I've never dabbled in the romance novels that had a focus on religion so this was new for me. I think its important when trying to understand how the FMC and MMC behave and react.
I went back and forth on this book being a 3.5 to 4 star read for me. It ended as a 4 star though because of how it kept me invested throughout (especially since its not a typical genre) What I can say is the author writes really well, and definitely keeps you invested in the story. Part of me wonders if there were some plot holes because of small time jumps, but I believe it was necessary to keep the story moving forward.
During some of the book I wanted to yell at the FMC to wake the hell up, but you cant help but want her to have everything wrapped in a bow at the end.
There were pieces throughout the book that keep you guessing and wanting to get the answers.
The ending was NOT how I expected it to go, but I really love an ending where your jaw drops.
Cant wait for the next book!

This book is a dramatic, fast-paced story about a woman caught between two men—her husband and another man who’s married to someone else. There are a lot of twists and emotional moments that keep things interesting and make it hard to put the book down. The relationships feel messy and real, and the tension builds with every choice she makes. Just when you think you know how it’s going to end things shake up, leaving you wanting more and excited to ready the next book.

When I was talking with the author about this book, I knew right off that I was already interested in reading it.
When I received a copy to review, I was hooked from the very start.
Having been born and raised in Utah, I know the culture from this book and it was easy to relate to.
This book contains a variety of emotions, as well as many supenseful twists and turns.
The end of the book definitely leaves you wanting more. Now I can't wait to read the 2nd book.

What an emotional rollercoaster full of twists and turns. Sarah is caught between two men, her husband and landlord. This was an emotional and tension filled journey. The characters and story were well thought out.

If you are looking for a strong FMC this is the book for you. I flew through the ARC for Entanglement! This is not your normal MMC/MFC dynamic it’s full of forbidden pleasures and a splash of intense “who did it”!

Absolutely devoured this book!! Great characters, a little dash of suspense and plenty of spice! The closer I got to the ending I was like ..... ummmmm is this going to leave on a heart wrenching ending or something crazy is going to happen?! Was not expecting that ending! Hot, steamy, and packed with suspense. Every chapter pulled me in deeper and that finale… wow. I need book two immediately!

I received an ARC from the author, and I read it all in one day! It is a story about a woman who is in unhappy and unfilled in her marriage and becomes strongly drawn to another married person. She had a religious upbringing and this cause a lot of conflict and inner questioning about her choices throughout the story.
The author warned there are triggers and it will likely start out as an uncomfortable read. This a true statement. I almost stopped a couple chapters in because of personal life experiences. However, I trusted the author and continued. I am glad I did, as you can tell by the fact I finished it in one day.
I am left with many questions that I believe will be answered in future books. I am also left conflicted about my feelings about the main characters. Will there be redemption? Will there not?
The author writes beautifully! However, there are definite triggers. She does a good job of listing them. Also, be aware the intimate scenes are detailed. If that isn't something you care for, this book could be difficult for you. If I had not been reading this as an arc and just for personal pleasure, I would had probably skimmed through those as I continued with the stories. But, after reading these sections, I also think they are necessary for a reader to truly understand the relationship between the two main characters.
At the end of the story, I am glad I read it. I could see it being a book that draws a lot of discussion amongst people who read it. And anytime you have a reaction to a story, no matter what it is, good or bad, the author has been successful. Congrats to a job well done.

We start off meeting Sarah, a 19 year old girl who married her hs sweetheart, who turns out to be a douche and a bum.
She’s very young and naive, and kind of desperate to feel loved , which I can sympathize with as a former dumb 19 year old girl. She then meets Spencer, on of her landlords for the business she runs with her mother. Spencer is hot, older and gives her the attention and “affection “ she so desperately seeks. Spencer is also married. Spencer is also probably one of the least likable characters I’ve ever come across. He’s a slimy and manipulative snake, but sweet Sarah just doesn’t see it. Though she does tend to have temporary moments of clarity but then goes right back to having hearts in her eyes for him. It was extremely frustrating. And just when you think Spencer may be redeemable and they get a happily every after, boom cliffhanger. So now I have to wait god knows how long to find out if sweet Sarah gets her hea.

