When the heart has found its person and purpose, there’s no stopping the length it would go. You never realize what you had until it’s gone. Jealous and envy will cause a downfall. Let’s chat!
Maniac has no understanding when it comes to Wren🫣. It’s doesn’t matter who you are, mess with her you going to deal with him now periodt! One thing he’s going to do is address anyone or anything that’s a danger to her or anyone that hurt her🫣. When she received bad news, the way this man step up for is the way any woman would want their man to step. When she struggled, he stepped up. When she was rendered speechless, he stepped up🥰. He protected her by all means and no one was exempt! Her dad Big John found out the hard way and so did Cassius😳! This man was beyond unhinged when it came to Wren. No one could speak and for better not look at her to long🫣! Actually he was just unhinged in general. the way he handle Roc left me beyond speechless and let not talk about Juelz🫣! That was so disrespectful 🫣. My guy did his best to make sure she could live that soft girl life. They better leave this man alone cause it’s obvious they not ready🤭.
Wren wasn’t looking for love but got it anyways 🤭! Though she wasn’t about that life, she knew the life well and it became her nightmare. The tragedy she experienced shattered her world like no other😔. However, one thing my girl was grateful for was Maniac and her best friend Aria. Now I didn’t mention her in book 1 review but my girl is that ride or die friend🥰. Anyone that had smoke with Wren had it with her. She handle the light weight and Maniac handle the heavier load🤭! Though her life has changed from being quiet to slightly loud, she wouldn’t change it for the world. Though she was dealing with the tragedy in her life, when she had to deal with the ghost of her past, I was rendered speechless. She handled it the right way and I respect her for it. Oh but he took that extra step🥹. I loved that for her. There’s one thing I can say and that’s my girl can never catch a break😒!
Aria is that friend that all woman should have untie life🤭. She was that chick that if you didn’t handle she would. My girl went for blows when it came to Wren. One thing for sure, Aria had no issue expressing her dislike for Maniac🫣. They were water & oil when they around each other. I noticed that Aria was that friend that had an issue with sharing her friend😔. She just wanted the best for her and she didn’t agree with the relationship, she put her big girl draws on and accepted it for Wren. Basically she was overprotective when it came to her🥹.
Big John, Wren father got me looking at him sideways. Like are you still the ops is my question🤔! Like I slightly understand but don’t if that makes sense. He violated the street code in all aspects but at the same time I get it - protect family😔! Oh but for him to think he was to change the blueprint was diabolical. He couldn’t do nothing but tuck his tail and accept what it was and that’s exactly what he did🤭. However, I don’t think he’s going to be too far if he’s ever needed.
Now the way this book ended had me nervous and upset at the same time. Like it just can’t be. Taniece is cutting up with this series. Everyone in it is unhinged in their own way🤭. Though I haven’t mention them much but I need to know really going on with the brother Murda, Grim and even Wicked. Now they all are mentioned throughout the read but not in depth and I need more🫣. One things for sure, who is this woman entertaining Wicked. I think it’s Aria for some reason 🫣. Only time will tell. Headed to the finale to see what the ending results will be.

Great Read
Tyree thought ducking and dodging Roc was going to keep him off the radar. Uncle Trayvon told him he was screwing up dealing with Roc. Especially since Tyree had a coke habit. It was too late when Tyree realized that his uncle was right. Getting a call to identify her brother body had Wren feeling guilty but she had to realize that Tyree death wasn't on her or their uncle. Tyree was so far gone that he got in bed with the enemy and paid for it. I knew something wasn't right about Big John's death. I'm actually disgusted because he pulled a weird ass cowardly move. Now he's back and Wren as well as uncle Trayvon is speechless. Wren being mad at Maniac for knowing is crazy to me because he had just found out about her dad during the time of Tyree murder. I believe Maniac and his family have another enemy and it might be Cassius. I actually believed Roc and his brother when he said that they wasn't the ones who shot at Maniac family. Wicked is in prison calling shot's and I'm wondering if the female he been associated with is Wren best friend Aria or Maniac ex slide Nylah hoe ass. Hopefully while Wicked is trying to tell Maniac how much of a problem Wren is. He isn't being set-up. I feel like Wicked is on some bullshit when it comes to Maniac and Wren relationship because all of a sudden. Wicked right hand man Heavy let Maniac know that him and Wren used to mess around. The way Heavy said it. I knew then some mess was going to get started because once Wren explained they only went on a couple dates and nothing happened because they didn't have anything in common. I was wondering what Wicked ass was up to. Cassius better go sit his dumb ass down somewhere. It's crazy how he said Wren broke his heart when he was the one who cheated on her with multiple women. Now he's plotting on her and Maniac. I like Wren best friend Aria. Aria play no game's. I also understand her concern and dislike for Maniac. He's disrespectful, possessive, and crazy asf but the fool love Wren dirty drawls. I hope that wasn't him in the end in that car that was shot up because they literally just had gotten married not even a few hours before Wren was called to come and identify his body

