The Miner War rages, and it becomes increasingly evident to former Top Sergeant Bo Duckworth that someone is pulling strings, manipulating events behind the scenes. But in the midst of all the chaos, Phaethon Corp. equipment is getting a trial by fire, and mining companies are taking note. Already the multipartite Micabot android known as Mike has impressed many, leading to inquiries about similar models.
Tom Savage is committed to striking while the iron is hot and expanding Phaethon’s sales. But will the Unshaven, the Imps and the Ogres, and all their fighting get in the way? Not if the Duck can help it …
Join the ride with Duck, Big Mack, and the whole gang as they fight their way through the frontiers of space in this high-octane romp! Featuring futuristic warfare, sprawling brawls, and good old-fashioned fun! Veteran science fiction and fantasy author, two-time Kindle Scout winner Jaxon Reed presents Book 4 in this fast-release, fast-paced series!
The Miner War continues to intensify as Bo Duckworth and his crew navigate their way through the galaxy. Duck and his team are striving to protect the station from being captured.
While the battles unfold, the bots are tirelessly working to ensure everyone's safety. I appreciate the bots and their incredible capabilities. The descriptions are so vividly portrayed that I can easily envision the bots in their transformations.
Every character is exceptional in their own distinct manner. I am fond of the universe that has been crafted for Phaethon Corp., and although this is Duck’s narrative, I truly enjoy the inclusion of Tom Savage.
The skirmishes that occur seem to escalate the excitement and keep me engaged in the story from one page to the next. I can't seem to get enough of this universe and eagerly anticipate what lies ahead for Duck and the rest of the crew in the next chapter of the Phaethon Corp. saga.
As always, I highly recommend Phaethon Expansion, another fantastic tale in the Phaethon Corp. universe. Be sure to grab a copy of this amazing story today for an unforgettable adventure!
The Top Duck does come up with the most audacious suggestions for expanding the Savage sphere of influence. He and his team really do belong with Tom Savage and his family connections - their methods fit together to a T. For all that I like how the storyline is progressing and how a combat team takes to bodyguard work, this particular book does not feel as original as the others in this series, being a progression of battle scenes interspersed with negotiations and sales combat. Still, this is a worthy bridge to future shenanigans and mayhem.
I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Miner War is ongoing so Bo and Tom make a few plans to ensure they stay alive for what is coming. And in this book, there is some fighting and Bo's team makes a side trip with some old friends from the last series. Some fun scenes, Micabots doing their thing and Lisa making everything run well. It had me laughing and kept me entertained.
The writing in this book is smooth flowing, enjoyable and very hard to put down. Disappointing when it is finished so quickly. Keep up the great works.
