About the author

AmarA was born and raised in the Twilight Zone (though she did not realize it) on a steady diet of Star Trek and amid a constant influx of classic books from Anne of Green Gables and Ramona to Mark Twain and Jekyll & Hyde.

She studied acting through adolescence (Meisner mostly) and discovered the world behind the stage lights which transformed her into a scenic designer, painter, and sometime costumer.

Traveling led her to explore using her skills to illustrate, to help shy young men propose to their beloved ones, to brand and to entertain.

She has been writing continually since her first Star Log journal in 1990. AWAKE: A Vampire Tale is her first novel.

Après la mise en place du contexte, ce tome est consacré à l'aversion du dragon par rapport aux humains.
Nous découvrons en même temps que les cats sith l'histoire entre les hommes et Tonton ailé.
Nous faisons également la connaissance de trois chats de la forêt l'un vivant dans la cité, l'autre formant des champs à la culture des sétaires et le plus jeune décidant de former à la magie une jeune humaine prometteuse. Le dragon ne sait plus où donne de la tête pour surveiller tous ses neveux et nièces dispersés.
Un manga rempli de douceur et de tendresse.