THIS BOOK!!!!
The character development is unparalleled! I literally saw a lot of myself in the main character. To be wanted, loved, and to be seen. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but this book is an absolute MUST read!
Ms. Loveland’s writing style is absolutely lyrical but yet it’s accessible, which made it impossible to put down!
The twists and turns and it even had me on an emotional rollercoaster ride through parts because the characters were so real and were very relatable.
The ending, just wow! There were twists you think you have figured out, but it turns another direction!
Am I being a bit dramatic? Perhaps. Was this book everything (and more) to the point that it felt life-altering? Absolutely!
This book is one of my new favorites and I can’t wait to read the entire series!! Thank you!

This was an “okay” reading for me. It had a lot of potential for the storyline itself, but I had a hard time finishing the book. The characters, to me, never felt like they deepened throughout most of the story. The wordings in the conversations felt very surface level and stilted most of the time. I always wanted there to be more supporting development of the story and inclusion of the details that were provided. Many times I felt like there were clues inserted that made me watch for when the information should have resurfaced, but the MCs never appeared to “remember” those details. I know this was the first in a series but I felt like it could end there and I wouldn’t really keep wondering what could happen.

This is my first time receiving an ARC. This book was intriguing and kept me hooked to the story line. The author knows how to keep your attention and never let you get bored. I do have a hard time ethically with the storyline however I do feel like the series as a whole, will not disappoint. Overall, I gave this 4 stars because it’s not a storyline I would typically choose however, I do look forward to completing the series. I have no doubt by the end of the series, this will be a 5 star rating!

Lies, lust, betrayal, morally grey and age gap. FMC and the MMC has this pull towards each other that makes it hard for them to not want to be together. Both married and not happy in their life. This new found relationship is everything they both want for now. The plot twisted at the end which surprised me. I can’t wait to read book 2 to see what happens between the FMC and MMC.

This book is about a woman who was realized how unhappy she was in her marriage. Her husband was an alcoholic and she felt neglected and wanted more and chose to start a relationship with another man who was also married and unhappy. This book had non stop twist and turns, emotions and drama. I thought I had the story figured out then came another twist, leaving me wanting more. Great book.

This book had me so up and down. Definitely a recommended read if you love romances with twists. Loveland throws in those dual POVs at just the right time throughout the book to give both characters emotional perspectives. The additional mystery behind the caller adds just the right suspense to keep you invested in the book. Looking forward to the second book......have to know what happens.

This book is complex. It has twists and turns and the ending leaves you feeling a little jilted. Even though you know the characters are doing something wrong you are still rooting for their relationship. A must read with an open mind in order to get swept away in this story. It is one that will leave you wanting more.

I truly enjoyed this book! It is dramatic and quirky/cute at times, but also has suspenseful moments that have you question what is really going on. The FMC is relatable and the story almost makes you question right and wrong. There’s always a gray area! The spice is just right and doesn’t take away from the plot and the ending will leave you ready for the next book!

I started reading this book 4 days ago and just can’t put it down. I am reading it every chance I get in between life happenings. It is so good, love, desire, pain, mystery all in one. Do read the trigger warning because there are some triggers that you might not be able to handle. This book really had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Can’t wait for Book 2!!

I read Entanglement as an ARC read, I could not be more excited with this story line! This is a forbidden romance that meets suspense. As soon as I thought I had everything pegged, I was completely wrong! I can’t wait to read book two!

Oh my, this by far kept me for 4 days start to finish! So well written, the characters and story from pat to the cliffhanger ending have me on edge waiting for the next. Trigger warning were very well noted, I felt as though I was watching it all unfold.
