Dating was already a dumpster fire—then came the Dateline match... and the body count.
Swipe. Ghost. Unmatch. Repeat. Modern love is brutal—but on Dateline, it’s downright deadly.
She wasn’t looking for a fairytale. Just someone who didn’t send "u up?" texts at 11 p.m. or lie about being single. But after one too-good-to-be-true match, things spiral fast—into flirty texts, missing footage, and a late-night crime scene that hits way too close.
Darkly hilarious and emotionally sharp, this twisted rom-com What if your best match came with a badge, a secret... and maybe a body bag?
For 28 years, I kept my stories to myself, using them as a way to navigate life’s challenges and moments of hope. Writing has always been my passion—a way to dive into the raw, unfiltered truths most people can’t bear to face. Now, I’m sharing those stories with the world.
My words are not for the faint of heart. They delve deep into the human experience, exploring the darkness we often shy away from and the resilience it takes to rise above it. Every story I write comes with a trigger warning advisory, because these are tales that confront pain, loss, and the harsh realities of life head-on. But they also reveal the strength, hope, and transformation that can emerge from the depths of despair.
Inspired by real-life experiences and blended with dark fiction, my stories are emotional and gripping, shining a light on themes like resilience, redemption, and the complexities of human nature. Each word is a reflection of the truths I’ve encountered and the imagination that shapes them.
If you’re ready to journey through the darkest corners of the human soul and discover the light that can emerge, my stories are for you. Welcome to my world—a place where fiction feels real, and every word leaves a lasting impact.
I look forward to connecting with you—as an avid reader, writer, and fitness enthusiast—to share stories, inspiration, and a passion for growth and transformation.
“No More Dates” by Tina S. Transformation is a fun, fast-paced, and intense story about a tight-knit book club of women just trying to live their lives—despite a serial killer targeting their town. I loved the loyalty between the friends and how they had each other’s backs through all the chaos. Salem the cat was a total scene-stealer, and Jamie’s journey to stay one step ahead of the killer had me hooked. This book had just the right mix of suspense and humor. I really enjoyed it!
No More Dates is a captivating , fast paced thriller. I absolutely loved the witty, sarcastic humor of Jamie and her friends and I believe Salem deserves his own standing ovation.
I love how she incorporates the Dateline app in this book. For those who don’t know what Dateline is, it’s an app created by 5 amazing authors from their anthology of terrifying stories from the dating app. Highly recommend that one too.
I loved this story! Most of us have gone through the experience of online dating and we all have our share of horror stories, but I doubt they are anything like this one. I loved the characters and I want to join their kick ass book club! These ladies could take on any psycho date.
Thank you Tina S Transformation. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
In No More Dates by Tina S. Transformation, Jaime moves into her inherited home with her loyal cat, Salem, only to discover she’s brought a digital nightmare along. By opening the 'Dateline' app, she unwittingly invites a chilling danger into her new life.
As my first introduction to this author, I was instantly hooked; it’s an alluring, fast-paced ride that kept my adrenaline spiking until the final page. Beyond the dark grit and humorous banter, this story surprised me with an ending that left me in tears. It beautifully captures the fierce love of friendship that anchors you during a crisis. I was also humored by the clever nods Transformation leaves for fellow indie authors throughout the story—fun 'Easter eggs' for any book lover!
***Many thanks to Tina S. Transformation for the advance reader copy. (I really enjoyed your writing style, too!) All opinions expressed are my own***
I can’t tell whether the formatting issues were meant to be a stylistic choice, or if the book truly needed stronger editing. Either way, the formatting was extremely distracting and detracted from the reading experience.
The book dragged on endlessly, and I just wanted—no, needed—it to end. The relentless, drawn-out descriptions of every waking moment quickly became exhausting. The actions of the protagonist was bewildering and senseless (not sure if that were intentional) but if it were, she was too one-dimensional, boring as hell, and underwhelming.
Overall, don’t waste your time with this one. Too silly of a read.
Dating is a true dumpster fire. Especially these apps. Swipe left on repeat. Twisty rom-com with extremely witty banter amongst friends and potential beaus.
The sarcastic main character and her friends were a true delight to read.
Oh and let's not forget the bodies/body bags piling up. Is there a serial killer on the loose?
Dark, fast-paced, and deliciously unhinged. This modern dating thriller is full of sharp twists, messy characters, and “one more chapter” energy. If online dating gives you trust issues already, this book will finish the job.
