AUTHOR'S BLURB
Yes, I made a mistake, a really big one, but how long should I have to pay for it?
I mean, come on, being cursed to stay in my shifted form until my fated mate stumbles upon me? I wish there was another way to pay but when you do the crime, I guess you have to do the time.
Until then, I’ll be sitting here, a mustard yellow recliner that’s seen better days, a relic from decades past. My mate is out there, somewhere...I think... I hope.
But with each day that passes, it just doesn’t seem likely.
MY THOUGHTS
I'm somewhere between "Hey, that was kinda fun!" and "What tf did I just read?" Overall, the writing is funny, and you get a pretty clear impression of both MCs for a novella. They are fated mates, so that accelerates the story as well, as they are immediately into each other, much to the detriment of the upholstery (sort of). Other than our MCs finding one another, not much else happens.
BOTTOM LINE
I mean, why not? If you haven't read sentient romance, try something new. And if you have, this is a quick, low-angst read.
