In this dark romantasy novella, Cupid’s chaotic week of meddling with souls finally catches up to him. After bending destinies across realms and stitching hearts that should’ve never met, he’s exhausted… and careless.
One misfired arrow — delivered thanks to a very unhelpful angel friend — goes astray.
And lands squarely on the head of her.
The Keeper of Knowledge. Ancient. Untouchable.
A being feared across the universe for her feral magic and the fire burning behind her cold eyes. For a thousand years, no one has dared to approach her. Those who tried left scorched… or worse.
Cupid never intended to bind himself to anyone, let alone her. But fate or his own foolish mistake has tied their souls together in a bond neither of them understands.
She doesn’t want this kind of romance. She doesn’t even want his company. Yet under all that molten fire and centuries of solitude… she aches to be seen.
Now Cupid must survive the wrath of a woman who could turn him to ash with a thought — while discovering that even the coldest heart can crave love, and even the angel of love can fall harder than anyone.
So good luck, Cupid.
And to the librarian? — Go get him, girl.

These past few months have been a whirlwind, so I’m a little late with my ARC review of this amazing novella but oh my!!!!!!!!!! was it worth the wait!!!!!!!!! I devoured it in literally an hour. I was completely swept up in the connection between these two characters!!!!!!
This story follows Daalisiya, a certain fae we briefly met back in book 1 of the Divine Destinies series, and Apollon, the angel who appears in book 2. I absolutely did not expect their story to be this hot and sensual. The way Daalisiya struggled to accept her feelings hit me right in the heart. It reminded me a little of myself, honestly. Since my own story of meeting my husband still feels magical in its own way. I didn’t believe in love either, and I’d been alone for a long time and then suddenly there he was. He practically fell on his head, everything felt so good yet so unexpected, and somehow perfectly timed and untimely all at once. You know that feeling. So yes!!!! This novella resonated with me deeply, even though we’re not magical beings just people but the emotion is the same.
I also have to highlight how beautifully sensual this novella is. Everything flows naturally, nothing feels forced, and I was captivated from the very first page straight through to the end.
I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves HOT, emotional stories between angels and fae with a guaranteed happy ending! Wink wink.
Check the trigger warnings. I was hooked from the start and managed to read it in a few hours. The details were great. The spice was hot and so was Apollo. Daalisiya is so beautiful and im glad she found what she was looking for. I did laugh a at some of the comments. This book was amazing and I loved it!
