Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins' ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben's the only man she's ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn't looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.
Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She's his best friend's little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he's not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he's always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible . . . but will it lead to a connection of the heart?

So I'd been knocked up by a rock star. Big deal.

Also, wow, if this was the result of having great sex then I was so never going there again. Not even for mediocre sex. Nothing. I might even rule out masturbation, just in case. You couldn't be too careful. Random attack sperm could be anywhere, just waiting to get a girl in trouble.

Dreamy dark eyes pinned me in place, owning me. He licked his lips. Every time he did that my hormones erupted into the song of joy, a full orchestra plus heavenly choir accompanying. The whole shebang. It was ridiculous.
Goodness, did he look angry. Between the beard and the expression on his face, he looked downright barbaric. He might as well be dressed in furs and carrying a spear, presenting me with the boar he'd caught for dinner. Ah, good old-fashioned Stone Age romance.

A wounded heart was apparently no competition for an overeager vagina. The urge for sperm made no sense. I already had a baby on board. My tart, attention-seeking nipples stood out loud and proud beneath my top, just begging for his lips. The situation between my legs wasn't any better.

Without comment he sat up, grabbing the back of his button-down shirt and pulling it over his head. His chest was so pretty. So hard and big and stuff, it made my IQ drop to my shoe size. Everything about him did. The bearded sex machine turned me into a stuttering fool. Sad but true.

"Good girls don't fall for rock stars."
"So I'd been knocked up by a rock star. Big time."

"So I’d been knocked up by a rock star. Big deal."

“This guy and me, we were doomed from the start.”

“Hell of a fucking coincidence,” said Jim, adding more baked salmon and broccoli to Lena’s plate. “Thanks, babe.” She dove right in. It was beautiful, the way he paid such keen attention to her. The woman was clearly his world. Lena had no sooner looked at something than he was serving it up. She shifted in her seat and he ran for more cushions. A queen couldn’t have been treated better.
“A noble dream,” chuckled Mal. “Seriously though, bands breaking up happens all the time. Takes a fair amount to put up with the same people day in, day out.”
“This your way of saying you’re out?” asked Jim, smirk in place.
“Damn, man,” said Ben with a straight face. “We’ll miss you and shit.”
“Wait, what was your name again?” asked David, scratching his head. Mal gave them all the bird. “Ha-ha. You useless fuckers. You’d be lost without me.”

So I’d been knocked up by a rockstar. Big deal.

“Why are you here?” I reached behind my head and grabbed his wrists, stilling him. “Ben?”
“Because apparently, I’m shit at staying away from you.”

“Aren’t I just the best? Ohmigod I’m fucking amazing! My own mind is just blown by me. Put it there, little sis.”

But you and me, we’ve never been easy. Minute I saw you, it’s been complicated.
“You got my dick on a leash. Might as well have the rest of me.”
“What does that mean?”
“Means I’ve given up getting over you and I’m focusing on getting into you instead.”
"I don't want to be places you're not."I loved being back with the band!! And narrator Andi Arndt has become a favorite of mine. I'm going to listen to more of Kylie Scott's books just to hear Ms. Arndt's voice.
This guy and me, we were doomed from the start.I thought KS dodged too many tough conversations. Ben would say fairly terrible things and Lizzie would let them go ==> over and over again.

“You’re the only girl I want.”
“The moment I came into Ben Nicholson’s orbit I was helpless, powerless to resist his pull.”
“It was like we were each other’s whole world. Nothing else existed beyond the bed.”
“One day I’d find someone else who made me feel like Ben did. I just had to wait it out.”
“Just give me a chance to catch up and I promise, Lizzy, I will have your back.”
