Rate this book
Originally published in 1957, this work united with Dr, Albert Schweitzer's appeal to the world to end nuclear tests. This book gives detailed scientific advice as to the WHY and WHAT of radioactivity, and whether it can or cannot be safely used as the next world fuel. Walter Russell was an incredible illuminate who achieved amazing things through many disciplines in his lifetime. His understanding of radioactivity is alarmingly accurate, and reveals some seriously ignorant patterns that we must break in order to make the world a safe place for generations to come. He clearly explains how radioactive materials (death) that exist deep UNDER the earth's crust are beneficial, as they break down rocks releasing water and humus and creating life ABOVE. This is the cycle from which death, under life, creates life. Through simple principles of electricity, octaves, and cycles, he proves that by bringing these elements ABOVE the organic life on the earth's core, when death is brought above life, it destroys it. Radioactive byproducts are destructive to our atmosphere, our oceans, our soil, water, and reproductive organs for a very, very, very long time. We need to stop bringing these elements out of their place deep in the earth! We should avoid nuclear power at all costs, and figure out a way to come together and stop the development of such technology as soon as possible. With less money and more security for our future, we could reverse the equation and produce clean, sustainable technology. The importance of his work cannot be underestimated.

New agey science? Science-y new age? This book is a weird blend of pulpit sermon and physics class lecture. Nothing more. Nothing less.

It starts out tolerable enough, but the book gets tiresome after a while.

This book stands out as one of the most ridiculous pieces of pseudoscience ever concocted. The author is King Crackpot from start to finish. The diagrams are hilarious. I can only imagine that he was on LSD the whole time he wrote this from inside a rubber room at a psychiatric hospital, holding the pen in his mouth while bound in a straight jacket. If you want to see the full extent of scientific ignorance the human mind is capable of, here's your chance. And THAT is the reason I give this book a 3 star rating. It is hilarious to anyone with an education. If you are completely ignorant of science, then please don't mistake ANYTHING in this tome of dumb for reality.
