemistry between Levi and Magnolia is super hot. It does not go unnoticed by others, and their secret relationship is not a secret for long because of it. Levi’s family already consider Magnolia to be one of them, and she finally accepts it and Levi’s love. So many familiar characters from the past Laurel Springs Books make an appearance in this book, which only makes this book more enjoyable. I can’t wait to read the next books in this series.

I am happy to recommend this fantastic book.

Levi Harrison comes from a long line of cops, but instead of following in their footsteps, he’s carved out his own path in Fish and Wildlife. His family reckon it’s the safer option, what they don’t know is that Levi’s deep undercover in one of the most dangerous operations Laurel Springs has ever seen. On top of that, he’s determined to protect the one woman he’s always wanted, Magnolia Grace, who’s trying to escape a husband deeply tangled in the mess.

Magnolia should have it all. Her small town treat business is thriving and she’s finally found the courage to leave an abusive marriage. But just as she starts getting back on her feet, her husband threatens to tear everything down. The last person she expects to step in is her best friend’s younger brother, Levi. When he offers the protection she desperately needs, Magnolia starts seeing him in a whole new light and realises he might be the man who can change everything.

I really enjoyed this book! Despite the age difference, the relationship never once felt awkward or unbalanced. Levi had so much confidence and maturity that it was easy to forget he was younger, which I loved. He was all in from the start, ready to step up and protect Magnolia without hesitation, and honestly, that energy was one of my favourite parts of the story.

Levi’s patience with Magnolia really stood out to me. He knew when to slow things down, but he never hid how much she meant to him or backed away from what he wanted. Magnolia was such a strong, capable FMC, she’d been through a lot but she wasn’t willing to give up on the life she was building for herself. I loved how fiercely she fought for her business and how, even when self doubt crept in, she still knew her worth. Watching her slowly learn to trust Levi and let him in was incredibly satisfying.

I also really enjoyed Levi’s job and the law enforcement angle. The secrets, danger and high stakes moments added great tension and kept the story moving at a solid pace.

While the plot, romance and supporting cast were all strong, it was Levi and Magnolia who truly carried this book. Their chemistry was undeniable and their connection felt natural and well earned. Overall, this was a fast paced, engaging read with a great balance of romance, suspense and emotional depth, definitely one I’d recommend.

I absolutely love each and every book from Laramie Briscoe. She writes books that are intriguing and engaging. This is the first book in what I have no doubt is going to be a fantastic new series. Levi is the son of Caleb Harrison (Cruise Moonshine Task Force) and Grandson of Mason Harrison (Menace Moonshine Task Force) both law enforcement. Levi made the choice to stay in law enforcement just go into the Laurel Springs Fish and Wildlife division. Of course, he still carries a badge and a gun which means he still gets ask to help in tough situations. Magnolia Grace is going through a very rough nasty divorce. Her soon to be husband Cody is not the nicest of people and will not let her divorce him without the fight of her life. So, she decides to go to the local bar and ends up dancing on a table. Levi has to come to her rescue so to speak.
Things between different between the two of them from that point on. Levi has had a crush on Magnolia since he was 15. He has always wanted the chance to love her but never believed that he would be able to because of the age difference. Will he now get the chance?
Magnolia is trying to get back to the woman she was before she married Cody. Cody tore her down and she is fighting to get herself back. Little does she realize that Levi just wants to help her get there.
But something is going on under both their noses that is going to change everything not only between them but with the whole town of Laurel Springs. Will Levi be able to figure it out before someone gets hurt? What will happen between Levi and Magnolia? Will these two get a chance at happy ever after?
This was full of small-town romance, suspense, a little mystery, a protective MC and a protective sister but one amazing family who takes care of anyone and everyone. An engaging story of fear, control with a building relationship based on trust and truth kindness and stability. I absolutely loved reading about Levi and Magnolia and how their love blossomed from friendship to more. Once again Laramie wrote a great storyline about two amazing characters that you could easily relate to and cheer for.
Highly recommend.

