Six months after testifying against a powerful drug lord and sending him to prison, I’m settled into my new life in Las Vegas, working as a bartender at the exclusive, members-only casino, Elysium. I love my job, and I’m starting to make friends for the first time in my life, but I’m still lonely, waiting for my white knight to sweep me off my feet and carry me into the sunset. Sure, I might be a hopeless romantic, but I know my knight is real. I even know what he looks like. Ghost is a member of the Steel Sinners, the MC that owns and operates Elysium. I don’t catch sight of him often, but when I do, he takes my breath away. I’m desperate for him to approach me and far too shy and inexperienced to make the first move myself. I figure it’s hopeless, that is until the night my past life finds me and it’s Ghost who comes to my rescue with promises of protection and safety. But even white knights aren’t invincible, and I’m afraid I’m putting mine at greater risk the longer I stay with him. Leaving will break my heart, but it might be my only choice.
Ghost
I’m not what anyone would call a good man. My past is riddled with darkness and bad decisions. Years ago, I was set on a downward spiral into the bottom of a bottle until Pope found me and set me on a better path. Las Vegas and the Steel Sinners has been my second chance, but I’ll admit I haven’t fully embraced it. I’m holding back, still plagued by the mistakes of my old life. So when I see the beautiful woman with vibrant blue eyes, I know I have to keep my distance no matter how much it pains me. But I watch her; I can’t help it. She sees me too; Iris looks at me with a desire I can’t let myself answer. She deserves better than me, but I can’t look away. So I see it when her bright smile dims and falls. I see it when fear makes her body tremble. The moment it happens, I’m moving without thought, ready to do whatever it takes to chase the shadows from her eyes. I’ll do whatever it takes to protect her, even if it means embracing my inner darkness. Iris is mine. I might not be worthy of her, but I can be what she needs.

She ran from death and found safety in a dangerous man.
Iris has already lost one life. After testifying against a cartel leader, she’s given a new name, a new city, and one rule: don’t look back. In Las Vegas, she tries to build something quiet at Elysium, but loneliness follows her, and so does her past.
Ghost sees too much, says too little, and wants Iris with painful restraint. He knows he isn’t safe or soft enough for her, but when fear finds her again, distance stops mattering. Protection becomes proximity, and shelter starts to look like possession.
For Iris, Ghost is the first person who doesn’t ask her to disappear just to survive. For Ghost, she’s the first thing in years that makes him want more than punishment and control. Their connection is fast, physical, and built on need, trust, fear, and devotion that won’t stay reasonable.
But the danger chasing Iris doesn’t care who she loves, and love becomes the pressure point used against her. When staying could put Ghost at risk, Iris is pushed toward a choice that tests whether safety means running or letting someone stand beside her.
Iris grows from surviving under a false identity into someone who can claim desire, safety, and love without disappearing to protect everyone else. Ghost shifts from self-punishment into devotion, learning his darkness can protect without defining him. Their bond turns longing into a possessive, high-heat love built through fear, rescue, trust, and intimacy.
An ultra-steamy, dark romantic suspense with age gap, instalove, hidden identity, MC protection, mafia ties, forced proximity, possessive devotion, and a morally gray hero who becomes dangerous for the woman he loves. It’s about survival, trust, obsession, sexual awakening, chosen family, and being protected without having to disappear.
The Elevator Pitch: A woman hiding behind a borrowed name finds herself drawn to the one man dangerous enough to make safety feel like desire. When her past closes in, his restraint fractures into devotion, pulling them into a bond built on heat, fear, and the aching need to be chosen. But love this intense doesn’t just protect, it demands a choice between running again and trusting the darkness that came for her first.

