A lovely story where the couple is already in a relationship at the start of the read except they haven’t shared their story with anyone. The book is filled either lots snd lots of heat and an issue that brings their relationship out in the open. The characters are great!.

Tory gives another sizzling romance read in this second of the series featuring Locke and Jade. If you like an alpha man who is totally devoted and obsessed with his woman, this is perfection. A bit of sibling and friend angst, a secret hidden, a wake up call, spicy chemistry, heartfelt love and a beautiful HEA.

This was a good brother’s best friend romance. The story started steamy and it held up the steam level for most of the story but it still had an interesting storyline and I enjoyed reading it. Jade and Locke had great chemistry and I liked his possessive nature.

This book started with steam and ended with steam in the best ways! We jumped right into Locke and Jade's secret relationship and I adored them together. Locke was the perfect obsessed book boyfriend who wouldn't let anything tear them apart. Jade loved him just as fiercely, but was scared to get between her brother and Locke's friendship. Their intimate life too was so well written and you could really feel both the love and devotion through all of it. I liked seeing their relationship progress, but do wish we got to know the story of how they actually got together. There were a few parts that were very confusing that took me out of the story as well, like when Kara was called Colt's brother, and not the other way around, and then she was a she the next page. I also wish we got a scene with Locke and Jace talking it out as well. I feel like the whole book led up to that but then there wasn't really one. I did like how he came around eventually though, and how the whole family interacts. Very low drama between the main characters, zero breakups or even chances of one, but some drama from secondary characters that they worked through as a couple. No cheating or OM/OW drama, dual POV's, HEA and an epilogue a year in the future. I wasn't sure how I felt about Jace through this one, but he redeemed himself in the end. Can't wait to read his book and find out how he tackles the challenge of loving his new boss's daughter!

I’ve come to the conclusion that Tory just knows how to write the perfect book boyfriend…
Locke is everything!! He’s got the looks…the hardware (😉) and the personality.
Jade is sassy, independent and determined to live her life the way she wants to. She doesn’t take handouts and hates asking for help. So when her car breaks down and she is without a vehicle, Locke automatically tells her to take his truck. Then they argue about her paying him to use it and paying for the insurance. He wins and she just pays for gas.
In this story there are lots of cute moments like the truck argument but there’s also some drama and heartache.
Jade and Locke both fall fast and hard but what happens when Jace (Jade’s brother and Locke’s best friend) find out they are together? Will he be able to forgive them? Will he make Jade choose between him and Locke?
When there’s an accident and Locke is hurt, will Jade be there to help him? Will she be able to stay strong when he needs her the most?
We all know with Tory, there’s a happy ending but boy…do these two take a wild ride to get there.

Locke and Jade's story is so hot my kindle nearly overheated!

I love an age gap, brothers best friend story and Tory didn't miss a beat with this one.
Locke and Jade have known each other for years, and while Jade knew her brothers best friend was hot, nothing ever happened. Until years later, the line is finally crossed and neither her or Locke are sorry (can't say I blame them).
The only issue - Jade's brother and Locke's best friend Jace, he isn't aware of their relationship, and let's just say it's not a happy response when he initially finds out.

I love a brothers best friend romance, throw in a 10 year age gap and a secret relationship and I’m likely to go feral. Tory did not miss a beat with these two. They were hot and heavy from the very get go and didn’t take their foot off the gas the entire story.

Locke is best friend with Jade’s brother Jace so they have been in each other’s lives forever. While Jade has always had a thing for Locke, he never crossed that line until recently. And once he did there was no turning back.

More than their chemistry though, they were genuinely made for each other and everyone could see it. Even her stubborn older brother Jace, once he took some time to cool off of course.

If you love secret romances, brothers best friend, age gap, a pierced hero, plenty of dirty talking and steamy scenes but also a deep connection and love between the characters then Locke & Jade are for you. I loved that we also got to see cameos from some of my favorites from her past books.

I can’t wait to see who tames Jace!!!

This super hot and sexy book includes a bit of angst and family drama. Jade and Locke are keeping their relationship a secret because of her over protective brother who also happens to be Locke’s best friend. With the ten year age gap between Jade and Locke, as well as his player ways until the last few years, her brother won’t be happy with their relationship. Her mother learns their secret and urges Jade to tell her brother before he learns it some other way. Fate takes the timing out of Jade and Locke’s control and nearly parts the lovers for good.

