Jack Lucas is a successful attorney with a private practice in the heart of Dallas, Texas. That is, until his whole world came crashing down...quite literally. When Dr. Milton "Milt" Blakely, a scientist and Jack's best friend, begins proposing his doomsday theory, he is met with Jack's "yeah, right" attitude. The government, however, doesn't share Jack's sentiments. When a top-secret e-mail is inadvertently sent to Milt's inbox, it sets off an irreversible chain of events. Jack and a small group of friends and acquaintances must do what is necessary to survive the worst catastrophe the world has ever known.