This is the 1st book in the new Laurel Springs Fish and Wildlife series featuring Levi and Magnolia Grace's beautifully written, emotional, heartfelt, best-friend's brother, forced proximity, protector, reverse age-gap, small-town romance. Levi has grown up in a law enforcement family that is generational with both his father and his grandfather being legends in the MTF so with Levi being the youngest he doesn't want to be in their shadows. This is why Levi joins Fish and Wildlife which is still law enforcement meaning he carries a gun and a badge and he works with his best-friend Dakota. Magnolia Grace is trying to find herself the person she used to be when she hung out with her best-friend and her little brother Levi before she married Cody. A man who she thought loved her but who is truly a vicious nasty person and they're now in the middle of a nasty divorce. Levi has had a crush on Magnolia Grace since he was a teenager but he hasn't seen his sister's best-friend for a while. Levi is surprised when he's asked to remove a woman dancing on tables in the bar that it's Magnolia Grace who tells Levi that she doesn't want to go home and she has no where else to go. Levi takes her back to his place and this is where their story really begins to blossom. Levi and Magnolia Grace spend time together really getting to know each other even though they've known each other for years it's different it's as a man and a woman who have feelings for each other. Add to this Levi is assigned to a dangerous undercover operation that unbeknownst to anyone has ties close to him. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this beautifully written, emotional, heartfelt, best-friend's brother, forced proximity, protector, reverse age-gap, small-town romance to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Love visiting Laurel Springs. I feel like I know all the people in town. This is a new Series, since Ms. Briscoe has completed the Moonshine Task Force and The Laurel Springs Emergency Response team series (Personally I have 2 books left to read in that one). Levi is the sun of Caleb Harrison (Cruise Moonshine Task Force) and grandson of Mason Harrison ( Menace Moonshine Task Force). With Grandpa the chief of police and dad in charge of the K9 unit, Levi chooses to branch out a bit differently from the family tree, still in Law enforcement but on the Laurel Springs Fish and Wildlife. He still has a gun and a badge, which means he gets "dragged" into a bar to remove a woman who is dancing on a table. That would be his sister's best friend Magnolia Grace, the woman he's had a crush on since he was 15, and well she's going through a divorce.

Levi plans on just being the friend that Magnolia needs as she navigates her divorce. However, her soon to be Ex is well, a D**che. That leaves her needing a place to stay while tempers die down, and of course Levi steps right in and offers her a place to stay. He also quickly shows her how a relationship should be and not the sham her marriage was. Cody, said EX has some secrets of his own.

This book has all the suspense that you expect from any of the Laurel Springs series, as well as the steam we've come to love. Ms. Briscoe takes us back into the beloved Laurel Springs and we get to visit with many of our favorite characters. I see the bread crumb for future books within the Harrison family. The Epilogues let us know that big Sis Molly is the second book of the series.

The first book in a fantastic new series, Levi starts us out with the Laurel Springs Fish & Wildlife by Laramie Briscoe. No major trigger warnings, but as always check for your own mental well being.

This book is a kind of throwback as Levi is the son of Mason from the Moonshine Task Force series. The whole of the family are police in one manner or another, and Levi takes up the reins as well, just in a different branch. He is Fish & Wildlife, hence the name. And there the story begins. Levi and Magnolia are our main leads, they share a history together that makes their chemistry flow easy and their romance story almost feel foretold. Levi has had a crush on Magnolia since his early teen years, he’s spent time with her growing up as she is his sister’s best friend. Magnolia is in the throes of a horrible divorce from a man that isn’t worth her time, let alone her love. Here is where the story really starts to unfold. Levi and Magnolia slowly form a new bond of friendship and then love from their shared past and their new kindled love and protection of one another.

Levi and Magnolia were such a good read. As a long time fan of the author I enjoy the way her characters bond with one another and the growth they experience when they finally feel safe to do so. For fans of Laurel Springs and the characters we have come to love so much, this is a great addition to an ever growing world. I look forward to seeing what the author has in store for the rest of the series.

