Sometimes attraction is so strong, it threatens to burn you alive.

Rori Madison lived her life to make others happy. She dedicated herself to medicine and was happy living in solitude, until one day she found herself homeless and in desperate need of saving. With no where to turn, she moves in with her coworkers friend from college. It all seemed to good to be true...which meant it was. Turns out, the kind stranger who was offering her a room was the single man she’d been attracted to since she moved to Los Angeles. The man who was determined to learn all of her secrets so he could fix the darkness in her eyes.

Aiden Kelly was the quiet one of the family. He was the one who always showed up for people and refused anything in return. When he got frustrated, he escaped to his workshop and turned his anger into beautiful furniture. At this point, he’d accepted that his siblings would find their love stories and he’d always be a side character... until Rori Madison blew into his life like the shiny, colorful tornado that she was.

The two decide to put their feelings aside to enter a friendship they both desperately need. But, adjusting to life side by side was something neither of them expected.

Attraction heats up, boundaries get tested, and two loners learn that maybe life is a little easier when you have someone else to lean on.

Kathryn Coin did it again! I’m convinced she puts something addictive in her books because once I start, I just can’t stop reading.

The Kellys are my favorite fictional family. They feel real and relatable - and they’re so funny, chaotic, lovable, and supportive. Every time I return to this world, it feels like coming home.

This book was another masterpiece. It touches on some heavier topics, but they were handled with so much care and depth. The emotional moments truly hit.
Aiden was everything - protective, patient, soft in the best way. The way he cared for Rori had my whole heart. 🥹
And Rori? A total badass queen with a huge heart and a powerful story of her own.

This series continues to just be a warm hug.

These Kelly siblings are the Brady bunch as much as they disagree 🤣

This book had a little Greys Anatomy coding too it
The O’Malley part 🤣😭😭

Aiden & Rori 💕
He’s builds furniture
She’s a doctor
Roommates to lovers
Sibling banter & group chats
Slow burn
Love at first sight

Malibu setting
But she’s from Texas

Roris past dealt with a very sensitive topic.
And I think it was done well and respectively.

Aiden’s our little recluse boy.
And that’s a favorite MMC trait of mine

How is there only one more sibling!

My absolute favorite one!!

Thank you so much to Kathryn for the ARC opportunity!!

Y'all I love this series so much! I love getting to dive into the Kelly world and just feel all the fun moments, the love, the pain and everything in between. Aiden and Rori mean so much to me and I cannot express how I related to Aiden.. The tension between these two was love at first sight and it's fun and nerve racking to see them be roommates and friends to lovers. Rori is a resident doctor at a children's hospital and Aiden his wood-work business. Living together and finding a balance in their busy schedule and they make it work. Rori having to move away from her home state to live her life after something tragic happened to her and she finds herself living with Aiden. Aiden feeling lonely, always working and even though the quality time with the siblings is there, it didn't feel as if he belonged. Both of them being broken puzzle pieces and finding each other felt wholesome and how protective Aiden is with Rori! Her being in denial that it wasn't something she thought she deserved but in the end....end game!!!

AND let me not forget about the Kelly siblings and their partners because I LOVE the heck out of them!! It always feels wholesome to see these characters and laugh and feel within the circle!! Of course, these books can be read as a standalone but its more fun to be read in order!!

I felt so connected to this book-I cried and laughed so much!! I don't usually cry EVER when reading but this one just holds a special place with me.

If you're someone who's looking for a found Family book series, let me tell you that you will love this series! The Kelly's are a fun bunch and they will have you doing Four Laps soon...unless you don't know about it... You might want to brace yourself for a wild ride!!

"I was proud to be the one who was her safe place to land."

💭: I’m just going to say it — Kathryn Coin is one of the most underrated authors I’ve ever read. Coastal Attraction gave me every single thing I love in an elite read. She made me laugh, she made me swoon, she made me cry… and the freaking angst. LAWD, y’all — the ANGST.

It takes a special kind of talent to write angst without it feeling dragged out, and Rori and Aiden delivered while making us beg for more.

I genuinely can’t decide what I loved most about this story. Was it Rori catching me completely off guard the moment she flipped a switch and unleashed that filthy mouth (because WOW, did not see that coming)? Was it Aiden being the most patient soul alive and somehow making the nurturer/caretaker role so freaking sexy? Or was it the family dynamics and the unwavering support they give each other? I truly don’t know — I just loved it all.

These books can absolutely be read as interconnected standalones, but honestly, you’d be doing yourself a disservice. Watching Kat’s writing evolve over the six books I’ve read has been such a joy — and the Kelly family is overflowing with love. Each member brings something different to the table, and while some might call it chaotic, it’s actually perfection.

I’m so grateful to be on this journey with Kat as she brings her ideas to life. Start the Coast to Coast series ASAP. And side note: don’t let the characters’ ages deter you. As a woman in my 40s, I’m not even sure I would’ve appreciated these stories as much in my 20s. They hit every emotion, and I’m so thankful for this ARC.

gosh do I love this a read. it's so much I read romance for. the perfect meet cute in a bar with a gorgeous red headed former pageant queen turned doctor. their meet was something to remember then she vanishes only to find her the next day to be his roommate. how very convenient her apartment is flooded and her best guy friend fellow Dr knows of a place.
I loved how this book often referenced Grey's anatomy and Dr mc dreamy. when you know you know.
rori x beauty queen has lots of baggage. lots! he's got lots of patience for her. it truly was love at first sight! and I loved it. you can get very invested in these couples you want to watch their progress. and this author wrote it well. she gave you the most adorable characters and their magnificent hea.
I truly appreciate this author's writing and her stories.

MMC/MFC: Aiden and Valerie Aurora “Rori”

Tropes:
* Roommates to more
* ‘Love’ at first sight
* Forced proximity
* He falls first (and hard)
* Touch her and ….
* Protective MMC
* Found family
* Slow burn

Safety:
Mentions of SA, horrible, horrible parents who enable SA, lots of tension, OW/OM drama

Loved the characters - the banter, humour, and how Rori was just accepted by them.
The way furniture was used as a reflection of them… and the descriptions…. so good!

You could feel the love… once you get past the angst with rival love interests, spite dating, and her family issues. I love how protective he was!
It does delve into some pretty serious issues - it was dealt with very respectfully.
I fell in love with them (in fact, all of the characters), and I can see potential spin-offs… I want Olivia’s story, please!