I've been waiting for Ghost's story and ooohh wheee. It's such a crazy wild ride.😄😄👍🏻👍🏻 I loved it!!!!!!♥️♥️♥️ Definitely worth waiting for!!! I started reading and instantly got intrigued and wrapped up with the action, the suspense, the interconnected world building of the characters. Ghost, going back to the Lords of New York series, and Pope, of course, from the Steel Sinners MC and bringing it all together right here. Let's not forget the high heat attraction and raw connection brewing between Ghost and Iris.🔥🌋🔥🌋🔥🌋🔥 Ghost tries to hold back, to stay away. He really really TRIES.lol But Iris has been on his radar for 6 months. But the man watches, never approaches. Just.... haunting her.😝 Never guessing that the Elysium bartender/server has been yearning for him too. Iris wants that mysterious tall man.😚 She's not afraid of the dark cloud that seems to follow him. Ghost is dangerous.🤜🏼💥 But not with Iris. He wants to protect her and have her as his woman. It's serious y'all.💋
Ghost has his secrets. Iris has her secrets. What's going to happen when past threats start to slither their way to Las Vegas and latch onto Iris??🐍🐍 You think Ghost is going to just let that happen!!!?😱 No one will touch his gioia mia. But to do this, trust must be shared. Who's going to take a chance and make the first move? The baddies won't give up. Neither will the Steel Sinners family.✊🏻🚨🔫🚨🔫🚨🔫🚨🔫
ℹ️Don't worry if you haven't read the other books, Ms Hart explains the crossover information so her readers don't feel out of the loop.ℹ️
It's written well. There's plenty of possessive hungry spice. From both of them.♨️🧖♀️♨️🧖🏼♨️ I could see who was doing what but it didn't diminish the reading experience for me. I recommend it. If you like romantic steamy suspense then this book may be for you. You should read it.🎉🎉🎉🎉 I like the book cover. It's great that Ghost found his HEA. I'm wondering if Ms Hart is going to write a book about Bishop. Pope's twin brother. I hope she does.🤞🏻 Happy reading.*•>§<•*❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

👨🏼🏭🎲👩🔬Thank you to Ms Hart. These are my honest thoughts on the story I read.👩🔬🎲👨🏼🏭
Possessed by Ghost is a great quick easy read Novella with all the vibes. Hiding from a cartel in Witness Protection, Iris enjoys working at Elysium, tending the bar and keeping her head down. Living a new life away from Austin Texas, Vegas is big enough to hide in. Or so she thought! Víboras Gemelas, The Cartel that she went into witness protection for have found her! She knew it would not last. All good things that happen to her never do! Enter Ghost! He has been watching Iris from afar. The gorgeous girl with the big blue eyes has been on his radar for the last six months since he first laid eyes on her. When he sees her upset by a customer, he is by her side in an instant...... Iris knows she has to leave. She needs to report to Henry, the US Marshall, that has been looking after her whilst in the Witness Protection Program. Ghost finds Iris in the bathrooms. He knows he should stay away, keep his distance. His dark history makes him a damaged man, one who does not deserve being anywhere near Iris. Shame that she has had the "hots" for Ghost since she saw him across the bar room also. When she spills everything to him, he makes the decision to keep her safe. The Steel Sinners MC look after their own, and as Iris works for them and is considered family, no one gets away with threats on their turf in their Casino! So now that Iris and Ghost have actually spoken with each other and he has touched her, there is no going back. He is obsessed with her and she is now His! Yeh, who doesn't like a hot possessive Alpha taking over and keeping you safe....Me, I do!! Ghost and Iris together heat up the pages with a slow burn love, as he gives her what she wants but does not give her it all! And she wants All Of Him!! Whew....hot and spicy!! All is well with Iris, with her staying close to Ghost and not leaving the Casino, until Henry rings and tells her he has to relocate her with a new identity. Betrayal stings and the danger looms closer. She doesn't want to leave Ghost, but when threats are made, she knows what she needs to do. True love never runs smooth, as Ghost and Iris find out. A bit of drama, cos every cartel/MC book needs a bit of drama before ending with a HEA!
Possessed by Ghost by Cassi Hart is a compelling addition to the Steel Sinners MC series, delivering a gripping blend of suspense, emotion, and romance from its very first pages. Set against the glittering backdrop of Las Vegas, the novel pairs high-stakes danger with an intimate character-driven story, creating a reading experience that feels both cinematic and deeply personal. Hart’s writing is confident and immersive, drawing readers into a world where loyalty, protection, and vulnerability collide in unforgettable ways.
One of the novel’s greatest strengths is the chemistry between Iris and Ghost. Iris is easy to root for—hopeful, resilient, and quietly brave—while Ghost brings depth and intensity as a hero shaped by regret but driven by fierce devotion. Their dual perspectives enrich the story beautifully, allowing the reader to feel both the tenderness of their growing bond and the tension of the dangers surrounding them. The result is a romance that feels passionate, satisfying, and emotionally earned.
The atmosphere of Elysium and the larger Steel Sinners world adds an extra layer of intrigue that makes this book especially memorable. Hart balances the glamour of Vegas nightlife with the edge and danger of the motorcycle club setting, giving the story a vivid sense of place. The pacing remains strong throughout, with moments of tension, tenderness, and protective intensity woven together seamlessly. Fans of morally gray heroes, found-family dynamics, and fast-paced romantic suspense will find plenty to admire here.
Overall, Possessed by Ghost is a very well-written, highly enjoyable romance that delivers exactly what readers of the genre hope for: emotional stakes, irresistible chemistry, and a hero willing to do anything for the woman he loves. Cassi Hart has crafted a story that is both entertaining and heartfelt, making this installment a standout for readers who enjoy protective alpha heroes and guaranteed happily-ever-afters. It is a glowing example of why the Steel Sinners MC series continues to captivate its audience.

