Hey I'm Todd!
I have loved reading from an early age due to my home-schooled upbringing. I discovered my love for writing when I joined Tumblr in 2011. There, I quickly began writing what was on my heart and through doing so, I gained a following. I hope my writing has given you hope and encouragement along the way, and feel free to message me on my website if you'd like more information or just to say hi.

My two books out right now are:

SO MUCH FEELS

Be here with me, and let's talk of love, hope, peace and the joys of tomorrow; it's so dark and the world is so hurt, but if we talk for a little while, maybe we can bring a little light to where we are.

Am I really the first person to leave a review for this lovely book? Todd is such a wonderful writer, and his writing style just warms your heart. This book has four different sections, and I think there will be at least one section you will enjoy and will be relatable to you. The only bad thing about this book is that it eventually comes to an end. I enjoyed the entire book, however I'd like to share my most favorite, which is located on page 103,
"When it comes to love,
I think we meet in a
place of uncertainty,
and then we make our
way from there, until
we have found our
way home."

(This is my first time writing a book review ever!!)

Be careful, you who care so much, because you still need to be cared for as well.

Phenomenal.
It's not always that I feel like a book gets me but this, THIS, really gets me. Reading this made me feel not alone, made me feel seen.

“You won’t hurt forever. You’ll love and laugh again. Just stay strong until you have felt the sun on your face, and you know that you have made it… Just hold on. The pain will be silenced one day.”

THOUGHTS ON UNWRITTEN LETTERS TO YOU:

"I don't just want the idea of you. I want the reality of you; the you that is hidden to the world."

I was really hoping for a poetry collection, but this one's more of a letter-type-essay thing. That's not a bad thing at all. I was just personally craving for poems with rhythm and rhymes. I liked some ideas that were said in the book. I'll probably tweet them in the following days to come. But reading it in a male perspective is a different kind of experience. A different view which is a good thing, I think. I was just kind of confused because the essays are not sequentially arranged. It's like in one page, the perspective's single and on another he's brokenhearted over someone and on another he's longing for love. I would have preferred a divide of sorts.

"You'll realize that you are longing for love, a comfortable and simple love; one that gives you a reason to shut off the computer and just have a conversation. You want a companion who will be there, who will be willing to give you the space and who will also keep you close."

About 10 years ago I came across T.B. Laberge's writing on Tumblr and I loved it! I have been wanting this book for years and finally, after all this time, I bought it. I liked it but I didn't love it like I used to love his writing back then. I probably related to it more back then than I do now. I'm still happy that I bought it, I'll hold on to it. Maybe in another season of life I will relate to some of it again. who knows!

“ You were alive before they came around, so don’t let them stop you from living again. Just because they didn’t want you doesn’t mean you are unwanted. Just because they didn’t want forever with you doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a forever. Just because love wasn’t written for you both doesn’t mean your life is written with any less love. “

"You mean more to me than my words can express. Your value outweighs my vocabulary. No melody of thought can adequately explain the soul that you are. The beauty that resides within you outshines the expanse of my mind. It hurts, because I want to tell you this; but I find myself stuck in the void of past mistakes."

It's very accurate ! You can read this book and tear its papers and send them to your lover. His words express everything that is going inside us ... Maybe the little details that we wouldn't talk about it or we didn't know how . This book is made for every broken soul ... These kind of books are rare but very deep with an artistic touch.

This book was a collection of words I didn’t know I felt. It was words I wish I could say and words my heart needed. Very intentionally written. I really appreciated the design and set up the book as well, very thought out. Looking forward to more of his writings.

This wasn't for me, this felt not like poetry. As I always say, rating poetry is difficult but I didn't find any connection with these unfortunately.
