A very nice little mystery - which of the four girls (if any?) is the mother of the twins? I see that this is part of a series and I’m definitely keen to read the others and see what gaps are filled.

I enjoyed the present day chapters with their search for Rachel and the truth, and honestly became more invested in them than I did the war ones which is a change! There at times seemed to be too many plots going on at once in the war time chapters, and also we never really found out what exactly happened to separate the twins, and what happened to them immediately after that, which I would have been very interested in learning!
