I absolutely loved this series from the very first book and couldn’t wait for the third instalment to come out. One of the most pleasant surprises was that it’s written from his perspective—and it works brilliantly. It truly highlights how complex he is as a character. He isn’t framed as good or evil; he is a god who doesn’t operate within a human moral compass, which makes his worldview fascinating to read. This contrast works especially well because she, on the other hand, is profoundly human and struggles to reconcile his nature with her own ethics. The entire book kept me on edge—I devoured the pages as if my life depended on it. The male character, in particular, stood out: he didn’t feel like a stereotypical male voice written through a female lens, which I genuinely appreciated. He felt distinct, consistent, and believable in his otherness. Beyond the characters, the story itself has real depth and constantly invites the reader to question morality, power, and perspective. This author is definitely someone I want to keep reading—an incredible talent with a strong, confident narrative voice.