This is book one in The Laurel Springs Fish and Wildlife series and it is Levi and Magnolia’s story and omg what a great start to a new series and definitely a must read. Levi works for The Laurel Springs Fish and Wildlife and while on duty he gets called to a bar where he finds Magnolia dancing on the table with a mob of men standing around her so he comes to her rescue so that he can protect her as she is the one woman that he wants but can’t have. Magnolia is going through a rough divorce and now gone a bit wild and it is Levi who saves her and takes her home with him but when they kiss fireworks explode all around them and now everything had become even more complicated. When Levi and Dakota are assigned to go undercover danger is not far away but when they get there things become even more complicated but how will it all turn out in the end. The attraction, chemistry and connection between Levi and Magnolia is so strong and intense but her ex husband is determined to make things even more difficult but in the end Will Levi and Magnolia get the future that they both want and deserve after everything that they have been through, only time will tell what the outcome will be for them in the end. Wow I absolutely love this book and Levi and Magnolia have such a beautiful friendship and relationship and I absolutely love them together. This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions along with twists and turns, drama, surprises, suspense, action, danger, hope, love and some difficult situations that will keep your attention throughout. I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

This book is another sweet story in the Laurel Springs series!! Levi has been in love with his sister‘s best friend since he was 15 and never thought he would ever have a chance with her! However, now in his 20s and an enforcement officer with fishing and wildlife, things in the small town are changing!! Magnolia finds herself in the midst of a nasty divorce, and Levi is there to help her out and give her a safe place to stay until it’s final. Being in close proximity and being her support person instantly began to change the dynamic of their relationship! The friendship, trust, support and love is evident from their first interaction! And you get to follow her story from being the intimidated spouse to returning back to her stronger pre-marriage self! It’s a sweet story and a much-needed second chance for Magnolia!!! they both realize they’re with the person who they were always meant to be with!! They never would’ve imagined that his job he would cross paths with her soon to be ex-husband!! Or the drama that unfolds! I love that Laramie Briscoe has brought us back to Laurel Springs! If you haven’t read any of her books you are missing out!! Each can be read as a stand-alone, and all of them are well worth diving into!!!!!

I love a next generation book, and we see some familiar characters from the earlier series.

Levi is Caleb & Ruby’s son and Menace’s grandson. His older sister is the BFF of his love interest, Magnolia who he has been crushing on since he was a teenager. These two have been around each other all their lives and Levi has always had a crush on Molly. While Levi is in law enforcement just like the other men in his family, He wanted to make a name for himself and is employed by Laurel Springs Fish & Wildlife, and not the local Police Dept under his grandfather, Menace. Magnolia is going through a divorce and is letting off steam at the local bar and Levi gets roped into confronting her before she gets arrested. When Levi offers to take her home, she lets him know her status and that she has nowhere to go, he decides to take her home with him. This is the start of something that Levi has been wanting since he was 15 years old… a chance with Magnolia!

I loved this couple as they had chemistry and they had history. The best part is Levi’s bloodline. We loved Menace as a single dad, and we love him more as a grandfather! Plan on seeing more of him in Molly’s book which is coming out next.

Levi is the first book in the Laurel Springs Fish and Wildlife series, and it immediately pulled me in and wouldn’t let go. From start to finish, this story felt like a true reflection of what love, healing, and family are really about.

Levi Harrison and Magnolia Grace Handler are the main characters in this new series first installment. Their chemistry feels natural and grounded in their shared history. Watching them rebuild trust and form their relationship was deeply satisfying. Their story unfolded in a way that fit who they are and where they’ve been.

This book also addresses relationship abuse, and I appreciated how thoughtfully it was handled. The topic is never ignored, but it’s approached with care, honesty, and realism. The fear, emotional aftermath, and tendency to hide or feel ashamed are acknowledged in a way that feels true to life.

