Keys to My City: Mills Brothers, Book 1
Milly Grove, home of Kenneth 'Uno' Mills, has been exclusively run by his family for over a century.
Commissioner by day and gangsta by night, he's the man in his city. Although he may hold a position in office, don't be fooled by the expensive tailored suits. Disrespecting him will cost you your life.
When the current mayor is exposed for misconduct, Uno steps in to make sure the position continues to be held by the Mills bloodline. His decision to run for Mayor leaves the family at odds. 🔑 Book Review — Keys to My City by Nek Mills
Kenneth “Uno” Mills stepping into the mayor’s seat? Yeah… the city wasn’t ready. 👏🏾
After being introduced in The Boudreaux Mafia series, I was ready to experience the Mills Brothers. This was a great introduction to Milly Grove. After reading the reviews, I was nervous because the reviews were mixed. But what some have to realize when building a universe, you are introducing and developing new characters and building up to a great plot so there will be a slow start.
With that being said Uno brought straight BDE. Confident, strategic, and unapologetic about protecting what’s his. Watching him navigate power, politics, and loyalty while still keeping his focus on Harley had me LOCKED IN.
And let’s talk about Harley for a second, Uno does not play about her. And that was towards everyone, including those with the same blood running through their veins. The chemistry, the tension, the ride-or-die vibe🔥🔥🔥
Keys To My City gave:
✨ power moves ✨ loyalty over everything ✨ romance mixed with street energy ✨ a man that refused to fold
Keys to My City is city politics with hood 🥷🏾, and a love story that holds its own in the chaos. Nek Mills did not disappoint at all. This was my 4th book and she has become one of my fav authors. I listened to the audiobook. Midnite Michael & Trei Taylor definitely brought the story to life with their amazing narration.

Anything by Nek is always going to be 5 stars! 😂 I already know I’m gonna laugh and get the perfect amount of unhinged men I want. I need a Major who does NOT play about his woman, his family, or his city. Yessss, please! 😮💨🔥💕 Narrators were on point, really brought the story to life.