This book was such a fun short read! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. There was some spice which is so new for Tina buttttt she did it so well! Find out why the MFC shouldn’t go on anymore dates 🤣
This is my first book by Tina S Transformatio and I was hooked like a fish from the outset; it's a rip-roaring, thrill-ride of a tale that had me hanging on till the bitter end. This yarn spun a curveball of a finale that left me speechless. It captures the loyalty of friendship that's your anchor in hellacious times. I also loved the nods to fellow indie authors written throughout the book. She joins Dateline seeking a half-ass normal date... and instead gets swept into flirtatious late-night texts and a crime scene that gave me the chills. The atmosphere goes from cute to chaotic in record time. Tina's style is razor-sharp, wickedly clever enough to cut glass. The banter crackles with electricity, the tension sizzles, and every chapter boasts that addictive 'just one more' allure. And the love interest? Think charm, enigma, and 'I'm trouble, but I'm worth it' allure.Take a step into the dark side; you won't regret it. I gobbled this story up! I loved her besties and I wanna find a crazy kickass book club like theirs to join! These gals aren't afraid of anything. Buckle up for a fun and spine-tingling ride! Jaime joins Dateline, an online dating app, hoping to find love, but is she matched with Mr. Right or a certifiable psycho? Definitely 5 ⭐
Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ No More Dates by Tina S. Transformation
This book surprised me. Like, actually surprised me. I went in expecting light, fluffy chaos and instead got… cozy murder. And somehow that worked. Very well.
No More Dates is fun, fast, and ridiculously easy to inhale. Blink and you’re halfway through. It reads like a chick flick that took a wrong turn, tripped over a body, shrugged, and kept going with wine in hand. There’s humor, charm, and yes—murders. Casual ones. The kind that just… exist in the background while life goes on.
We’ve got a girl, a solid friend group, a cat (important), and an inheritance that includes a nice chunk of land, a house, and some money. Already living the dream. Toss in a dating app and a supposedly adorable cop who might—might—be a serial killer, and suddenly things get interesting. Her solution? Casually announce she’s gay now so they can “just be friends.” Honestly? Iconic behavior.
No spoilers, because I’m not a monster. But I will say this: if killer clowns make your soul leave your body—abort mission. Immediately. If not? Buckle up.
This is the kind of book you read curled up under a blanket, legs tucked in, drink within reach. Preferably with a pet nearby. Cat, dog, hamster, snake—whatever emotionally supports your reading habits. The vibe is cozy, slightly unhinged, and weirdly comforting.
And the most disturbing part? The fact that love and murder don’t have to be drenched in trauma, screaming, and abandonment issues for once. Here, it’s just girlfriends, falling in love, inheriting a house, adopting cats… and oh yeah, murder. As a side dish. Wildly refreshing.
Did it make me smile? Yes. Did that feel mildly concerning? Also yes. Am I mad about it? Absolutely not.
Four very lovable stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because this book made me happy in the strangest, darkest little way. Also—my inner detective was on a roll with this one.
Book clubs are always fun, a bunch of girlfriends getting together talking about their favorite books, having a few drinks, laughing, and talking about the most current life events within their group. When the club comes together, they are a force to be reckoned with.
Jamie lives alone with her cat Salem. All she is looking for is the perfect match, ok, maybe not so perfect, but a decent match. While using the Dateline app swiping to the left seems to be her only option until his face appears, Officer Cuffs, Sweet, nice looking, not married, a guy she could see herself going on a date or two with.
When the murders start, the news starts talking about a killer clown. The book club ladies start checking in on each other more often and are more careful when it comes to their meeting spot. Living alone is scary. It’s even worse with a killer clown on the loose.
This book had me rolling with laughter and setting with my mouth gapped open at the same time. There is nothing like a thriller/comedy to keep you guessing what direction the story is about to go. Definitely a 5+ star read.
This was such a wild ride. It is a quick read, but it never once felt thin or rushed. The story hits all the right notes of dark humor and dating chaos, and somehow it still manages to pack a real punch. Following the main character as she deals with modern dating disasters was hilarious in that slightly painful way that makes you grateful you are not out there swiping for your life. The Dateline twist adds a playful streak of danger that keeps the whole thing moving fast.
What I loved most was how sharp and clever it all felt. The nights that go wrong, the red flags that show up with perfect timing, and the absurdity of trying to find a decent human in a sea of strange profiles all come together in a way that feels way too relatable. The ending left me smiling and very pleased to be off the dating apps forever.
I love Transformation's writing style so much. Five stars from me.
Y’ALL! No More Dates is chaotic, sharp, and absolutely deadly in all the best ways. I didn’t even know my TBR needed this level of mayhem.
