3.75 I laughed several times in this volume with the bird and the a few of the tower analogies. These two just need to be straight forward but its still cute and not annoying. Its over the top in a zany kind of way that makes it fun at this point. Hiwatari's glow is great, this author should just draw good looking men in great suits all the time. And the bits where they are in different levels of undress and dishevelment.... she is amazing. I hope next volume is confessions!

I love this series. It's so crazy from the beginning and it just gets wackier. The art work is so clean and really gets into the characters heads. I also love that the MLs both have close people to confide in that are telling them the exact same thing and it's done so well. I can't wait until the next part comes out.

This was ridiculous at the start and maintains that through and through. I'm tickled.

Recap: kiss, zaddy panics bc protege isn't saying anything about, meanwhile protege is just on cloud nine for a whole week lol, then he decides to get a haircut and clothing makeover, zaddy gets jealous, and they begin actually being physical with eachother heh

The pacing is still pretty weird in this story. I liked a lot of the relationship development here...but you have to hardcore ignore all the physical stuff they've already done which for some reason doesn't factor into their current dynamic at all? Or their understanding of each other's feelings?

Takanashi gets overwhelmed by his feelings and kisses Hiwatari at the top of Tokyo Tower, which is a huge moment for both of them. For Takanashi, it's the realization that he's not just physically responding to Hiwatari: he's emotionally attached to him, too. In love, in fact. As someone who'd had tons of relationships and sexual encounters prior to the erectile dysfunction that took him off the market, he has no idea how to proceed from here: he's shown his interest, so the next step will obviously be sleeping together. He's a little nervous about doing it with a guy for the first time, but he's excited about it, too.

But nothing happens. For days. No matter what he tries - which is essentially everything but actually telling Hiwatari his feelings. Because he realizes he's never actually had to be the one to confess to someone else before, so he has no idea how to go about it.

Meanwhile, Hiwatari is just blissfully basking in being kissed by his hero-worshipped idol, the guy he's been in one-sided wistful love with for 15.5 years. So it simply doesn't occur to him that anything else would happen. He's been kissed! It's enough!

That's funny and fitting...again, if you ignore the fact that they've already done other stuff, and that in the previous volume Hiwatari had literally pinned Takanashi down in the back of a taxicab to indulge in not-so-heroic activities.

Anyway, this is a fresh start for both of them, and they both spend time finding and confiding in (to a certain text) two unexpected coworkers. Hiwatari's listening ear makes sense. Takanashi's honestly doesn't at all, but it's fine I guess. Maybe guys bond over weird things; the angry manager was able to see past his jealousy once he finally saw some of Takanashi's flaws and was able to spend time getting to know him as a real human person as a result.

I loved Hiwatari's makeover. Love the idea, too, of him taking the steps to really try to be his hero's equal instead of his worshipper, since that's the only way they can have a lasting relationship.

Decent stuff in this volume, even if the series has very wobbly and deeply inconsistent pacing.

Screaming and cheering, this is not an exaggeration! These Tokyo tower panels were so clever and the bright beams of light and sparkles are so hilariously and brilliantly placed. This series has me dying of laughter and blushing hard at the mildly spicy scenes. They deserve each other and it's been great seeing them push and pull at their boundaries and feelings. Can't wait for volume 5!

I love these two idiots so f-ing much. How the hell did the author manage to go this many volumes WITH kissing and a lil more but the characters are still unrequited idiots?! Absolute perfection. Tension is 💯. Heart pounding, I bought the next one in the series IMMEDIATELY. Please give this series a shot. It’s so sweet and the tension is just HDHEJSKAKKAKAKAKA

I love them both so much, and though the way that the relationship is developing, is very spaced-out (lots of breaks) I really just love seeing them get closer and closer to one another with each volume (*^-^*)

Will 100% continue this series♡

Sadly this is ridicules and not great. To be honest it's a bit over the top and rude to 40 year olds. Very unrealistic and no growth or real chemistry.
