This is the second book in an epic romantasy series. For Rienna’s full story, start with Unmarked & Unbonded.
I received an advance copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Bonded and Unleashed offers an engaging romantasy story with strong emotional dynamics and an intriguing bond between the main characters. The connection between the leads is compelling, and the story builds tension well as their relationship develops. Fans of character-driven fantasy romance will likely enjoy the emotional stakes and the slow unraveling of the characters’ motivations.
The pacing keeps the story moving, and the bond trope adds an extra layer of tension and curiosity throughout the narrative. I especially appreciated how the relationship dynamics carried much of the story’s momentum.
That said, while the book was enjoyable, it didn’t quite leave the same lasting impression as some of the standout titles in the genre. Readers who love large-scale worldbuilding or particularly memorable plot twists may find it a bit lighter in that regard.
Overall, Bonded and Unleashed is an entertaining romantasy read with engaging characters and a satisfying emotional core, even if it may not be one of the most unforgettable entries in the genre.