Our girl logs onto Dateline hoping for one normal, non-cringe match… and instead gets swept into flirty late-night texts, suspicious gaps in the story, and a crime scene moment that sent a chill straight down my spine. The vibe goes from “aww, cute” to “oh no, WHAT?!” in record time. 💀📱
Tina’s writing is smart, wickedly funny, and sharp enough to cut glass. The banter snaps, the tension sizzles, and every chapter has that delicious “just one more” pull. And the love interest? Listen—equal parts charm, shadowy mystery, and ‘I definitely shouldn’t trust you but here I am anyway’ energy.
Sharp, shadowy, and full of wicked turns—I inhaled this book in one sitting. Step into the dark; you won’t regret it.
Read this as a book club read. The writing style is fast paced and easy to read. I liked the fun chapter headings with the mask. The beginning of the book brought up a bunch of questions. Some of which were answered, but not all. The story felt like it jumped around a bit. Franks showing up, and her reaction. I felt like that was out of Jamie's character but maybe not. It just seemed so out of the blue considering the setting with the serial killer and the situation with Drew. My mouth was on the floor but not for a good reason. Jamie's instant trust for Franks (Who changes from Frank to Franks a few times, so I'm not sure if this was his first or last name.) Also how did Drew and Jamie talk for hours but she never asked his name? The saving grace in this book is the book club girls. And the indie author shout outs for AV and Brody.
No More Dates by Tina S. Transformation 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is a fun and exciting thriller! Jaime joins an online dating app, called Dateline, to hopefully find her love match. She’s hopeful to have possibly found her perfect person, but is he truly the one?
This story is very entertaining with a fun mix of thrills, excitement and even humor. This is a fast read, that is very engaging and sucked me into the story!
I was lucky to get an arc of this entertaining book!! Tina S. Transformation is a fantastic writer and I consistently enjoy all of her stories!!
What a great read! It was a perfect blend of suspense, comedy and action. Once I started reading, I could not stop. A true sign of a great story. I felt like part of the group. I related to the women and could easily see them all as friends. I was drawn into all the drama and could not wait to see what happened next. One moment I was craving pizza and wishing I had dated a cop at least once in my life and the next moment I was checking the locks on my doors. The ending was perfect and I am so glad I had the chance to read it!
This book was great. There were parts that were funny and relatable. Poor Jamie had a horrible dating history and decided to use and app called dateline (ironic, isn’t it that dateline airs things that have happened, like murders lol). She starts talking to an officer through the app and they connect and she goes on a date to a coffee shop with him.
I don’t want to give too many details, but this book was fun and suspenseful, waiting to see what happens.
I really enjoyed No More Dates! It’s a quick read that instantly grabs your attention. Honestly, Salem deserves to be a paid character for this one. I adored the cat in the story. There’s one scene that will stick with me forever. I won’t give away spoilers, but let’s just say it took place on the porch and had me laughing. I can’t even imagine the embarrassment if that actually happened with a deputy! 😂 Overall, it was a thrilling and entertaining read.
I loved No More Dates! Jamie has had bad luck with dating apps, until one catches her interest. They meet and hit it off. He's a police officer. He becomes protective of Jamie, because there's a serial killer on the loose. All of Jamie's friends worry about her safety after the killer strikes just blocks from her place of employment, The Rusty Bean. Someone wearing a clown mask was seen leaving the scene. Jamie discovers something and fears she is involved with the killer and could be next.
Such a quick, wild and entertainingly good thrill. The story was packed with witty banter. The characters did not disappoint not even the cat. Page by page the story had me laughing, frowning at some the characters actions and jaw dropping. The build up to the twist was perfect. Although I eventually pieced together the twist i still found myself in shock. Hands down this is one of my favorite books by Tina S. Transformation.
Thank you Tina for the eARC. This review is that of my own.
This was officially the first book I have read that was 100% written by Tina, and when I tell y'all I devoured this book, I DEVOURED it. No More Dates is one of my favorite reads of 2026!!
It is a fun, fast-paced and HILARIOUS story that I will NOT get over anytime soon!! I will DEFINITELY be reading more of her work as I am now obsessed!!
Is this what y’all deal with on dating apps??😳😳🤦♀️🤦♀️😂😂 Thank god I’m married!! Poor Jamie swiped the wrong guy and can’t say much more without giving away spoilers 🤷♀️🤷♀️ this is a great read, fun story and might be left open for part 2??
NO MORE DATES By: TINA S TRANSFORMATION. Omg what was that ? I cannot believe how unlucky Jamie was in this story with regard to dating. It’s a very short read so so good .
Wasn't what I expected. I expected a thriller, while it had it's thriller storyline it was mostly a romance book. Bad guy definitely wasn't who I thought.
