Practical Faith: The Call to Courageous Living in the Book of Hebrews
Practical Faith takes you into the world of the writer and the first readers of the Letter to the Hebrews, a portion of the New Testament that is both loved and feared. Loved, because the Letter to the Hebrews speaks so highly and so eloquently of the Lord Jesus Christ, the savior and hero of generations of Christians over the last two millennia. Feared, because the Letter to the Hebrews contains six so-called “warning passages” that some interpret as saying that God can withdraw His gift of eternal forgiveness, or that an individual can place himself beyond the reach of God’s forgiveness.