I have to say that Locke is a fabulous book boyfriend. He is protective, possessive and loves to take care of Jade in every way possible. He doesn’t try to control her or stifle her independent and stubborn streak, but her comfort, happiness and safety are his priorities. Locke hates keeping their relationship a secret, but he follows Jade’s lead. Their chemistry is off the charts, supernova hot. There is plenty of flirty banter and steamy encounters between the two soulmates. The family drama only adds to their delightfully addictive story.

**Secret Romance!**

*Say My Name* is the second book in the *Whispering Oaks: Steel & Seduction* series. I loved Jade and Locke together; they were truly perfect for each other. The only issue is Jace, Jade’s older brother, who is also Locke’s best friend, which makes Jade supposedly off-limits. For years, neither of them has crossed that line—until now. There is no stopping their undeniable heat and chemistry as they secretly navigate their relationship. They are both completely swoon-worthy over each other while also trying to figure out how to let Jace know before he finds out from someone else.

Baker had me hooked from the very start with the exciting dynamic of the brother's best friend, complete with fun and easy banter. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Locke and Jade. I am so looking forward to Jace’s book, knowing it is next!

This is book two in the author’s Whispering Oaks: Steel Seduction series and features Locke and Jade in this brother’s best friend, blue collar romance.

This one starts out a little different than most romances I’ve read, the MCs are already together in an established relationship with each other when it begins so it starts off hot and heavy and never lets up. We didn’t have to wait for them to decide whether or not they wanted each other or anything, just BAM! And Locke…that man is sex on a stick! His sweet, dirty, talkin’ definitely upped the heat factor on this already spicy read and I was more than half in love with him myself when I finished the book… I don’t mind saying, he’s my newest book boyfriend!

This isn’t a book you want to miss if you love a good, sweet, hardworking man with a filthy mouth and if you happen to also like a brother’s best friend… well you’ve just hit the jackpot!! 4.5 stars

Say My Name is ridiculously over the top hot in the best way possible. I mean, this is a sizzling, fiery, off the charts smoke show of awesomeness. Locke is the ultimate book boyfriend, and Jade is too adorable for words while also self-respecting, strong, independent, and caring. These two are so perfect for each other, and each turn of the page just solidifies it even more. Author Tory Baker is a rockstar author who creates the most delicious and drama-free couples that are so devoted to each other in every way. I devoured Locke and Jade, loving their connection as these down to earth individuals navigate life, family, friends, and love. This is a great read if you like lots of spice and caring, no third act breakup, and plenty of found family too.

Tory Baker knows how to bring the heat! Locke is crazy about Jade. Jade is crazy about Locke. These two are in a secret relationship. Why? Jade is the little sister to Jace. Jace is Jade’s big brother and also Locke’s best friend. So for right now, Jade and Locke are a secret to everyone. These two belong together like peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese - it’s not good to break them up. It’s sexy, hot, spicy, passionate and you can feel the love they have for each other. I loved the characters. They are definitely good together. Locke knows Jade is the one and only. Jade has been in love with Locke for what seems like forever. She knows he is the one! Great characters! Great story! Next up Jace - can’t wait.

Jade is bartender who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. I think it’s hard for her to accept help because she wants to be independent

Locke is such a good MMC! Very protective and possessive He likes to take care of her without wanting anything in return.

“You mean everything to me, and what you bring to the table isn’t measured in monetary shit.”

I was really glad they were able to overcome the issues Jace had with their relationship. Jade and Locke are definitely meant to be. You could really feel the chemistry between the two of them. Jade and Locke’s spice pages had my jaw dropped! Well written and very hot!

I’m very excited for Jace’s book Between The Sheets! I’m looking forward to reading it in April!

Locke has been in love with Jade, his best friend’s sister, for a while and he was no longer able to deny his feelings. Knowing how her brother would react they have been keeping their relationship secret while they try to find the perfect time to tell him until that choice is no longer theirs.

Jade loves Locke but she also loves her protective brother as well. She knows that her brother will not be happy they are together, but she isn’t about to let come between her and the man she loves.

There was never any doubt that Locke and Jade are perfect for each other in every way and the heat between Locke and Jade radiates off the pages.

Say My Name is book 2 in the Whispering Oaks: Steel and Seduction Series written by Tory Baker, and let me tell you, this is one you will most definitely want to read. I was hooked from the very start of the book.