Tropes: MC Romance Witness Protection Secret Identity Insta Love Obsessed Possessive
Possessed By Ghost is Book 7 in the Steel Sinners MC Series. This is Iris and Ghost Story!
This book starts with Iris Turner aka Elizabeth Grundy testifying against a powerful drug cartel leader and getting him sent to prison.
Six months later, she has settled into her new life in witness protection, living in Las Vegas working as a bartender at an exclusive casino called the Elysium. She loves her job, she has made some new friends, but because no one can ever no who she really is makes her still feel alone. All she wants is to feel safe. She is a hopeless romantic and all she wishes for is a knight and shining armor to sweep her off her feet and rescue her. She knows who she wants but has never even said a word to him. That man being Ghost.
Ghost is a member of the Steel Sinners MC, they are the ones who own the Elysium where Iris works. Every time Iris sees Ghost her heart beats a little faster, and he takes her breath away. All she wants is for him to notice her, approach her, talk to her. She wants him to make the first move because she is so inexperienced and shy and can't make the first move herself.
What she doesn't know is Ghost has been watching her as well. Even though he wants to approach her he doesn't because he believes she deserves someone better then him, someone who doesn't have darkness and past mistakes haunting him. But he can't stop watching her, wanting her, needing her.
But when the past catches up with Iris it is Ghost who rescues her and promises to never let anything or anyone hurt her. He will do whatever it takes to protect her, even if it means embracing his own darkness to do it. Iris is his to protect and love. He may not think he is worthy of her but he will do absolutely anything to prove that she is his and he is hers.
The way Ghost makes Iris feel so safe and protected is so cute to read. Their chemistry is off the charts and their love is so pure. I loved this story so much!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
She once was Elizabeth Grundy, and she had the misfortune of witnessing a murder when taking out the garbage at the bar where she worked. And being the only witness, it fell to her to testify against Julio Torres, the head of the cartel Viboras Gemelas, who murdered a man when he couldn’t pay back his debts. Now she’s a target, so into witness protection she goes.
In present day, she works at the Elysium Casino, run by the Steel Sinners. Her name is now Iris. And she has a thing for Ghost (formerly Bruno Benito, but she doesn’t know who he used to be). Everything shatters when a member of the cartel she’s running from quietly confronts her while she’s working.
Wrong move, buddy. You had no idea what you were about to unleash. Because Ghost protects what’s his, and he has allies to back him up.
This book doesn’t wait long to get to to the steamy parts. This is not a complaint, of course. Ghost and Iris have been pining for each other without making a move, until that confrontation with the cartel member. Elysium has excellent security, so it’s a mystery as to how that guy got in, but you can be sure that Ghost is going to hunt down every single person who thinks they can get rid of his girl.
I love that Pope, the leader of the Steel Sinners and head of the casino, is ready to back up Ghost in any and every way. Ghost saved the life of Pope’s wife, and nearly died in the process. I won’t spoil details of how everything goes, but since the author is all about the happy endings, you know you won’t be disappointed. So grab the book and watch these two get their happily ever after.