Levi is an emotionally rich read that sets a strong foundation for the series and leaves you eager to return to Laurel Springs again.

I am so glad I gave this book a chance because I was so excited to see that there would be more in this series and I get to spend time with these wonderful characters again. I loved Levi and Magnolia Grace and although the subject matter can be quite confronting I feel that the author was very delicate with her handling of a very triggering situation. Although Levi and Magnolia have been friends for a very long time, Levi has always had a crush on her and it isn’t until Magnolia is in trouble that Levi steps in to help and they develop a strong relationship. When Magnolia and Levi are both in danger from Magnolia’s possessive husband then all the actions really starts. This was a great story that had me on the edge of my seat and always cheering for Levi and Magnolia to get their HEA. I know I will definitely be reading more from Laramie Briscoe in the future.

Levi’s story brings us back to small-town Laurel Springs. He is all grown up and finally gets his shot at the girl he has had a crush on forever. But there are some big obstacles in his way. Not only is she older than him and his sister’s best friend, Magnolia is in the middle of a continuous divorce from a not so nice guy. She is also working hard to build her brand. Levi, like others in his family has chosen to work in law enforcement and is finally getting his chance at action as a Fish and Wildlife officer. Together they have tons of chemistry which is obvious to anyone that sees them together and forced proximity helps move the relationship along. A difficult situation finally puts things in perspective for the couple. Fans of the Laurel Springs series will enjoy this book but if you are new to the author, you can easily follow the story without reading the series.

I really enjoyed Levi and Magnolia’s story. The plot, romance and secondary characters were great. Levi and Magnolia were great main characters who had fire chemistry and a genuine connection. Levi was so patient with Magnolia and while he knew he needed to be gentle with her he still went after what he wanted and made sure she knew how much he wanted her. Levi was very passionate about his job and I really enjoyed reading about that aspect. Magnolia was such a strong woman who had been through a lot and was doing her best to just get by. I loved that she fought for her business that she’d put her all into and wasn’t willing to give anything up without a fight- she knew what she deserved even if she had moments of doubt. She believed in Levi pretty quickly and I enjoyed seeing her learn to trust and lean on him.

Levi and Magnolia😍

Levi is an officer with the Department of Fish and Wildlife and he’s asked to help out as there is a woman in the local bar about to start stripping. When he walks in, lo and behold, it’s Magnolia Grace, the one woman he can’t forget and also his sisters best friend.

Magnolia has been going through hell the last year, trying to finalise her divorce while the husband who asked for the divorce is now contesting and putting her through the wringer😢 When Levi steps in to stop her from embarrassing herself, he takes her to stay with him when she explains her situation.

I really enjoyed this story, the blurb caught my eye and I always love a good law enforcement story as well as a side of romance for the H and h🥰 Looking forward to Dakota’s story next🙌 I received an advanced copy via Booksprout and willingly leave my honest review❤️‍🩹

Levi is the grandson of Menace, now Chief of Police, son of Cruise who is also a police officer. Law enforcement third generation in and around Laurel Springs, only Levi works for the Wildlufe agency. Magnolia Grace is married to a nasty man named Cody. Trying to get a divorce and turning to drinking in a bar, dancing on a table puts her in the sight of Cody, as the bar owner calls him in due to him carry a badge and a gun. This couple have known each other for years; she is his sister's best friend.
It is an engaging story of fear, control and hurt is interspersed with loving, caring and safety. A relationship that is based on truth and trust, kindness and stability. Levi's family dynamics are Magnolia's beliefs for marriage, and he is determined to share it all. A story of secrets, danger and excitement, taking chances and understanding.

