The most straight-up enjoyable read I've had in ages.
Not sure whether I'd call it crime, noir, comedy, or what. It's the good bits of those genres.
The pacing, twists and whodunnitry of good crime.
Setting and seedy characters from the shady underbelly of Autralian country towns.
And actually laugh out loud funny.
Tight writing done with easy going good humour.
This hit the summer holiday reading spot for me, bang on target.
Hoping there's another soon.
Will be gifting to family and friends.

Really enjoyed this book from start to finish. A rollicking good read from death to reincarnation.
What an imagination Rob Macdonald must have. Whilst you could not say the characters were typical, fairly certain we have met some of them. It’s very easy reading with lots of laugh out loud moments. We both read it and have recommended it to several people. It would make a great telemovie,we wait with anticipation
