It feels so good to be back in Miller’s Pointe! When a soft spoken electrician with the patience of Job bumps into an independent woman with a slick mouth and a mean streak an unexpected attraction is born. I really enjoyed Meleck and Wren. These two set a great tone for Miller’s Pointe volume 2. I loved being back at The Phoxes Den catchin’ up with Beauden, Yelena, Wilde, Ms. Mel, and my boy Billy Bad Azz. I loved being transported back to the Jubilee celebrating with the townsfolk and the visitors. A good time is always had when we get to pull up to our favorite cowboy town.
We got a glimpse of Wren in the previous book as Sareece’s bestie. She had so much personality that I was hoping that she would get her own story. And she did! I was definitely not disappointed. There’s no shortage of good people doing everything they can for friends and family, and that definitely included Wren. She wasn’t a single parent in the traditional sense, but she was raising her teenage sister after their father passed away. She was so focused on her sister and setting a good example that she wasn’t really thinking about finding love.
Meleck just happened to run into her..literally. He was so drawn to her that he didn’t really want to leave her side. And we love when a great MMC that loves the kids and the kids love them back!!!
Another HEA that had me smiling and kicking my feet!! I’m so glad there ar many more to go!
Perfect! I had a time reading this book! Wren and Malek were so intriguing and sweet to read. I was smiling the entire time. They meet each other at the perfect one, creating the sweetest book. This would be the perfect hallmark movie .. such a great read
Charity and her immaculate pen strikes again!! Baby i LOVEDDDDD me some Meleck! The way he cared for Wren and Amara off rip solidified it for me! Whew! I loves me an unproblematic love story!
Meleck arrives in Miller’s Point and steals the heart of Wren and I loved it. These two were cute together and Meleck was spreading cheer like wildfire. Not only did Wren like him, but the person who means the world to her, her sister Amara takes to him instantly. It was a treat being back in the Point. The Phox Den, Jubilee, Beauden and Yelena…chefs kiss.🤌🏾 Happy Christmas Reading Y’all!💋🎄
Yesssss Meleck 🥰 we love an intentional cowboy👏🏾 I loved Wren and Meleck together and also loved how he bonded with Amara as well. I loved how Wren took such good care of her sister she’s definitely a real one and deserves all the happiness. This was a great insta-love story so well written and such a cute and sweet vibe. I’m already loving Season2 🔥
Charity you done dropped another one and it was an enjoyable read from start to finish as I expected 🔥 📚 🖊️ 👏🏾
I am about to electric slide my way through this great story. I adored Wren and her feisty little sister. Meleck, the electrician, was in town looking for a temporary ranch position for the winter. He met Wren, and could not disconnect from the electrical current between them. Miller's Pointe sounds like a wonderful place to find love and peace.
I swear I need me a Meleck. The way he paid attention and did for others was sexy. Now nothing holds a candle to his adoration for Wren and her sister. He spoiled and held them down.
I loved Wren!!! She wasn’t hyper independent but she took care of her little family. Meleck came into their lives and only added to them in the best way. So cute.
✨ Tropes: - Small Ranch Town - Instant Love - Forced Proximity - Meet Cute by Collision
This was a cozy, sweet, and swoony read that had me gushing and blushing. Loved Meleck's care and concern for both Wren and Wren’s sister, Amara!
One thing Charity Shané does well is thoroughly research her characters’ professions for her books and provide insights that are not boring or overly descriptive, but carefully integrated.
Like Meleck talking to Wren about her electrical wiring issues in the barn, and it had me intrigued, and I was thinking, keep talking, sir! Or Wren’s soaps had me imagining the scents or the jams, which made me salivate.
Listen, you ladies are killing Season 2. I'm so in love with couples so far, and I'm only two in.
Ms. Charity Shane, I love everything you write. And I do mean everything.
Meleck and Wren were a perfect match. She's independent, driven, and a boss while he is quiet, loving, handsome, and fine. He is also good with his hands. I love the relationship that he developed with Amara. He considered her in everything and made sure she was good.
This is a cute, cute story. Loved every minute!!!!
Foremost, ugh 🤔where’s Meleck’s daddy, grandpa, single uncles, older cousins 📝🔥🤷🏾♀️🤭⁉️Meanwhile, yup it’s an all points bulletin for something hot dark bearded chocolate & sweet just hit those Phoxy streets …it’s Miller Time y’all🤠👀🤩🤭‼️Like a kid in a candy store, “Meleck & Wren: A Miller’s Pointe Christmas” is/was worth a cavity or two, a sugar high & or a diabetic coma 🤭🤷🏾♀️‼️A sweet holiday literary treat revisited & the photo montage of Wren & Meleck on Threads & IG were perfect visuals 🎁🥰‼️
Loved everything about this book. Meleck was a man on the move looking for his next ranching stint. A chance mishap lands him in the path of Wren.
This couple has chemistry for days. I loved how they just developed without any fluff and bs. They were truly on their grown folks vibe. How Meleck just took care of Wren and Amara was so sweet. Wren was a woman used to taking care of herself but let her softness show when it was needed. Great read.
I love when these group collabs come out from KMP Publishing. The two authors I look most forward to is Charity Shane and KC Mills because their books, although individual they match up perfectly as if both books are written together. And their characters are so likable that you can’t help but get lost in the story and feel like you are right there with them. This was definitely a feel good Christmas story you have to read.
Season 2 is 🔥🔥 and this is only the second book. Ms. Charity Shane your pen is blessed.
Meleck, I love the way you love on your lady. He becomes the protective big brother to Amara. Ms. Wren is Miss independent because she didn’t have a choice until Meleck shows her how to depend on him. I just love Meleck and Wren together.
Meleck and Wren were so drawn to each other the moment they ran into each other literally. Wren and Amara felt like home to Meleck and he finally wanted to plant roots. Wren liked how Meleck was so protective of her and Amara and how good he fit into their little family. I’m glad that they had a drama free book.
This was so good. I loved how grumpy Wren was initially. How she got it together once she realized the kind of man Meleck was. I loved his energy and his profession too. I loved Amara and the relationship she and Wren had. This was a great story and loved how it ended too.
I love how book 1 from season two is entwined in this book. Wren is definitely a strong woman deserving of love. And she gets that and more from Meleck. She was what he needed to plant roots in Miller's Pointe.
I wonder why Uncle Rufus wife acted nasty towards his family? I'm glad Meleck didn't stay with them. Wren found someone who was really their for her and Amara. Their little family is perfect.
Definitely should be on everyone’s Christmas book list to read. I absolutely love this couple and being in Miller’s Pointe is always a plus. I loved that the characters names were different.
I enjoyed this story from beginning to end and I was left wanting more from this couple. They fell into a nice and easy rhythm that was organic and without drama.