This is the first time I’ve read this author. Where have you been all my life!? This book was so good! Levi, Magnolia, Cody. Great characters, good and bad. This was so well written. It pulled me in right from the beginning. Levi was an awesome guy. Total teddy bear that wears a badge and a gun. Magnolia, sweet shop owner who’s trying to get out of a bad marriage. Levi steps in to help. She stays with him so she’s safe from the soon to be ex.
This book is acting packed. Suspense and mystery (undercover case Levi is working on), and the relationship that develops between Levi and Magnolia. That sweetie pie had a crush on that girl since he was 15 🥰 these two were so cute. She was learning to be the woman she was before a bad marriage.
I truly enjoyed everything about this book. The small town, the great characters, and an awesome story all the way around.

This is the first in a new generation’s series, and this is Levi and Magnolia’s story.
Levi is the youngest of a family of law enforcers, and his heart is with Fish and Wildlife, while Magnolia is going through a tough divorce. While Levi is on duty he is called to a bar where Magnolia is letting loose and dancing on table, so he takes her back to his place. Levi and his partner Dakota are working undercover, plus he is keeping his eye on Magnolia Grace.
This is a well written easy to read, action packed story, with family, friendships, emotions, reverse age gap, forced proximity, danger, suspense, intrigue, making choices, determination, second chances, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, small-town romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

We are back in Laurel Springs, with Levi, a member of Fish and Wildlife, and Magnolia, trying to navigate a very contentious divorce. Levi is there to rescue her from a risky situation and offers to have her stay with him. Initially, she didn't plan to, but when she goes back to her house, she has another dangerous encounter with her STB ex-husband, who is arrested by Levi's father. Levi offers to let her stay with him and she accepts. The situations she had to endure while trying to disengage from her marriage is more than any one person should have to suffer.

Magnolia has familial support from Levi's family because her parents feel no matter the problem, you need to stay in the marriage and work it out. Compounding the Magnolia and Levi's developing relationship, is the danger of Levi's assignment of uncover work.

Overall, a good read.

Levi Harrison is the son of Mason and Karina Harrison whom we met in the Moonshine Task Force series. Magnolia is the best friend of Levi's older sister. Levi has had a crush on Magnolia for a long while but of course never did anything to act upon it. He gets called to a bar (even though he is Fish and Wildlife , not police) for a woman dancing on a table to find that it is Magnolia. Magnolia is drunk and feeling sorry for herself as nothing in her life is going the way she wants it to. They slowly start to form a different kind of bond that grows into love for them both.

I enjoyed watching their relationship unflod but it did not come easy for them. There is romance and suspense as well as characters from the Moonshine Task Force series. I can't wait for more in this new series.

Thank you Laramie Briscoe for allowing me to ARC read Levi! This was such a wild ride!

This story follows Levi and Magnolia. Levi is Magnolia’s best friend’s little brother, whose had a crush on her since he was a teenager. With Magnolia’s marriage on the rocks, Levi is there to help her pick up the pieces and support her any way he can.

This honestly didn’t feel like a reverse age gap. Levi is such a man that it was easy to forget that he was younger than Magnolia, which I loved! He was really willing and ready to do anything she needed with no hesitation. And we love that!

This book was fast paced, which I loved! With equal amounts of plot, tension and even suspense. The suspense actually had me surprised, even though it should’ve been a little obvious on my part lol.

I love the small town vibes of Laurel Springs and now we have three generations of law enforcement officers and their families making the life there so rich with history. The brotherhood of these protective guys and their wives and children draws you in. Levi has the same alpha tendencies as his father but he is also sensitive to Magnolia’s trials and feelings. Her being a little older and growing up practically in the Harrison household a witty sweetness. Now Magnolia finds herself in a tough situation, can she accept help from Levi, after all she is still married to another man. Great friends to lovers, catching up to love story.

Magnolia is in an abusive relationship that she's trying hard to get out of. Levi has been in love with her for years. She's working hard to get her life together while her husband threatens her, disrupts her life and steals her money. Levi is called to help get her from an embarrassing situation and from that moment he starts protecting her. He's such a good man - humble, knows how much he doesn't know, acknowledges the wonderful family he has that has taught him respect and love. Magnolia hadn't had any of that. She's been accepted by his family through her friendship with Levi's sister, but never really felt entitled to have them as her family. Good family and work values. This series is going to be great.

