Don’t even waste your time. I honestly thought all the bad reviews would be lying based on all the cute little scenes I saw on TikTok, but alas they were definitely not wrong. This book was actually just so terrible and I had to stop reading after this corporate goody two shoes FMC let some random man do a body shot off of her for absolutely no reason. That threw me for a loop and I was just done. The writing was so off and honestly the MMC got on my nerves bc he loved the FMC, but won’t even tell her how important she is to him. No cute scene from TikTok is worth this crap. AVOIDDDDD!

This might be my favorite of the series. Mostly because the FMC made him work for it after she’s been pining for him for years. I do wish they would have gotten together sooner. I usually don’t mind this but there was too much OM drama for me. This OM showed up every freaking where. I was thinking he had some nefarious plans for our girl because it couldn’t be a coincidence that he just kept ending up in the same place as her over and over and over again. But no he was just always there. And I think that’s why he bugged me so much. Every time he came around I was like ugh go somewhere, you’re not Enzo! Lol. Anyway Enzo took a minute to realize his obsession but once he did he went full force. I wish his touch aversion was fleshed out more. He mentions it once and then it’s never brought up again.

There were some parts that were meant to show how obsessed his was that I thought were a little out there. Like him saying he stole her glasses and wore them while he jacked off thinking about her. I was like ummm what??? lol

The ending wrapped up way too quickly. They were fighting and then the next chapter is the epilogue. Didn’t quite work for me.

I’m surprised there’s another brother. He’s never mentioned!! I’ll definitely read the next one.

Boss/ Secretary romance with a madly in love heroine and a hero who denies his feelings.
This book has much better character building and plot than the previous books, but it frustrated me how much time they spent apart because the hero kept pushing her away and she kept dating and sleeping with other men.

Also I’m glad when they get together, it doesn’t have more drama but it had a few issues that irked me.

His Little Angel is a fast burn, Grumpy boss x effective assistant romance. Mila has been working for Enzo for 3 years. She fell in love with him and realised he will never reciprocate her love so she decided to resign.

When Enzo realised she was leaving him for good, he went from grumpy boss to over possessive man. Apparently there is a curse in his family where their loves turn to obsession and they cannot live without their women. After Enzo saw his father succumb to that, he didn’t want any women in his life. He thought he could kept Mila in his world orbiting around himself without claiming her as his.

I love that Mila made Enzo worked for her back. She treated him so rudely like he treated her when they started working together. Bruh, the man was so obsessed with her, he made her sign his balls 🙈

I rarely ( very rarely) read novellas but I got influenced by watching a few tiktoks about this book. The most disappointing thing is that the things that I watched in those videos are the only things happening in the first 50%. There’s nothing else. Those are the major scenes in the first 50%. The second 50% is just bad smut.

Overall it’s just him realizing he loves her and then trying to bulldoze into her life.

I LOVE possessive men, I love it when they’re obsessive. This guy was acting unhinged in a cringy way.

Y en esta entrega para mi siendo la mas intensa de la serie Los hermanos Morelli hasta ahora la autora cambia el ritmo respecto a los libros anteriores y en lugar de una obsesión instantánea y explosiva se construye una tensión de tres años de anhelo silencioso que finalmente estalla cuando Mila decide irse. Esa espera hace que la caída de Enzo se sienta más devastadora y de alguna manera más real dentro del marco ficticio de la serie.

Enzo es un personaje interesantemente fascinante porque su lucha interna contra la maldición familiar (que entendi que es enamorarse al fin) añade una capa de vulnerabilidad que no habíamos visto tanto en Cassian. Ver como se desmorona y niega lo evidente y finalmente se rinde por completo resulta profundamente satisfactorio de quienes disfrutamos el tema de enemigos a amigos en medio de una obsesion. Mila, igual .... no se deja pisotear porque exige respuestas, pone a prueba su compromiso y se niega a conformarse con menos de lo que merece lo cual la convierte en una protagonista con más agencia que las anteriores.

Como siempre la autora no escatima en escenas explícitas cargadas de posesividad extrema y el ritmo trepidante mantiene el interés de principio a fin. Aqui esta claramente la fórmula de dinámicas tóxicas elevadas con guiños entrañables a los hermanos anteriores que enriquecen el universo compartido.

La historia es simple y nos cuenta que Mila lleva tres años siendo la asistente perfecta de Enzo Morelli memorizando cada detalle de su vida mientras se enamora en silencio de un hombre que apenas parece notarla como mujer.