Possessed By Ghost by Cassi Hart is part of the multi author Steel Sinners MC series and it was an entertaining read. As an an instalove, hidden identity, age gap, suspense, biker romance it had a plot and storyline that had me hooked quickly, especially with the main characters of Iris and Ghost. Iris, recently moved to Las Vegas and working in the Elysium Casino owned by the Steel Sinners MC, has been pining for an enforcer, Ghost, for six months. Having had to start over in a new city after testifying against a cartel Iris is lonely and is too shy and inexperienced to make a move for Ghost but when danger from her past resurfaces Ghost steps in to help and protect her. Ghost, older and still struggling with demons and darkness from his former life, has kept his distance from the curvy, gorgeous Iris but when he observes her distress all restraint is dust as he promises safety and protection by himself and the MC. The mutual attraction between them that has been denied up until now sparks and their evident sizzling chemistry ignites as Ghost's possessive and protective instincts keep Iris close. The steam and spice in this story along with the suspense and drama that follows Iris, and action that occurs as danger closes in on Iris, easily kept me turning the pages right to the end to see how their HEA comes about.

This is part of the multi author Steel Sinners MC series and is interconnected with the author’s own Lords of New York in which Ghost, our MMC, is the exiled stepbrother of Matteo Rossi (from Bride for the Mobster) for kidnapping Matteo’s wife, Sophia.
Ghost, aka Bruno, a former member of the New York mafia turned Steel Sinners MC member, was a much better person after becoming sober and overcoming the jealousy and anger he’d allowed to fester due to how he perceived the power imbalance within his family. He really was a good guy as evidenced by the way he protected Iris, aka Elizabeth, the new waitress in the casino ran by the Steel Sinners MC. Personally, I couldn’t help but love him; yes, he messed up back in New York but, just like in the author’s book, Heart of the Mobster, he proved his kind heart by protecting Gabriella, his brother Nico’s woman, from a stalker even though his family had turned their backs on him. Just goes to show, sometimes a leopard CAN change its spots!
This is the only book I’ve read in this shared world so far but I loved it. To me it fits in perfectly with the Lords of New York—one of my most recent favorite series—due to its morally gray, obsessed, possessive and protective MMCs. Not every book in the series were actually a favorite but this one is and now I’m already looking forward to Ms. Hart’s next book! 4.5 stars for Ghost and Iris!

I really love this series! The fact that it is written by various authors (each book is a standalone within the MC universe) only makes me love it more as I got to meet new authors through this. This is the second book by Cassi Hart in this series. I’ve impatiently been waiting for Ghost’s story since the first book but also after I had read another book (part of another series) by this author called “Heart of the Mobster”, where we basically see Ghost’s past (you don’t have to have read it to enjoy this book, though). I was rooting for him to find his HEA for so long! Iris is a girl under witness protection, responsible for the conviction of a dangerous criminal, head of a cartel named Viboras Gemelas. She ends up in Vegas, shed of her past and identity and works as a waitress to the Elysium, the top-scale casino owned by the Steel Sinners MC. Ghost is as obsessed with her at first glance as she is with him. But for six months nobody makes a move. When the cartel finds her and her life is in danger, Ghost intervenes, determined to find out what is going on and help her at all cost. She is his and nobody will hurt her. I loved their road to HEA. It’s a relatively short read that I thoroughly enjoyed and finished in one sitting. 5 stars.