Similar to book 1, I think the author has an amazing idea for the plot but the execution is lacking. Where the author writes these unnecessary details like the MCs entire getting ready routine, that word count would’ve been better spent giving us more character development.
There are certain scenes (similarly in book one) where something important seems to happen but it’s never touched on again. For example when Wrens hairs on her neck stand when she’s walking outside and feels like someone is watching her, OR when someone yelled “Aye” at her in the parking lot in book 1.
I don’t mind cliff hangers but I’m not really looking forward to book 3.

We are back with Wren and Maniac, and babyyyy, the chaos is still present. A whole walking headache pops up, disturbing Wren’s peace, and Maniac is absolutely not going for that, which I loved. His brand of devotion is wild and entertaining every time.
This one didn’t hit like book one for me, though. I laughed in spots, but it had big “bridge book” energy, like it was mainly there to move us toward part three. Still entertaining, still had moments, just didn’t grab me the same way.
Either way, I’m locked in. I need to see how Wren and Maniac finish this ride.

The saga continues, this book is definitely like a novella. It has many twist and turns. One thing that remains the same is the fact that Maniac is still hilarious. He has it completely bad when it comes to Wren. I do honestly think he might have put a little spell on her. It’s something about her father that I can’t stand. Maybe it’s the fact that he played dead for damn near all her life. He is a deadbeat in my eyes. It was a lot of grammical errors in this book compared to book one. I’m hoping book 3 is better with that. Overall it’s a good read.

That cliff hanger is wild. Why would y’all do that to me? This installment was really really good maniac is a lunatic but I can see why Wren crazy about him, that man loves her down. He really don’t care what he do lmfao consequence be damned. I do think the situation with big John was kind of glossed over because there’s no way I’m forgiving somebody who just walked out my life like that without longer Conversations being had. definitely gonna go ahead and read book three so I can wrap this trilogy up.

I’m so looking forward to the next book. I want to see if his brother is conversing with Aria. I know Maniac is not dead, and I hope it’s not her father neither. Don’t make me wait too long for the next book!!

Taniece you have managed to create a character that was just ridiculously chaotic and lovable at the same time. Every time he returned to sender, I cheered. Isn’t that terrible? At any rate, I loved the pacing of the series that’s far. I’m enjoying this couple as well as the chaos being created in their world while at the same time they are finding moments of calm. I am very much looking forward to part three

Need Part 3 ASAP
Man oh man book 2 was just as good as book 1. Maniac continued with his shenanigans, just when you think he can’t do anything else he comes up with something else crazy. Wren is matching her mans crazy for sure. There are so many enemies, and a lot of plot twist. I can’t wait for book 3!

This is a good storyline which is why I’m on part 2. But there are so many typos and it’s hard to smoothly read a book like that. Sometimes it’s suppose to say be he but might say she. It was just a lot. I have read many books from this author and surprised me. If you can get through some typos I would say read it!

Poor Wren, she can't catch a break. I know Maniac better not be gone, and why do I feel like either Cassius and Wicked had something to do with Maniac being hurt or in trouble.

Book 2 out of 3 & it was just as good as the first book. Maniac is still a lunatic but we’re able to see him be a tad softer with Wren which is cute. It’s gives very much he’s rude to everyone but her vibes & I love that. The cliffhanger at the end is little wild & I want to see how it all ties together.

But can we please take the time out to go over the grammatical errors the way my dyslexia is set up I’ve read the same paragraph 5 times thinking my brain is fried whole time there’s more grammatical mistakes then I’m used to. So book 1 let us all wondering because Wren said her dad died when she was young and her uncle took her and her brother in but now her dad just popped back up telling Maniac he ain’t marrying his daughter. And Wren found out her dad was still alive at her brother funeral. And now he is determined to mess with Maniac and his business.

The cliffhanger 😳. Maniac never ceases to amaze me. However I still needed more context and follow up. Especially the situation with Big John. I had a feeling they were hiding something about Big John but definitely not what I was expecting. Overall good read. Hopefully we’ll be getting a Book 3 👀

Maniac😩
It was a good read. A third book is pushing it but I’m gone wait and read it. Maniac can be a bit much and it most def takes a special kind of lady to deal with him. Some parts were not realistic but I guess it fits his nickname. Awaiting part 3!!
