Diana—

He was my patient. Someone I was meant to look after. Treat. Not crush over. But I can’t help it. I’ve tried to stay away. I really have. But when he offers to help me, I don’t say no. When he asks me out, I say yes. And when he asks me to be his… it’s a dream, a hope. Something I want, but I know it isn’t an easy answer. Not when his life, his family, sees me as a threat. Unwanted. A nuisance. Everything I never wanted to be, but the only thing they think I am.

Law—

I went into the hospital one way and came out another. No one cares how I got hurt, just that I’m alive. But how I act now? How I see things differently? How I forget my past? That’s what they blame me for. The club, something I remember being my whole world, isn’t the same now. But neither am I.

The club has always had a threat against it. Being a president, I understood that more than most. I knew life with the Hounds wasn’t going to last forever—I just never expected that it would be those inside who would decide how long I had.

When a choice needs to be made, the club or the girl, I don’t know which I’ll choose. The past and all those with it? Or the possibility for something new without my family? In the world of the Hounds, second chances don’t come easy… but they might just be worth fighting for.

TRIGGER WARNING: THIS BOOK CONTAINS SWEARING, VIOLENCE, AND SCENES THAT SOME READERS MAY FIND UNCOMFORTABLE. AND LOTS OF FUN TIMES BETWEEN THE SHEETS.

You knew this one was going to be sticky with the little we saw of Ruby's blow up in the previous book. I get it, but I also get Law's side of things. It's a tough place to be in for them both.

I liked Law and Diana together, but their pet names for each other really grossed me out! It didn't help that they went together with the age gap thing they had going on.

Things got really crazy towards the end. I hated what Diana had to go through, really wanted more of a better ending than what we had. But at least all the action made everyone see what was important and a lot of the animosity that was there at the start was gone. Everyone is now finding their new normal with Law and Diana being chief among them.

I'm so disappointed.

I have read every book in this series so was so excited to see this one was next. I was so sad when I thought Law was dead I actually cried (sad I know) so when it emerged he wasn't I was so happy and couldn't wait for his book. Until I read the blurb and I was a bit unsure. Then when I started reading I was so disappointed. It feels so different to the books before, I loved Law in all the others but I don't like the new Law. This book really wasn't for me and now im not so sure about reading Atom when it comes out.

Memories

Memories are what we cling on to for those that have passed. They are also show us our past and if we learn from them or want to forget they ever happened. Laws brain lost the memories of his first wife, my thoughts are his brain it protecting him from the memory of losing her all over again. I like what Ruby said to him. I live this series and look forward to more from them. On to the next adventure!😉💙💚

DNF. Can’t stomach the H in this book. I had a feeling from the last book that I would hate this one and I was right. Not a big fan of amnesia trope to begin with, but this one really sucks. I have no sympathy for his situation or his nurse “Babygirl” 🤮. ONLY forgetting his daughter and deceased love of his life, is EXTREMELY convenient for Law, isn’t it?

Go into with a open mind

Honestly it took about half the book before I started to really get into it. I knew Law wouldn't have his memory of the past but some parts where like WTH?! And Diana was somewhat needier than what I'd like but it's still part of hounds and I did enjoy it at the end.