This installment in the Steel Sinners MC world delivers exactly what fans of protective biker romance crave—danger, devotion, and a hero willing to burn down the world for the woman he loves.
Iris is easy to root for. After surviving a traumatic past and starting over in Las Vegas, her quiet strength and hopeful heart make her an instantly lovable heroine. Her crush on Ghost gives the story a sweet, almost fairytale edge that balances the darker suspense elements well.
Ghost is the classic morally gray MC hero: rough around the edges, haunted by his past, but completely gone for his woman. His protective instincts and emotional vulnerability make him far more than the stereotypical biker alpha. The chemistry between him and Iris is immediate, intense, and full of emotional tension.
The suspense surrounding Iris’s past keeps the story moving quickly. Though the romance leans heavily into insta-love, it fits the fast-paced MC world and delivers the emotional payoff readers expect.
Perfect for fans of Protective alpha heroes and MC romances
This was a quick but addictive read packed with loyalty, danger, and heart.

*Possessed by Ghost* is the seventh book in the multi-author Steel Sinners MC series. Iris finds herself starting anew in a different town, working at the Elysium. As a true survivor of her past, she is determined to move forward. She has noticed Ghost from the Steel Sinners MC every time he comes down to the floor, but she never imagined he would notice her.
Haunted by his own past, Ghost doesn’t believe he deserves a second chance or anything good. However, the moment he sees Iris, he feels an overwhelming sense of possessiveness and protection toward her. When he discovers that she is in danger, he will stop at nothing to find her and bring her back safely.
Both Ghost and Iris are remarkable characters, each haunted by their pasts in different ways. Their connection helps them open up, support each other, and heal emotionally, which strengthens their relationship. The chemistry and attraction between them are fierce, intense, and undeniably spicy.
This story is heartfelt, filled with danger and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.

Oh my goodness, where do I even start with Ghost and Iris?! I am completely obsessed with this book! If you love a protective, "touch her and die" alpha hero, a strong heroine who is trying to outrun a dark past, and a plot full of high-stakes danger, you need to click buy on this right now.
The tension in the book is utterly delicious. The way Ghost watches Iris from afar on the casino floor. The chemistry between them is tangible from page one; you can literally feel the heat radiating off the pages long before they even admit their feelings to each other. Ghost is everything you want in a romantic suspense hero—fierce, utterly devoted, and fiercely possessive of what is his, even before Iris catches on.
The plot itself is incredibly well-paced. It seamlessly weaves together the grittiness of the club, the brutal danger of the cartels, and a web of greed. Just when you think they finally have a chance at happiness, Iris's past catches up with them, and the stakes skyrocket. I loved that Iris wasn't just a damsel in distress; her willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect Ghost and the club broke my heart, but it made their love story feel so much deeper.
This is a book that engages you from he first to last page and I didn't want to put it down

Possessed by Ghost is a fast-paced MC romance with the perfect mix of danger, protectiveness, and emotional intensity. Iris is sweet and easy to root for as she tries to rebuild her life after everything she’s survived, while Ghost is the classic broody, morally gray hero who thinks he’s too damaged for love but would burn the world down to keep her safe. Their chemistry is instant, but it fits the over-the-top instalove vibe of the Steel Sinners MC world really well. I also loved the Vegas casino setting and the found-family loyalty within the MC. The suspense keeps the story moving without taking away from the romance, and Ghost’s possessive “touch her and die” energy was definitely a highlight. If you enjoy protective alpha heroes, romantic suspense, MC romance with heart, and a guaranteed HEA, this is such a fun and addictive read ❤️🏍️
This is a quick, dramatic read with a Vegas casino backdrop, mafia ties, found-family MC loyalty, and a strong “touch her and die” hero. It’s perfect for readers who enjoy possessive alpha heroes, damsel-in-distress tension, romantic suspense, high heat, and a guaranteed HEA.