Ms. Baker has a way of really immersing you in the story with the way she writes. You feel as if you're there in the story, taking the journey alongside the characters. She truly has such an incredible gift. This story was beyond phenomenal. The characters, plot, storyline, world-building, was all done to perfection. I honestly could not put it down. I would absolutely recommend this... along with anything else by Tory Baker.

Book 2 of the Whispering Oaks: Steel & Seduction series. Can be read as a standalone.

The characters were very complex and complicated and possessive and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. All in all a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

This is a very basic brother’s-best-friend story, and I’m sad to say that the plot is old and unoriginal. Tropes exist for a reason and they are a great framework for a story. But when a book has nothing new to say about a trope, or no new angle or approach, then it’s boring.
However, the chemistry between Locke and Jade is really compelling and the sexytime is, as a result, top tier. It’s the sexytime that redeems the story into something readable. If this book was erotica and didn’t try to have a plot, I’d have given it five stars.

I always love when the author at their playlist to the beginning of a book because I feel like it gives me a glimpse into their mindset when they were riding the book. Also I love when an alpha man kisses the woman's head I find that so romantic. Locke is best friends with Jade's older brother. They've been keeping their relationship a secret because they know her brother is not going to be happy. But when a accident happened he finds out before they can tell him. Eventually he's able to see that his best friend and sister truly love each other and move aside and let them have their happily ever after.

In this book we meet Jade McKay & Locke. Jade knows the one man she wants is the one man she never should want is the only one she wants. When she gets a chance to spend time with him she takes full advantage of it. Locke knows his best friend will kill him if he could ever read his thoughts. When he gets the chance to be Jades knight in shining armor he is going to take full advantage of this. Can these two find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?

Another hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

For Locke and Jade keeping their relationship secret has been hard. Jades brother, Locke’s best friend, they don’t know how much longer they can keep Jude in the dark, but as their feelings grow, wanting so much more then slips of time together, their secret won’t be secret much longer. The chemistry between these two was on fire, they fitted so well together and trusted each other and supported one another completely. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship grow and seeing them together made me smile. I knew some trouble was on the horizon but something else I did not see happened too which added another layer to their story. I enjoyed catching up with past characters from the Whispering Oaks world, and I enjoyed seeing all the love that was on display in this story.

I really enjoyed Say My Name by Tory Baker. I am most definitely a fan of forbidden brother's best friend romance so I was excited for Jade and Locke's story. Jade has crushed on Locke for a long time and now Locke has finally noticed her. Tory Baker is a favorite author of mine, she know how to grab onto her readers from the 1st page to the last. Brother's best friend romance is one of my favorite genres, and this is a great one, from the great writing and well developed characters, to the steamy storyline and happily ever after. What a wonderful story! A very powerful love right from the start with Locke and Jade! These two are absolutely gone for each other and you can definitely feel it! A fast paced, sweet, very enjoyable story with a tad bit of angst. Loved these characters and great to be back in Whispering Oaks! A great romance that I definitely recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

WOW!! I’m so in love with this couple. Locke is amazing, every time he says Sugar I melted. Jade is just as awesome and these two together holy hotness. Talk about steamy and sexy , this book is filled with it. There chemistry is explosive!
They fall pretty hard and fast for one another, and it’s totally beautiful. It was also fun to see all the ladies from Undercover lovers. It’s also cool that Jade works at Ronnie’s bar. I love the family vibe and how they bring Jade into the fold.

Tory Baker gave us an incredible couple and story , Locke and Jade have a place on the top of my list of favorites.

Everything about this book is beautiful and unforgettable. Definitely add it to your list of must reads.

This was seriously hot from the get go. Jade and Locke are a dynamic couple so in love but keeping it a secret due to the fact Locke is Jades brothers best friend and ten years older. They loved each other wholeheartedly and were insatiable for each other. Their secret comes to light when there’s an accident and friendships are tested. A sweet, loving and steamy read where we are reacquainted with old friends and introduced to new ones. Great hea and a little snippet of the next protagonist.

A brother’s best friend romance that comes in hot and doesn’t let up the whole way through! I freaking love Locke! The man is perfectly protective, sexy as all get out, and doesn’t question for even a second that he’s choosing Jade over Jace every single time. It’s crazy cute how in deep these two are right off jump and how far they’ve been going to keep it a secret from her brother, and the little things Locke loves about having Jade in his space, his house, and his truck, will have you in a puddle at this man’s feet. Another prime time example of why Tory Baker is queen of the quick read romance that I am head over in heels in love with.
