I read a lot of good books and plenty of five-star reads but when I say this was an easy five stars, I mean it.
I was literally in tears while reading and found myself shouting at the pages, rooting for Mae the entire time. She goes through everything you could imagine, and just when I thought the plot couldn’t get any thicker, the story twisted again and again. My jaw was on the floor the whole time.
If you’re looking for a suspenseful romance, this is absolutely it! But don’t expect a typical love story. This one will leave you completely floored.
Trigger warnings: pregnancy and parental loss.

Three years later, she’s divorced and stepping into a new chapter, more grounded, trying to figure out who she is now, when someone from her past unexpectedly shows up. Tye, her first love, the person she once imagined a whole future with.
Mary has spent years carrying things she’s never fully dealt with, including the quiet belief that she’s never been “enough.” Seeing Tye again brings old feelings and unanswered questions to the surface, especially as she’s trying to decide what she wants her life and relationships to look like moving forward.
Mary and Tye work through their past, the complications of their present, and the possibility of something more. It’s a grounded, emotional look at second chances, found family, and learning to choose yourself.
If you enjoy second‑chance romance with some emotional depth and a lot of heart, this one is an easy recommendation.

This was such a raw, emotional read. Enough dives deep into grief, love, and the weight of past decisions in a way that feels incredibly personal and honest. Mary’s journey toward healing and rediscovering herself alongside a rekindled first love was both heartbreaking and hopeful.
You can really tell this story comes from a deeply personal place, and after reading it, I completely understand the author’s decisions regarding its availability. It doesn’t shy away from heavy topics, so definitely check trigger warnings beforehand.

Beautiful Debut
I’ll keep this short. This is a great conversational piece.
Life was cutting tail for Mae. Sex, Lies and betrayal was the name of the game. If you want to go deeper the feeling of never “being enough” for those you love and even yourself could one day kill you.

great read
I enjoyed the story line and twist and turns. Also, liked how Mary fought to not be a victim. Nice to see people actively working to be healthy. Good read with all the things.