I love this return to the next generation of Laurel Springs men.

Levi is strong, protective, and goes after what he wants but does so with the utmost respect. He has always wanted his older sister’s best friend, Magnolia Grace. She’s crushed by a bully of a husband who has stripped her of all she is. When Levi rescues her in a bar, he has no choice but to take her home.

He works hard to restore her confidence and to protect her from the bully she is divorcing. Magnolia Grace must learn to trust Levi and herself. It’s not easy to build faith and trust while her crazy ex is trying to reclaim her! Can they build a trust and a love that saves them both?

I was not able to put it down. If you enjoyed the first generation of Laurel Springs men I can assure you that you will love the next generation! Levi and Magnolia were perfect for each other. Their journey from start to finish was not an easy one. I cannot say enough about this book. It is a MUST READ, a you DO NOT WANT TO MISS kind of book. Levi has been head over heels for Magnolia since he was in high school and now he gets to be the one who gives her a soft place to land while working thru her disastrous divorce. Their chemistry is 🔥🔥 and there’s plenty of steam but also so many sweet and heartfelt moments. The interactions with his family are so warm and lovely and Molly, Magnolia’s best friend and Levi’s sister, is even happy to find out they are together. However the relationship isn’t without complications because of her divorce and also Levi’s undercover work he has to do. Will their relationship make it through? Such a fabulous read and I can’t wait for Molly's story!

I had a high level of excitement for a return to Laurel Springs, and the premise of a whole new series. 🙌

This book delivers in the typical LB style, with heartbreak, drama and real characters with real problems and real feelings.

Levi and Magnolia have more barriers against them in her head than actually exist. Levi is so all in (he totally falls first) and it’s nice to see the angst on the MMC side about whether the other person loves them or not.

I loved how the drama unfolded and the story brought in beloved characters from the wider series.

A fab read that will make you want to start again where it all began with the moonshine task force.

My favorite characters are the ones that step up when someone needs that little bit of support, that shoulder, or just a soft place to land while they push themselves forward. Levi fits into those boxes perfectly. He's a protector, in a long line of protectors, he's also sweet with an amazing heart. Magnolia Grace is getting out of a bad situation, working and building something for herself. I loved that they have a long friendship to pull from. The sparks fly, and their journey keeps the pages turning. I enjoyed every moment with them and I'm looking forward to what's to come from this new series.

Here we go again - don't you just love when you pick up a book by an author and you know its going to be good? Well Laramie Briscoe is my go to when it comes to blue-collar romance. And Levi and Magnolia brought me so much joy while reading.

Magnolia is trying to put her life back on track. After the disaster of her marriage, she needs a break. And Levi is the man for the job. He's been in love with her since he was 15 years old and now thats she's finally free, he's taking his shot. I loved seeing "old" beloved couples in this and the support for her was just the sweetest.

The series has off to a good start and i can not wait to see how it continues.

Wow! Levi is perfect for Magnolia. None of my friends had brothers like him. He saw her in ways that others had not, including the pathetic excuse for a man that she married.

Poor Magnolia thought she married for love. My heart broke for all she endured. But Levi cannot help but protect her.

This is a well written story that draws the reader in with detailed world building and characters that give all the feels. I had not read the prior Laurel Springs series but that did not detract from this book.

I am looking forward to Dakota getting his HEA too.

I enjoyed this latest book by Laramie, the first of a new series. The book was easy to read and kept me hooked so I finished it fairly quickly.
I thought Levi and Magnolia made a cute couple (though after a while, his habit of calling her Magnolia Grace all the time grated slightly) and it was nice to see them getting their HEA, especially after Magnolia having to put up with so much from Cody (the soon to be ex husband) and Levi carrying a torch for her for so long.
I was gifted the book for free by Laramie, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
