About the author

Alex Emerson grew up outside of Buffalo, New York. An avid reader from a young age, he credits his first grade teacher for cultivating a love of writing and spinning tales.

Along with writing anything from poetry to short stories to newspaper articles, he also developed a taste for John Carpenter movies, electronic music, a wide array of video game genres, and nerdy pop culture references.

With a BA in Psychology and a career in IT, Alex has turned his wide range of experiences, acquaintances, and interests into a veritable fount of genre-bending content. Now residing in central New York with his wife, two children, and an absolutely brilliant yet confoundingly ridiculous labradoodle, Alex is constantly looking at the next opportunity to create, whether through novels, content on YouTube, or the recent development in the area of painting.

He is hoping against hope that one day he will be able to support his family through his various creative ventures.