His protective instincts and surprising vulnerability make him far more than a typical alpha biker. The chemistry between them is instant, intense, and emotionally charged. Short but addictive slightly different so hang on you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Iris has had to leave her life behind after witnessing a murder she became someone else after entering witness protection starting over running from the cartel relocated to Vegas working in the casino which is ran by the Steel Sinners MC, and just trying to maintain a low profile, live a normal life but a certain sexy man isn’t making it easy. Ghost sexy as all get out Steel Sinners MC member with a past that still have him running from the ghost of his past doesn’t believe he deserves a second chance or love so he does his job, protects his brothers, and was okay with that until the beautiful quiet new hire walked into his casino. The magnetic pull can’t be ignored no matter how hard they try he knows she has a past she is running from but will he protect her will that past comes looking for her, will the MC step up, will they heal one another, and is there some form of happiness for the two of them?
Possessed by Ghost is such a good instalove MC romance and another reminder of why I love Cassi Hart’s interconnected worlds so much. This story follows Iris, who is living in witness protection, and Ghost from the Steel Sinners MC. Between the danger, emotional baggage, and instant connection, the story pulls you in quickly and keeps you invested the entire time. What really made this book stand out for me was Ghost. You truly can’t help but love him. Underneath everything, he’s so lost, and watching him slowly find his way again—with Iris, the MC, and the people who become his family—was incredibly heartwarming. I also loved the crossover feel with Cassi’s mafia series. Seeing those worlds connect adds so much depth and makes the whole universe feel even bigger and more immersive. This book balances heat, emotion, second chances, and found family perfectly. If you love MC romance with heart and characters you can’t help rooting for, I highly recommend this one.

This book was a fast read for me and I thoroughly enjoyed every single line of it. It had me invested and intrigued from the start and kept me there until the last word was written. We got tension and drama and suspense and romance all in equal measures. No part felt overshadowed by another. Iris was such a strong and formidable character. She was an easy character for me to want the absolute best for. I just wanted her to be happy and safe. Ghost was a seriously devoted man. He has some weight on his shoulders for sure and holds some regret. Watching his protective nature come forward along with a tenderness we only see for Iris was endearing and fortifying in equal measures. The chemistry and connection we get between Ghost and Iris is intense and insane in the best sense of the words. It was all encompassing and yet felt very genuine. Their relationship was one that felt so well earned and so well deserved. I was on the edge of my seat hoping they would get the ending I wanted for them. And the one they got was utter perfection and even more than I could have hoped for.
This one is technically part of the Steel Sinners MC series but adjacent to the Lords of New York series. Iris is in witness protection because she testified against the Cartel. She's relocated to Las Vegas and is bartending in a club where the Steel Sinners are security. She's found by members of the Cartel and Ghost realizes she's in trouble.
Normally the instalove is a bit weak mainly because the shortness of the story. This one works because we got to know Ghost through the Lords of New York series. Iris had her backstory at the beginning by herself, and it focused on her. We were able to understand them. The relationship between the two was spicy and emotionally there. They had already been crushing on each other. The one thing that was a major issue is when the FBI agent knew Ghost's name but was never told. Come on - Iris should have had red flags everywhere. That aside, this was a book worth reading. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
She was in the wrong place at the wrong time and her life has paid the price for that. Relocated and witness protection she’s trying to make a new life until danger from the past comes calling. This time, however she has ghost. Not quite a guardian angel. He is a member of the MC who owns the club. She works at and he has had his eye on her. When he sees the danger coming around, he knows what he has to do. He is a man with darkness of his own in the past and he’s not afraid to revisit it to protect those he cares about and she is his and he’s ready to claim her. This is definitely a protector her comfort story she is running from her past and he is the strong protector who can stand up and help her face it you get a little bit of the MC life, but this one’s mainly about them and him stepping out of the shadows to claim his girl.

Since Iris started working at the Casino, she has had a thing for Ghost. As soon as he is in the room, she knows, and her gaze can't help but fall on him.
Ghost doesn't need to be on the Casino floor, but he can't help himself; he needs to have his fill of Iris, even if it is just glances. This woman has him tied in knots. So when Iris comes to him for help, he can't say no; he'll play the part and keep her safe. No one touches what is his, even if she doesn't know it.
Iris and Ghost eventually admit their feeling towards each other. But love never runs smoothly, and when her past could hurt Ghost and the club that has been so good to her, she has to make a decision.
Club, Cartels, deceit, greed, and love are all woven into this storyline. Can love conquer all and give Iris the life she truly wants?.

