I have found the guide to be good to learn some things about certain areas but it lacks the kind of information you need to plan itineraries and things to do.
Also not enough information about beaches, which I found to be particularly disappointing given Crete being such a major holiday destination for sea lovers.
I would not recommend buying this and relying instead on online information, although it does contain a few gems that I didn't find online.

Great for honeymoon planning! Wish it had some more local favorites of restaurants and bars listed, as well as more logistical information for travel throughout the island.