Cuando decide renunciar para proteger lo poco que le queda de dignidad Enzo se descompone de formas que nunca imaginó posibles. Lo que había mantenido enterrado durante años la "supuesta" maldición Morelli, esa obsesión que consumió a sus hermanos .... finalmente lo alcanza y descubre que no puede soportar la idea de que otro hombre, otro trabajo o cualquier otra vida la aleje de él.

Entre celos descontrolados, un beso que lo cambia todo y la resistencia de Mila a aceptar las migajas después de años de invisibilidad, Enzo se ve forzado a confrontar lo que realmente siente. Cuando finalmente se entrega a la obsesión sin reservas, la relación se convierte en un territorio de posesividad absoluta, devoción física intensa y una entrega mutua sin límites. Mila deberá decidir si puede confiar en un hombre que tardó tanto en verla, mientras Enzo aprende que proteger a la mujer que ama significa dejar de huir de la maldición que corre por su sangre.

Amé este tercer libro.

De verdad, lo amé.

Y recuerden que yo empecé esta serie por el cuarto libro. Después me devolví para leer los anteriores, y ahora puedo decir que este tercero estuvo buenísimo.

Lo que más me gustó de esta pareja fue que, por primera vez, ella ya estaba enamorada de él desde el principio.

Ella ya conocía perfectamente cómo era él.

Sabía que su forma de amar era obsesiva.

Sabía cómo funcionaba su cabeza.

Y aun así dijo: “Yo quiero eso.”

Ella quería ser el centro de su mundo. Quería ser su obsesión, su perfección y la única persona en la que él pudiera pensar. Eso hizo que la dinámica entre los dos fuera completamente diferente a la de los otros libros, y me encantó.

Además, la protagonista nunca dejó de respetarse a sí misma.

Eso fue algo que disfruté muchísimo.

No sentí que perdiera su personalidad por estar con él, y creo que eso hizo que la relación funcionara todavía mejor.

Y él…

Creo que fue el protagonista masculino más racional de toda la serie.

Sí, sigue siendo obsesivo.

Sí, sigue siendo posesivo.

Sí, tiene comportamientos que claramente no son normales.

Pero comparado con sus hermanos, él se siente muchísimo más equilibrado.

Su obsesión está completamente enfocada en ella y en protegerla, no en controlar absolutamente todo lo que la rodea.

No quiero explicar mucho más porque sería entrar en spoilers, pero si tuviera que elegir al protagonista más “sano” de esta familia… definitivamente sería él.

Y eso ya dice bastante, porque ninguno está precisamente bien de la cabeza. 😂

También necesito hablar de los tatuajes.

No voy a decir nada más porque arruinaría la sorpresa, pero esa parte me encantó.

Fue uno de esos detalles que hicieron que quisiera todavía más a esta pareja.

En serio, esta historia fue increíble.

La disfruté muchísimo.

Hasta ahora llevo cuatro libros de esta serie y ninguno ha bajado de las cuatro estrellas.

Eso ya habla muy bien de la autora.

Me terminé este libro hoy mismo y apenas lo cerré vine a escribir esta reseña porque necesitaba decir lo mucho que me gustó.

Así que, si todavía estás dudando si leer esta serie…

So what pulled me into this book was definitely the whole “her boss” trope! I love that dynamic when it’s done right!!! The tension, the slow burn, the build-up? Yes please! But this… this was not it.

Everything just escalated way too fast. Like one second they’re existing and the next we’re supposed to believe they’re deeply into each other? There was zero chemistry. I didn’t feel any tension, no emotional buildup, nothing that made me root for them. It just felt rushed.

The way the secretary (the supposed main female lead) talked about herself really threw me off. I get that low self-esteem is common in romance books. It’s basically a staple at this point but hers felt excessive. It didn’t feel layered or intentional. It just made her not feel like an actual MFL. Then out of nowhere she’s suddenly super confident? The switch was so random. There was no growth arc, no moments that showed her building that confidence. It just happened, and it didn’t make sense.

I hate DNFing books because I’m always like, “Okay but what if it gets better?” You never know. But I got to 72% and I just could not push through. His “obsession” with her felt so forced. The way he described his feelings sounded like lines copied from every other romance book, but I didn’t believe a single word of it. It felt cringe instead of intense.

And don’t even get me started on the 360 he did once she was leaving. Suddenly he’s in love? Suddenly he can’t live without her? Why though?? There was no reasoning, no moment where you could point to and say, “Oh, that’s when he fell.” It just felt convenient for the plot.

Overall, the whole book felt like a low-budget prduction which is funny since writung has no budget and just your imagination. The same background settings, no real depth, barely any emotional layering. It just felt flat. I really wanted to like it because the trope had so much potential, but it just didn’t deliver for me.🫠
