Eren, you idiot! It is not your fault!
I really have my doubts about the whole truth of Eren's father "sin". I think there is more to it.
There is no steady pace with this manga, every time I finish reading a volume I have the same WTF IS GOING ON!! reaction.
It's nice to be getting some answers, but I need more!

And deeper into the abyss we go. I'm really intrigued by all that I don't know. I feel like this is building up to a really big reveal of some sort. We've already found out a whole lot but it all feels like small stuff compared to what we will eventually find out. Welp, only one way to find out so I'm on to the next one, Volume 17 :)

This volume is so good!! We're finally getting some answers and the story is starting to make a lot more sense. I'm still waiting for the story to get back around to Annie's storyline though... It's been quite some time since that cliffhanger with her.
My heart hurts for Historia. I get where she's coming from with her viewpoint because the world feels like it's constantly against her, but I hope she can see a better future for herself by the end of the series. 💔

Hooooooly shit, that was good! Finally some answers, and I'm definitely not disappointed in the direction this series is heading.
I only can't believe that after I read next 4 chapters, I'll have to wait for the rest to come out.

EN The pace in this volume slows down compared to the previous two, which is normal — it would be very hard to maintain the intensity we had up until now.
A rescue plan is put into motion to save Eren, who remains imprisoned by Rod Reiss, supposedly the rightful king.
While Rod tries to convince his daughter to turn into a Titan and eat Eren, several secrets about this world finally begin to surface.

یکی از ویژگی های اتک ان تایتان اینه که بر خلاف بقیه داستان ها که همه جواب همه سوال ها رو میزارن قسمت های اخر و یکی مونده به اخر ، به سوال ها و معما هایی که مطرح میشه توی طول داستان پاسخ میده و اروم اروم سوال جدید رو میکنه
این جلد یکی از جلدای کلیدی و مهم بود که چند تا چیز خیلی مهم رو شد
معرکه معرکه!
حتما بخونیدش و حتما تا اخر هم بخونیدش!
احتمالش زیاده که سیزن دو انیمه با چپتر اخر این جلد تموم بشه
اگه این اتفاق بیافته واقعا منفجر میشم!!

Very interesting conclusion.
The one thing I love most about this series is the unavoidable insecurity of people's decisions. One choice or another always ends up throwing a huge amount of chaos into everyone's lives, and the tension is quite excellent.
Too funny what happened to Rod. :)

The whole, humanity’s memories have been wiped and the sacred bloodline plots are getting kind of old. Also, when the hell are we going to see what’s in Erens basement? Where is the beast titan, Ymir, Bertolt, and Reiner the whole time this revolt/overthrowing of the government has been going on the past like 4 volumes? Also Annie all crystallized?
Also, this is like the 100th time Eren has been kidnapped and locked up. Whole lotta unanswered questions and new plot lines, but even still I’m enjoying it. All of this just makes me want to read more to see what the hell is gonna happen 😂

Story
Wow. Finally some things are revealed. I picked up the manga largely because I couldn't stand not knowing the answers to a bunch of questions. Here we are now 16 volumes later, and finally some (and I do stress some) answers are given.
I really can't wait to read the next volume. In fact it's taken a lot of willpower not to jump into the next 3 chapters while waiting for the 4th to be released so I can do them all together and review what will become volume 17.

Same old, Same old. I think the stills are fine, but the action shots are hard to follow.

The series is catching its stride and the conflict is real and world changing
People won’t stop fighting each other until the human population is down to one or less
Besides the Shinji (from Neon Genesis Evangelion) vibes Eren is given me throughout the series, I was also strongly reminded of the episode that ended Code Geass season 1, including the rejection of (expectations of) parents and the drive to change the nature of humanity.
In all the high stake gambles, at least Levi injects some realness: Really, just how shitty can this day get?

To describe this volume : dramatic! And I love drama in stories.
I liked how Eren broke down and lost his will to fight. After learning so much terrible truth about his father and himself, it is only natural for him to blame himself and want to die. I am not lying, I enjoyed his father-drama. Muhahaha!
However the secrets that have been revealed didn't slow down my hunger for more answers. Still there are some parts that don't make sense. Hope to find clever explanations in the next volumes.

This is one of my favourite animes and series of all time. It's also one of the highly acclaimed anime series ever so if you don't even know about Attack on Titan at this point... you are missing out. I'm updated with the manga since it's still ongoing but it is going to be ending very soon. I do think you should watch the series first before reading the manga :)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! Especially if you are into fantasy with high paced action sequences, surprising twists, and mystery.
plot→ It's basically set in this world wherein the last of the human race are forced to live behind this circular walled city called Paradis because titans who devour humans suddenly started appearing on Earth. The story begins when, after 300 years I think... or is it 30??, a titan suddenly breaks into the walled city. The story revolves around Eren (and friends) who has always dreamed of being part of the Survey Corps as they were previously regarded as the heroes of the city. However, they have since been looked down on by the residents because their expeditions outside the walls in the past years have always resulted in mass slaughter.
There are 3 branches in the city's military body: the Survey Corps, the Garrison, and the Military Police Brigade. Survey Corps go outside the wall to scout areas for expansion and most of the skilled ODM (this is the gear that they use to kill the titans) users are in this branch since they fight the titans most frequently. Garrison patrol the walls of the city and are in charge of protecting the walls from titan invasions. Military Police Brigade stay in the innermost city to protect the royal family and whoever else is rich and powerful enough to live there. There is also a side branch that takes care of the new recruits and trains them before they are placed in the actual military body.
I didn't know this had a military thing going on and to be honest it's one of favourite sub themes in fantasy so that was a pleasant for me.
One of the interesting sociopolitical points in this series is that the city itself is subdivided into 3 walls: Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina. The poorest in the city are forced to live on the outermost wall since they are the ones that titans would most likely get to first in case the city is breached. The richest are in Wall Sina like the royal family. This raised a lot of points to think about especially when the wall gets breached and they need to move towards the inner parts of the city.
I'm not going to go too much else in depth because it is partly a mystery series but one of the main things that made this series standout to me is the looming idea that they don't really know who the enemy is. Honestly, this series raises a lot of political issues and discussions that I like to talk about with other people who have also read/watched it. Another aspect that I like here, is what is really considered good or bad, if there even is such a thing in a person's motives. You'll see this more on the later sides of the series because the first part is more on action scenes and build up since it's meant to pull you into the world. But the later arcs just add up to it and make it seriously one of the most phenomenal stories I have come across.
If you haven't realized: I love this series TO DEATHHH.
I consider this a must watch and must read for basically everyone who just wants a good story with characters that you won't get tired of. The manga art does get better throughout the series. I also just want you guys to meet my man Levi basically hehe <3 I'm kidding but seriously... this series has one of the best plots and storytellings especially it's lore side. I was gasping at every plot twist and this is coming from a person who usually ends up guessing what happens in the plot.

4 stars obviously this volume imo was better than the one before, and I starting to like Historia more by the way, i think the was the MVP of this volume, i really felt sorry for Eren, finally! since volumes ago i haven't felt anything at all for him, not concern not pity notthing, but now... and the cliffhanger omg, things don't really get easy on them, and all characters are so badass and brave it's hard to me find one that stands out, but they are alll awesome either way, i like that i finally got some answers

We learn the secret of the reiss family and Historia's father intentions and what his plan for Eren is, and the becoming of the titans and the will of the first king and what choice Historia makes and whether she will go ahead with this and assist her father? What is gonna happen to eren? This volume was good and revealed so much and its an information dump but it changes the way we look at the titans and interesting family history and the choice that Historia makes is interesting but their next threat is even more dangerous.