A great and powerful addition to the Steel Sinners series. 6 months ago Elizabeth was a witness to a horrific tragedy, now that the culprit is paying for his crimes there is a target on her back, she has to move away and live her life as Iris. At the Steel Sinners club where she works as a bartender she finds herself attracted to Ghost but shes blissfully unaware that he is just as obsessed with her. Loved how protective and supportive Ghost became when her past catches up with her. The MCs chemistry was off the charts and their obsession with each other was scorching, this was a very steamy read, the storyline was so good, Ghosts real identity was a twist I never expected. Loved the coming together of past characters and the ending was just the cherry on top. Ps. Loved the characters imaginative way of consuming gelato!! 🥵
Possessed by Ghost by Cassi Hart is part of the multi-author Steel Sinners MC series.
This is a novella with lots of heat, intensity, danger, secrets and MC action that make it a great entertaining read! I was excited for Ghost's story because of his history and mafia family connection that is linked to the Lords of New York series. I was totally absorbed and couldn't put it down.
Iris works at Elysium is keeping secrets and is instantly attracted to Ghost with his smoldering good looks and intense vibes. Iris turns to Ghost for protection and their chemistry burns bright.
A very quick read that gives you all the elements for a great story.
I want to thank Cassi Hart for a free copy and I'm sharing my voluntary opinion.
I love Iris and her bravery in going forward as a witness, then embracing the life she is thrust into. Although I do wish she had slowed down a little and let her brain kick in when the Marshal finally returned her call, she is smarter than she was in that moment. And who knew that Ghost tied back to the Mafia series, soooo good! She gives him a reason to live again and he allows her to finally embrace "Iris" and her new life. A fantastic addition to the series, I enjoyed the crossover too and hope that we may get the Steel Aces series soon? Please, please, please? I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
Possessed by Ghost by Cassi Hart is part of the multi-author Steel Sinners MC series. This is Ghost's story, which is the perfect name for his as it seems he can be an apparition at times. Iris moved to Vegas and is working as a bartender at Elysium, which the MC owns and makes sure is clean. She is sort of hiding as she testified in a drug case that sent down a dangerous and powerful man. She has desired and longed for Ghost from the time she first saw him. He feels the same way but has been on watching over Iris because he believes he does not deserve her. But when her past comes back to threaten her it is Ghost who will come alive and ensure she is safe and protected. Of course that leads to a some naughty fun that is sizzling hot.
Iris witnessed a murder and testified at the trial and then found out the killer was part of the Italian Mafia and now they are after her and she goes into witness protection. She now lives in Vegas and works at the bar owned by the Steel Sinners where she meets Ghost. Ghost was also part of the Italian Mafia until he did something so bad they sent him away that is how he became Ghost in the Steel Sinners MC. When they end up together and things are going great until she gets a call that she has to be relocated and that is when everything goes wrong.

I LOVE this series, each book gets better and this is absolutely no exception. This is Ghost and Iris's story and it's not like any MC book I've read. The story grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go. Iris has watched Ghost, what few times she's seen him, and she's mesmerized. Ghost has seen the beautiful waitress, but keeps his distance. Ghost is not always a good man and knows he's not what Iris needs. When trouble finds her, Ghost realizes he's just the man she needs. This story also revisits characters from the other series. This is another MUST READ! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is another addition to the Steel Sinners MC and Iris and Ghost’s story was packed full of action and steam. Iris’s past comes back to haunt her after she had sent a mafia boss to prison and was now in witness protection. She started her life over in Vegas and has fallen for Ghost, a member of the Steel Sinners MC. Ghost wants nothing more than to protect Iris but he would need her full trust.
I have loved this series all along and Ghost is another five star read for me and I believe anyone else who love their MC stories with steam, protectiveness and plenty of action and suspense. I highly recommend this book.
