One girl. Two worlds. A life-altering clash of dreams and reality.
Nix is just a normal teenager, but her dreams are exceptional. Every night, she dreams of a fantasy world where she and her crew fight otherworldly monsters, confront mysterious threats, and face impossible quests. In the real world, Nix is caught up in things that seem forging her identity, building a romance, and maintaining old friendships. But as Nix’s convictions are tested by an intense new relationship, the real world begins to feel more and more impossible. Desperate, Nix searches for direction, for confidence, for faith, for strength. And she finds it all in the most unlikely of places —her sleep.
DREAMSCAPE is a stand-alone novel that explores the effects of a toxic dating relationship and one girl's fight to pull herself free.
After living throughout the western U.S., Tenille now claims rural Northern Nevada as her home. If she’s not reading or writing, she’s enjoying a beautifully ordinary life with her amazing husband and four outstanding children. She loves the Lord and is grateful for the many opportunities she’s discovered through serving Him. Her writing goals are to entertain, uplift, and strengthen.
“Dreamscape” is one of the most unique books I’ve read in a while. It almost feels like two stories combined into one, part bully romance, part fantasy adventure; and somehow, Tenille Berezay manages to make that blend work. The way she shifts between genres feels bold and unexpected, creating a reading experience that’s both intriguing and fresh.I’ll admit, at first I wasn’t sure if this book was for me and even considered setting it aside. But by the third chapter, I found myself completely hooked on both storylines. The romance has a familiar arc, it’s pretty clear where that’s heading, but the fantasy elements are what really shine. They’re imaginative, exciting, and far less predictable than I expected. What struck me most was the connection between the two main threads. While I might be reading too much into it, it seemed as though Claire created Xandra as a kind of extension of herself, a character she could channel her strength through. That added a layer of emotional depth that I didn’t anticipate.Overall, Dreamscape is a highly creative and enjoyable read. It took me a little time to get invested, but once I did, I was impressed by how seamlessly Berezay balanced two distinct worlds. A solid 4 stars for originality and execution.
I enjoy reading this book Dreamscape is a mixed if the character fantasy dreams and her own life . Claire is in between two worlds two battles and a toxic relationship. The dual world keeps the pacing engaging, and the emotional core makes this more than just another fantasy. It’s a story about courage and growth that stays with you.
This book was given to me as an ARC here is my honest and voluntarily review.
✨3.5/5✨ ✨I love how this is two stories fit into one. Dream World and real world collide in this amazing adventure. Nix, a girl with her first boyfriend in the real world, and Nix, a warrior and defender in the dream world.✨ ✨The Nix in the Real World is trying so hard not to lose herself and her faith, while the Nix in Dream World is trying to save her home and her friends from a devastating fate. One and the same? Perhaps.✨
this was a well written book with an interesting story line. it's like reading 2 stories in one. one were the main character is in a toxic relationship in the real world and because of that she needs an escape into the dream world
